Description of Work: They landscaped my yard beautifully. They took up straw and put down very nice mulch. He went above and beyond and did extra touches. He also cleaned up after himself. He is very professional & personable. They are the total package and I would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: We bought the big deal for 100 linear feet of edging and 550 sq ft of mulch. I called Total Yard Renovations on April 8th, requested cedar or cypress mulch and was willing to pay extra. They offer only hardwood mulch. I accepted the hardwood mulch and scheduled the work to be done on Thursday April 23rd, as this was the first date they were able to come. They were supposed to call on Wed, April 22nd to let me know when on the 23rd they would be arriving. No call. My husband waited at home all day on Thursday and no one came or called. I called them on Thursday evening to find out why they had not called NOR done the scheduled work. They called me back on Friday morning and stated that they were "behind due to weather." I let them know that my husband was not willing to take more time off of work and would be attending activities with our children over the weekend (while I was out of town on business), but would be available on Friday afternoon. NO one came or called on Friday afternoon. On Saturday afternoon, Total Yard Renovations called by husband stating that they'd be at our home in 15 minutes. My husband pulled our children out of the activity they were in and raced back home. Total Yard Renovations then told him that they were "only there to measure and wouldn't have the mulch for 2-3 weeks." ARE YOU KIDDING?????? It was a defined amount of mulch when we bought the big deal!!!!! At this point, after scheduling with them on April 8th and still without mulch or returned money on April 27th, we cancelled the big deal and had our money refunded!! We called Lanier Materials and had brown cypress mulch delivered the next day on Tuesday April 28th!!

Description of Work: Total Yard Renovations installed 14 yards of mulch around my entire yard and edged approximately 50 feet of flower beds. They did a very good job overall. They did cover a few annual flower plants that needed to be uncovered and mulch was thin in a few spots but very minor issues.

Description of Work: I can't rate Total Yard Renovations because they sub-contracted the job. The overall rating for the subcontractor is C. The advertised price for what was contracted for is an A. However, I don't believe I received what I contracted for. I contracted for 5 yards of mulch and 100 feet of deep edging. I believe I only received approximately 3 yards of mulch and 41 feet of deep edging. The quality of the job is an A. The responsiveness is D for the subcontractor. They miss the first appointment completely and showed up at 11:30am on the second date promised. A time was not discussed. I rate the professionalism of the subcontractor a C. I took a photo of the subcontractors trailer upon departure to demonstrate what I received, unfortunately I can't add it to these comments. I will be happy to provide the photo and/or discuss this transaction further. Angie's list has my contact information. Thank you. |

Description of Work: They do not have the color of mulch that I am have in my yard right now. $165 for 5 Cubic Yards of Mulch and 100 Linear Feet of Deep Edging.
