Description of Work: The initial job they did in our backyard was great. Then they were going to do more landscaping work but never showed up. I called and texted numerous times but they would not respond. Very poor communication. If they were too busy to do our work just tell us. Would not use them again.

Description of Work: Was supposed to spread 33yds mulc, 3" deep throughout designated gardens. Front gardens were fine. Side and rear gardens not so good. Some areas to be cleaned up before spreading mulch were not. Last year's growth was simply buried. Also, so ground hugging evergreens were also covered. Side and rear gardens were not mulched to 3 inches as paid for. Didn't feel like I got my money's worth.

After couple of calls Dave came to survey the yard. A few days later, Dave and his crew came back and completed the task without any mess and good cleanup. I was pleased with the results and will use them again.

 + 1 morePurchased a great price for mulch! In talking further with both Dave and Neffer, I found I needed more mulch than I had realized. They both discussed additional cost right away and the overall additional expense seemed very reasonable. The weather had been a factor since beginning of January and both kept me up to date on their need to push out the work due to the rain. One sunny day, I got the call from Dave and the crew was on site. My areas around the house needed new mulch and this group did a FANTASTIC JOB! I would hire this company to work for me again! I'm so please with how professional both Dave and Neffer were given the weather constraints.

 + 2 moreIt was a 3 day job that was spread over a 2 week period since we had to wait on markings from the city before stump grinding and we had Thanksgiving holidays. I was glad for the delay since that gave me time to research, locate and purchase my new shrubs, trees and plants. Their price did not include the purchase of shrubs, plants and trees. I bought my own. Their price did include a thick layer of mulch and planting soil. I placed the plants where I wanted them and they did all the work. Since I am a type A personality, I did stay in the yard with them all day during the actual planting of the new shrubs to make sure that everything was put precisely where I wanted it. They were very courteous and didn't mind me moving things around and making suggestions throughout the planting process. As a last minute idea, I even saved the monkey grass that was pulled up in the front yard and then the Total Renovations team re-planted it all in the back yard without grumbling or charging more. My yard looks great.
Description of Work: Removed existing shrubs in front yard. Stump Grinding for 4 trees. Pruned 2 large trees. Planted over 60 new shrubs and plants. Provided dirt & mulch. Cleaned up after job was finished.

Description of Work: Awesome job cleaning up our backyard area that had tons of brush and weeds. They removed all, created nice edging and put down mulch. They were so professional. Had great employees and were very prompt.
