Excellent service call! David, the service technician showed up on time and was very professional in explaining what he was going to check for and why. He checked everything out and found that a part was about to go bad and showed me why. Without pressuring me he suggested that it be replaced or we can just keep an eye on it and replace later in the future. Since he had the part in stock on the truck I had him replace it. David was very friendly and was one of the best service call experiences I have had. I will definitely use Air Experts Heating and Cooling in the future.

Went well. Prompt, curteous service. Vents appear to be much cleaner. Serviceman was particularly careful to protect new floors from damage from his equipment (much appreciated.)

Not as thorough as other companies I've seen. I don't believe they cleaned the A/C inside coils, where other companies I've hired before did.

Dishonest technicians. I called Air Experts to service my upstairs Heat Pump in spring of 2017. It was not heating. The technician told me it was low on R22 and recommended replacement due to R22 freon is no longer produced, very expensive etc. He convinced me to have sales quote. I followed through. Sales quote was over 6k for 1.5 ton unit and I need 2. I was told that since I have a leak they can't guarantee that replacement would correct problem as it could be in the lines. I was told I needed to have leak search done which was around $300 minimum. I called to schedule and was sold their Gold Maintenance for $300 instead because it included the basic leak search along with maintence contract and some service discounts. The original tech was dispatched again to do the leak searches. He told me both of my systems (upstairs and downstairs) are leaking freon at the coil and need to be replaced. The systems have been in service only 6 years, but are 10 years old ( house was empty 4 years ). Cost to replace coils was $3,500. I decided to just add freon upstairs for the time being. Tech was very upset and said he didn't recommend that. He then claimed he added 3 lbs of freon to upstairs and 2 downstairs and charged me another $600 on top of the $300 I already paid. Now we come to the 2017 fall maintenance that was part of my service contract. Everything has been working fine all summer. No issues with cooling. The company calls to schedule me for maintenance. Tech doesn't show up and I call to complain. They reschedule me. Tech shows up, puts meter on my equipment that has been operating fine. Comes in, sits in my chair with concerned look, and tells my compressor is gone and needs to be replaced. He says because I didn't do what they recommended to replace the leaking coils my compressor has blown. I tell him it was working fine. He tells me my upstairs cooling has been cooling the downstairs because I had an open loft. Mind you, my upstairs was set at 75 and my downstairs at 73. How can upstairs at 75 cool the downstairs to 73? I say ok, and he leaves. I assume he just did his maintence and everything is the same. But NO, he leaves and now my downstairs air conditioning no longer works. It is no longer cooling. It is 77 downstairs and running constantly. I call the company in a rage because system that was cooling fine when he arrived for maintenance no longer works. They sent out anther tech next day. He says my compressor is fine but I am low on freon and supposedly pumps another 2 lbs into downstairs unit and charges me another $185. I have now put 4 lbs of freon into a system that had no problem when I first called this company. The upstairs unit which had the original issue is running fine. I know I obviously have leaks and will need to replace these with units eventually. This company is only concerned with selling me new units. I also believe that they have done something to my downstairs system to sabotage it. The original tech who did the leak search immediately found the leak upstairs, as I had expected. He took a long time before also finding a leak in the downstairs which was previously working fine. Now my downstairs is leaking freon much more than upstairs which makes me believe he punched a hole in it. I had another company come out to check it and they immediately found a strong leak. Bottom line is I no longer trust this company to be honest.

You forget how important a dryer vent cleaning is until someone shows you the disgusting stuff that comes out of there! Air Experts gave me a two-hour window and the technician arrived well within it. He explained what he was going to do and then did the work quickly and professionally. Completely happy with the service provided by Air Experts.

Professional .. No mess..did not waste time..will hire again

I have a maintenance contract with them. I probably would not use this service provider again. I bought a brand new hvac from them and the in the first year it broke and they came out and they had to replace a part. They made you have a service agreement to do that. If I got to buy a new one and it broke within the first year, that's a little upsetting. I would tell my friends and family that I like the hvac but it has broken twice.

Called to make an appointment for a coupon through Angie's list. When the tech arrived he was rude and claimed that this was a repair order attempting to charge a diagnostic fee for a unit that was working. I just wanted an inspection. The rep was rude and seemed happy to finish the day early. Will not use this company again.

They were in and out. They came in a prompt way. They didn't give any problems with scheduling. They didn't leave me freeze to death or anything like that. Got it done and over with and got me running.

This is regarding a service call made August 10, 2017 to determine the source of rust seeping from the inside of the $7,000 Rheem HAVC unit I purchased from Air Experts less than a year ago and a follow-up repair call on September 8. During the service call on August 10, the technician said that nothing could be done to stop the rust. The general manager did not notify me of his follow-up with Rheem Manufacturing Company after the service call on August 10 until I contacted him by email on September 6. (I contacted him when I learned from the scheduling staff that Air Experts wanted to replace the unit door.) He ended his return response with "there is nothing more I can do," when this was the first I had heard of him doing anything. I am very disappointed with his lack of communication with me following the service call on August 10. Today, a technician arrived for the repair call. The door was to be replaced, according to the general manager’s email message, with one that would have "more insulation on it and will help eliminate the condensation issue which is causing the surface rust." What the service technician delivered was a part with no insulation, identical to what is currently on the unit. He called the general manager and the general manager told the technician to tell me to contact Rheem myself. I am truly disappointed that Air Experts would allow such poor customer service. I contacted the owner of Air Experts by email this morning to forward the correspondence from the general manager and update him on the repair call made today. Air Experts needs to follow through with delivering and installing the door with more insulation, as promised.

It went well he reduced the price for me and was very professional and understanding
