Air Experts Heating & Cooling

We just moved into our first house, so we had a lot of questions. The technician was very patient with us and explained the issue, our options for solutions, and tips on how to maintain the system. We were pleased with the service.

I had a positive experience with them. We got a maintenance agreement with them to come out. I would use them again. It is good service at a very reasonable price.

My lawn guy, of all people, discovered some issues. Because I needed more than one pound of refrigerant, that was the additional cost. It was fine. The guy came. He was on time. He was a personable individual. There was stuff they missed that they should not have missed. I don't know, maybe because it was a hot day. When I look at what my lawn guy discovered, I don't think I would use them again. I would suggest if someone uses them, they would follow up on what they do and make sure the work is to the home owner's satisfaction. The guy was nice, it's just that he missed some significant stuff.

Overall pleased with the job done by Air Experts. Sales experience was positive, straightforward and no sales pressure. Pricing competitive, installation professional and timely. There were some immediate issues, probably resulting from a factory induced issue. It did take several service calls to resolve, and two different technicians, but they were persistent and after 3 visits found the root problem. Fortunately, the unit was functional for the 2 weeks it took them to resolve the problem. Even with this issue, an overall positive experience. I never felt like I was chasing them and they made no attempt to bill me until the problem was fully resolved.

They seem fine. We had them install an new system, and install circuit breakers. We have used them quite frequently. They have been quite professional. I don't know what other companies would charge. They topped up the coolant, and checked everything else out. I think $140 was an reasonable price.

The technician was nice however he broke the fan/motor to my unit when attempting to check the temperature. He was honest and apologetic for his mistake. This will render my sunroom inhabitable for at least 2 weeks. The technician notified his higher ups and parts were ordered with plan to repair unit once they arrive. My negative experience with this company has been dealing with the general manager in response to their breaking my unit. I am currently waiting for the unit to be repaired so can't comment on this portion until then. I will say that the AC went out in my entire house. It's ashamed that this company lost out on my business as a customer who would've bought 2 brand new units from them due to the way their management responded to my issue brought on by their mistake!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND USE OF THIS COMPANY!

Excellent company to work with and I would not hesitate to contact them to replace my upstairs unit in the future.

I recently asked for recommendations for air duct cleaning. I went to Angie's list and found Air Experts out of Raleigh. Bill C was the technician. I found Bill to be on time, very professional, and did a thorough job. I will let the photos demonstrate the value of the cleaning. I can tell you that we are breathing much easier today! I absolutely recommend Air Experts heating and cooling 910-890-7789. Ask for Bill.

After scheduling, the technician came out and determined the lower floor system had less than 10% coolant. He was able transfer coolant from the other unit to get some cold air running on the first floor (where the bedroom is) until the systems could be replaced. The estimator went over the house and determined the original systems were sized correctly but were no longer viable. After going through the options presented, we decided on replacing them with high efficiency units for both the heating and cooling, updating the venting as well. The installers were prompt, courteous and efficient. A new flue system had to be installed due to changes in the equipment and restrictions in the crawl space. We are very pleased with the results!

The repairman was punctual and explained our problem well. Unfortunately, we had to replace our a/c, but they sent a person to give us a quote the next day. He didn't pressure me to buy the higher end models, and I appreciated that. Their prices were fair. They were there to replace it the following day and they did a great job. Punctual, respectful, made sure they didn't mess up my house (laid tarp down on floor). Great job--really liked them; will hire them again.

Your response was incredibly fast and the technician came the very same day that I submitted our request! Chris C was very helpful & gave us the second opinion we needed. He also provided us with an estimate of the work he suggested we do to take care of the problem with mold in our A/C coil chamber. So, I've now arranged for Air Experts to come and install a UV sanitizing light this week! Thank you! One improvement I would suggest is that you become NADCA certified. After reviewing Chris's recommendation, we decided to have our air ducts cleaned & sanitized. But we went with another company because you are not certified and all of the online forums said to be sure to check for this certification before hiring someone to clean the air ducts.

The worker was here on time and was very nice but I checked the content of the bag and it was almost empty and I'm not sure if the machine did a good job or not as I am sure that my ducts were dirty (cats and dogs and a very dusty house)

They were prompt in providing an estimate and scheduling the job. They showed up on time and did the installation. The price was competitive. The only issue was that the county inspector failed the job due to the placement of the breaker switch. They returned and corrected this in a timely manner.

We had new HVAC systems installed this past week (Lennox XC20 AC with SL280 furnace) and could not be more pleased. The entire process went without a hitch. Patrick handled the selling and was very informative, professional, thorough, and timely in his communications. Sean and Robert handled the installation very efficiently, installing our units in less than 7 hours. They were very neat and courteous. This is our first experience with Air Experts and I highly recommend them. Plus the variable speed Lennox unit is as quiet as a mouse while keeping our home cooled in a very consistent manner without all the extremes of temps we saw with our old single-stage units.

The office team that scheduled me a last minute appointment on a Saturday was kind and helpful. A fair price and a job well done. I am also very thankful that the team was not pushy. Previous service providers giving estimates, one in particular (Service Experts) were too aggressive in touting their company as THE best and only real choice. Air Experts gave quality service and solid answers to questions, and that beats the "sales pitch" every time.

I purchased a air duct and vent cleaning offering in a recent Angie's List special. I received a call the morning of my appointment to confirm the time that the technician would arrive. He was prompt, professional and cleaned up after servicing each air vent. Great service and I would use them again.
