He came and he worked on the unit and he found out something was wrong with the thermostat. He said it wasn’t wired correctly so he had to change the fuse. When he finished he charged me for the fuse and the labor. I should have not billed for anything more. I got a bill for about $171.00. I was happy with the service but not the money part.

Kyle was awesome! He explained everything that needed and waited for my home warranty to not be helpful. He was insightful and patient. I think he convinced me to use air experts for my a/c unit and furnace replacement. I do feel the cost of their refrigerant was very high though.

It was a waste of time. The service man got to my house and he came in and said ' its cool in here.' I said "yes, but its not doing right" He went over to my thermostat and asked had the original installers of my system ever been back here. I said no cause i was suspicious of where this questioning was going. I wanted to know what was going on with my system and what would need repairing. Instead i got a gauge reading and he explained that ive got a leak if my freon is that low. Then all i got was a conversation of how freon would cost me $163 a lb and estimated about $1800-2000 in repairs (how he calculated that and did nothing to find the leak i will never know) and how the old freon is being phased out. He also said instead of paying for repairs and about $400 in freon, just get some window units and think about replacing my system. So i acted like i was gonna call their company and talk about a new system on Monday and that was all that was done. Oh yeah, he use to work for the company that installed the systems in our subdivision and how when they installed the sytems, the copper pipes were on the ground, blah, blah...( i knew that because they came and lifted mine up years ago)...anyway talk is all i got. He did say that i should have condensation around my outside pipes and they should be frozen or iced from the freon. And he opened my door to under the house and looked in and started another conversation. That is all.

The office staff was extremely responsive, and even moved our appointment up once they had another cancellation. The service technician arrived 30mins. earlier than what his expected arrival, which was fine with us cause it was before the day got hot. The technician wasn't completely warm and welcoming, and corrected me on things I was doing wrong assuming I knew (when I didn't - new home owner). Once the tech got to the unit he was able to quickly diagnose the issue, and flushed the pump to get the a/c working again. He stated that the pump wasn't working and had the parts to replace on his truck. I approved the replacement after seeing the cost, and the work was done in less than 30mins. Overall, I was satisfied with the work done, but disappointed that the tech couldn't even give me a general idea of the condition of our a/c unit. I understand a full diagnostic appointment may be needed to determine the condition of our unit, but thought a service tech who is in the field all the time would be able to give a general assessment of the unit.

We used this provider in January to identify a problem with our HVAC system. The tech identified the problem as a faulty thermostat which I then replaced myself. This time we used this provider's A/C tune up service. During the servicing the tech noted that the dual run capacitor was reading low and recommended replacement at a cost of $197. Since I we did not have a frame of reference for this part we approved the repair. We have since researched the part and opened the A/C unit to determine the difficulty of the repair. We found that the effort required to replace this capacitor would only take about 5 minutes and the part can be obtained locally (Home Depot) for less than $10. $197 for 5 minutes work to replace a $10 part is outrageous! We give them an F for cost. All other aspects of the visit were "A" quality. We may use this provider in the future to provide diagnostic service but will be very careful about researching alternate repair options before approving any repairs.

It was fine. They were diligent and quick.

Responded promptly, came on time, did the work well and had no problem working on our rental. Would highly recommend and use again.

Starting with my initial call, customer service is a priority for this company. They were able to find an appt. sooner than my originally scheduled time and the technician (Bob) arrived a couple of minutes before me. I explained what I needed and Bob jumped in and started working. He didn't mind me asking questions and occasionally looking over his shoulder. Bob even added the making sure I'm happy was why he was there, again a sign that excellent customer service is essential in their eyes. He was determined to get a stubborn condensation drain flowing free and didn't leave until he did. I will definitely be calling Air Experts in the future.

They performed the stated service adequately. The problem started when the guy came to me and gave me a story about my system needing over $800 worth of parts, and he also said the R22 level was too low which indicate a leak somewhere. The compressor was replaced just over two years ago in which I paid $1,500. I've had no problems at all, and this was a simple service call. So, I was very surprised when he came up with a long list of parts that he claimed were critical or else... While the service guy was still in my home I called the real estate agent who recommended the company that replaced the compressor. He suggested that I hold off and get a second opinion. I had the heating HVAC company that replaced the compressor to come out and take a look. My system checked out fine, and they said the R22 level was ok as well. When I showed them the list of parts that were suggested they laughed and said those people were taking "complete advantage" of you. They went down the list and told me the retail price for the parts that were suggested. All the parts had been marked up significantly in price that was presented to me by Air Experts Heating & Cooling. In addition to the $89 I paid for the service, I was charged $161 for 1 pound of additional R22. The HVAC company that replaced the compressor only charges $65. Most importantly, I was told that the parts that were suggested were UNNECESSARY, and that my system checked out fine. Bottom line is that Air Experts Heating & Cooling is nothing more than a fraud. They tried to take advantage by overcharging me, and suggesting things that are NOT necessary. I am considering reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Do NOT waste your time or money with them.

