Overall: if given second chance would make same choice. The project went very well from the beginning. Patrick is very professional Project Manager and acts as such not trying to be a used car salesman. He helped me to find the right balance between comfort and quality and the budget. All the heavy lifting (in all senses) was done by Martin and Ramsey. They came on time, about 8:30 and were done with both systems around 4 PM. From homeowner perspective everything was perfect - no damages, no dirt or garbage left. As a DYI person with a lot of electrical and plumbing experience I was very satisfied with this part as well - very neat and professional job. Refrigerant pipes for the heat pump were brazed properly and R-22 -> R-410 pipe cleanup was done properly as well. Oh, and WiFi thermostats installation/configuration was very smooth. And Kyle did the final tuning.Upstairs system was making vibrating noise in the register area and Ramsey and Martin tried to mitigate it wit rubber pads but it didn't help. When Kyle came he immediately diagnosed it as air velocity problem. After adjusting the airflow the problem gone and by the end of the day I had beautiful replacement of my old AC systems. Bottom line: Air Experts is not just a company with a good name but also great individuals working as a team. I will definitely recommend this company to a friend.

Found the leakage and refill the Freon. Heat pump is working properly now.

Great. Two things really impressed us: 1. when our ac was out and the house was getting stifling, they called to let me know that they could come a day earlier due to some time that freed up for the technician. Yes please! 2. When a motor and needed replacing, they promptly located the part in Raleigh, went to get it, and installed it same day. We will definitely call them first!

The technician arrived on time (a little early, actually), and did the job quickly and thoroughly. No complaints!

Overall the service was great. That said, one overriding issue made the experience less than stellar. The problem was diagnosed as a faulty "dual run capacitor". The cost for that item was $233. After the service call, I researched and purchased the exact same capacitor for $17 (should it ever fail again). I don't mind and fully expect there to be a reasonable markup on parts, but this is ridiculous and unconscionable.

Shannon Hightower arrived to do the annual maintenance on my central air conditioning unit. As soon as we opened the closet door housing the inside unit and water heater, we found water in the overflow pan. He found the unit was no longer level. This was probable due to water heater replacement last year. He added a brace to straighten the unit and a device to replace the pan. This cost a little more than usual but worth the money.

Air experts found a worn out capacitor and replaced it for $125. Blower is working perfectly 3 months later.

They come out every six months. We're under contract, but we're not paying them anything.

The technician who came to our house was very nice, knowledgeable, identified a part that needed replacing and was able to perform the work during her visit. We also signed up for an annual maintainance plan. We hope we are lucky enough to have her for our next inspection.

They didn't replace condensate line to outside and it split and flooded the upstairs room. Did nothing to help resolve the issue. Very disappointing, will not use again

Balance the AC. Check the pressure and HAVC.

They were excellent. They were very professional, very clean, they came on time, and they did the work. I am very pleased. I haven't had an issue with them at all. Honestly, I find them to be extremely honest. I have used them when I first moved in. I had them check on an issue I was having at the time. They gave me their honest feedback and really had to make no fixes at that time. When I did have a problem, I called them again and they came out. I found them very fair. I don't the pricing in the area. I did some research because I had to have 2 units replaced. The first one was obviously pricier. They gave me a better deal for the second one, but I found it pricey. I don't know if that is typical of the area. I don't know if they consider that an average price of the area because I needed it replaced right away, so I didn't do a lot of looking around.

Everything went well. Chris came out and checked our units and alerted us to a bad Freon leak. My only issue is that the fine print doesn't state that the R-22 refrigerant was not included in the promo.

They told me two of the three furnaces had to be replaced because of a crack in heat exchanger. He said it would be dangerous to run them like that. He said by law he should make me shut the system off but he was not going to do that. He scared me. I had two other heating and air conditioning technicians come out and look at the furnaces. Both of them said they were fine. The water leak was from condensation not a cracked heat exchanger. I called Air Experts and told them what the other technicians said and asked them to come back out and clean the two furnaces they did not clean. He said he already cleaned them. They tried to get me to replace two furnaces that did not need to be replaced. They are still working fine.

Air Experts show up on time and got the unit installed and working within a few hours.

Overall, everything was great. Had a minor panic when we found that the new system was much bigger than the old one, but the guys that did the install were awesome and were able to make it all work, even with the space limitations. From the check up, to getting price quotes, and then the installation, everyone was courteous and professional. Very happy with my new system and the service I received from Air Experts Heating & Cooling.
