Due to several major winter storms, my original service date was postponed twice by Air Experts. When the technician finally came, he spent about 30 minutes time down in the crawlspace, where my furnace is located. When he came back into the house, he told me that the capacitance measurement was low, and because my furnace was so old, I would be better off replacing the entire furnace, rather than just servicing it. He told me someone would be in touch with an estimate for a replacement furnace. I haven't heard from them since. I definitely plan to seek a second opinion, as I wasn't overly impressed with the Technician. The company never followed up, which is odd. I am not interested in doing business with them in the future.

I thought the service was excellent. I had 4-6 problems with the HVAC system in my new home identified on the new home inspection report, everything from rusted vents to the unit running too hot. The serviceman, Mike, looked at all of them and explained what needed to be done, if anything. Several of the items did not need any service at all -- the inspector had not examined the problem carefully enough or did not understand what he was seeing. For the ones that needed repair, he performed the repair quickly and efficiently. He explained everything he was doing and the price. I was very happy with the service and the price. In fact I signed a maintenance agreement with the company for spring and fall maintenance because I was so pleased with them.

Unit stopped working over the weekend during the cold snowy weekend. So, I'm sure there were a lot of customers needing service after the weekend. I called Air Experts on Monday morning, and was given had a technician come out later that day! One of the reasons I've continued to re-use Air Experts, is that I find I can trust the technicians who come to check on my system. I'm going to be given an honest assessment, have any work needed explained, be shown defective parts and not be oversold on unnecessary repairs.

I heard strange banging coming from under the house and a hissing noise outside around the gas meter late at night. I called the gas company, who came immediately. Turns out it was not gas but the furnace, and the gas man said to turn it off. Called Air Experts the next morning, and they came right away. The tune-up took care of the noise, and I'm good to go. I appreciate their fast response and honest assessment. Will call them when I need to replace the furnace.

The outdoor portion of my heat pump wasn't working. (The outdoor fan wasn't coming on.) I called Air Experts this morning (Sunday) thinking I would need to set up an appointment for later in the week. They said they would send someone out this afternoon!! Great! The technician arrived ahead of schedule quickly determined that the outdoor fan/unit was functioning properly but was not receiving any signal from the thermostat. He then was able to activate the outdoor unit by jumping two of the connections in the thermostat and thereby determine that the thermostat itself was bad. The thermostat needed to be replaced which I can do with one from a home improvement store. Great service! Expert work and advice. Could not ask for more. We are very pleased.

They responded to the service call and scheduled the appointment in good time. The service technician called with the diagnosis a few hours later and quoted the fix parts and labor was $794.00 He said the part would have to be ordered and he would return the following day. The part cost for a draft inducer fan motor sounded high so I told him I would check the pricing and get back to him. I found out the retail price of the part was between $200-250 delivered and was quoted $638 plus $157 to install the part for a total of $794 which supposedly included a 10% discount. I called back with the pricing I found online and he said that was the price for the part that corporate set for their pricing. I was not happy with the estimate and decided to decline the fix. I though their pricing was very high. I will not call them again. The diagnostic charge was a additional $89.00.

They did nothing because they said that the gas line is stuck up. They wanted to charge me $700 for the parts or $6000 for the unit. He tried twice to see if he could get the gas going through. He tried to help me out about financing it. But the price was too high for me. He was on time and explained to me everything in detail. I would use them again, for the reason that they were at least honest to tell me really what was wrong.

.Robert has done several locations for me and this particular job he did something unusual, He installed two Philip head screws on he air filter once he put it in and it made it so much easier to pull in and out. Really small thing that made a huge difference. He also educated me on things i could take care of myself rather than taking advantage of me.

Bill took a great deal of time to do the job thoroughly and also kept me informed as at what he was doing and what I should do in the future to help keep everything in good shape.

Our heat pump sounded awful on Saturday, January 2 and we called for service. The HVAC company called us back in about 15 minutes to set up an appt. Technician called us later than day around 1pm. Since our heat pump seemed to be working fine, we decided to request a regular maintenance check on Monday. That was accomplished at 6pm that day. The Service technician said the charge in our Puron was very low and recommended a leak check on the system. Another technician came to check that on Wed., Jan 6th, and found the leak. We set up an appointment for this work to be done on Thurs. The service technician explained he had to cut out a piece of a pipe on the heat pump, replace it with a new piece, solder it, and then re-insulate it. We also asked about the cost of a new heat pump since ours is 8 years old. After learning a newer, more energy efficient one would cost approx 12k, and would be much quieter, and cut our energy bill by half, we still opted to go with the repair instead. But when we need a new heat pump we will definitely use this company again. I especially appreciated the fact that is service technician did not pressure us in any way to buy the new model but answered all our questions so we can consider it for the future. This morning (Friday) we barely heard the heat pump go off and on. What a difference! Although these three visits cost nearly $1000 total, it was much cheaper than replacing our unit for a newer one when our current heat pump may work just fine for several more years.

Found them in working order

Did a good job of explaining the what and whys of what he was doing. I felt the pricing was a bit misleading. My home includes 2 units and I was billed extra for one of them. Had I known or been asked ahead of time that it would be additional price, I could have done a bit more research or found another provider. I had them do the work on the additional unit and paid for it because at 8pm at night and with how cold it's been, I doubt I could find someone to come out at that time.

The tech came out hooked up is gauges and said my Freon is low. He said it will cost over $400 do charge it and that my last 3 months or they can call me about a new system, and I said that's what I want but never heard from them again. The tech seems competent and knowledgeable.

Everything went fine. Employee was professional and friendly. Was at the house on time and worked quickly with no issues.

Technician was punctual, professional, and responsive. He surveyed our environment and then went about his business with the HVAC systems. He reported his findings to me at the conclusion of the maintenance check and departed.

They did very well. They did not charge anything extra. I may use them again if I have another sale. They left the area fine.