Picked up an Angie's List deal to get a second opinion on my AC unit condenser fan motor - another HVAC company had recommended I replace it, and given they wanted $550 for it, I figured I'd make sure it absolutely needed replacing. The tech came out on time and did a great job explaining what he was doing. He was very polite and checked the system and informed me that the motor looked/appeared to be working fine and that I should keep an ear out for any noises, which would indicate problems. He also offered to check the crawl space, and provided details about crawl space dehumidifier systems - wasn't super pushy about it though, which is appreciated as I prefer to do my research. Definitely appreciate his honesty and friendliness. Would hire them again.

Scott was very straightforward and responsive. Listened to exactly what I wanted and never tried to push me into something more. Install was quick and simple.

The drain pan under the A/C was rusted and there was evidence that the line draining water from the unit had been cut and "fixed" at least 4 times previously. The drain pan was replaced and the float switch was also re-attached to the new pan. The main line draining the water was cleaned out and replaced beyond the last repair so it was one clean line with a more appropriately sized trap and a place for easy access to clean/flush the line in the future. Through his review Kyle determined that the primary cause for this problem was the unit was processing more air than it was designed to handle so he re-balanced the air flow and ensured the unit was processing only the amount it was designed for so as to lessen the chance of these water back-ups recurring in the future. He was kind and very patient working with us to explain the problem and proposed solution. Also on the day the actual repair was preformed he was considerate about the fact that we were having the house painted at the same time...our painters were able to work on an area other than his primary path and he got the work done in a timely manner. Their cost may be a little higher than the "lowest bidder" but the work is of high quality, it is guaranteed and their staff are professional. We knew what time to be expecting them to arrive and the work was done within the time projected. Hopefully all future calls to them will be for maintenance and not repairs but I am glad to have found them!

From the estimate, to the install and follow-up Air Experts was very professional. Patrick showed up to do the estimate at my requested date and time. Patrick was the only person to check all the vents and returns on the estimate appointment. After getting several estimates from vendors highly recommended by friends, we decided to go with Air Experts. Their year guarantee on labor and extended equipment warranty made them stand out from the other vendors. They installed the upstairs unit day 1 and the downstairs unit day 2. All of the staff has been very friendly, punctual and professional. We would recommend them highly. Wish more companies operated like Air Experts. Tim Boyd & Sara Marion

Called Air Experts to get an estimate for replacing my furnace and Scott arrived the same day and provided an estimate and detailed explanation. The estimate from Air Experts was nearly $1000 less than an estimate I received from the company I had been using for the past 30 years, for the exact same furnace. Installation was scheduled for the following day and the technicians arrived on time and had the new furnace installed in just a few hours. The technicians were courteous and removed the old furnace and all related debris. Will definitely be using Air Experts again for my future heating and AC needs.

Technician was polite, on time and professional. He answered all my questions and recommended more frequent service. He performed the same service at my daughter's house and recognized that the thermostat needed to be replaced. Very grateful for his expertise. Thank you

Everything went very well. He was on time. Replaced broken part and did an overall great job.

They were not very good at explaining what was wrong and why it was $1600.

The service tech was proficient and helped us find the cheapest part available. Unfortunately the actual problem was not properly addressed in the first visit, but was done so in a follow up as soon as the part was available. The invoicing was incorrect the first time I received it as well, but a quick call to the office resolved it.

I paid the fee for the check, which I was fine to do. However tech recommended new coils for $1800, and charged approx. $125 for each pound of Freon. Cost was excessive without finding where the leak was occurring. In the end I only got a temporary fix.

He was very professional, knowledgeable and informative. He wore shoe covers, anything he moved he put back into place, even put the window blinds in the same position we normally keep them. Bill demonstrated what he was going to do before starting. Upon leaving he gave some recommendations and cleaning regarding traffic pattern in our house (hardwood floors, vs carpeted areas)

The technician cleaned the unit and recommended the necessary steps to improve the performance.

It was fine for what it was. I don't know how to measure how sanitary it was, he didn't really sanitize everything, the technique might be better but for what they did they did it well.

Technician was punctual, friendly and efficient. I look forward to using this servicer again in the future. I noticed he used my garden hose to clean the coils. None of the other service techs I've used in the past ever did this, but it makes sense. I can see where the unit would work better when clean and wondered why none of the other servicers ever did this simple task? Very happy with the service!
