Sal came to our house and gave us an estimate. We went and picked out the tile and grout and he picked it out from a place he suggested. The first day he put the tile in place and then he came back the next morning to do the grout. He did everything he promised, showed up on time, did a great job, and was a pleasure to work with.

Sal did a great job. His work is beautiful. He was very nice and easy to work with through the entire process.

Very good, Sal showed up when he said he would and worked hard around thunderstorms etc. He also gave me valuable tips about issues with outdoor tile jobs. He ground down high spots on the concrete patio before laying the tiles and cut each piece of tile along the "expansion joint stress cuts" in the patio, used special grout for all of the expansion joints. Finished on time. Definitely would use him again for interior or exterior tile jobs.

Sal went above and beyond! He was there when he said he would be and was always available to get a hold of with my many questions at a moments notice. I can't say enough wonderful things about him. His price was fantastic compared to the other quotes I received. My back splash was finished right on time and he was very flexible with anything I asked of him. Beautiful results! Very professional and always left things cleaned up! I highly recommend Sal and Stonecraft!

Sal quoted the job after doing a thorough measurement of our kitchen and gave us a list of the materials needed- which turned out to be very accurate. We were put on his schedule for a couple of weeks out because I was having the kitchen floor reinforced. Sal is very much in demand but well worth waiting for. He has a amazing eye for detail as shown when he brought it to my attention that some of the 18" tile were not dimensional the same as most of the other tile- when I measured the offending tile , I found them to be about 1/32" smaller. Sal only would use those tile under the stove, refrigerator and dishwasher because he said the grout lines would be off. We had the floor tiles installed diagonally and they look perfect! We had to wait for the granite counter tops to be installed before Sal could come back and install the subway tile and decorative glass trim pieces on the back splash. He kept us informed on his schedule and worked with us to get the job done- he is much in demand so expect a wait - BUT do yourself a favor and do wait because you won't get anyone to do a better job. He kept the area clean and made sure to cleanup everything when he left. As another benefit, Sal can put you in contact with another company that can install Granite counter tops much cheaper than any of the name brand stores. We are going to get Sal back to install tile in our two bathrooms - our third bathroom already has tile installed by my wife and I and even though we did a decent job that took a week, for the price and quality, you can't beat Sal.

Overall, it may have taken Sal a bit longer to do the work but that was our fault not his. We made some alterations during the work and Sal graciously made the requested changes. He is a gentleman.

Sal and his son did beautiful work on this project. They are professional, thorough, and meticulous about their work. They cleaned up their work space after each day on the job. Sal clearly takes pride in his work, and it shows in the end result.

Sal installed glass subway tiles in our kitchen after new granite was put in. I've been told by several people that glass subway tile is very tricky and you need to make sure the person doing it knows what they are doing. Well, Sal knows what he's doing. The tile is absolutely beautiful. The cuts were perfect and the grouting job was great. And on top of that, Sal was always very punctual and responsive during the time we were having him give us estimates and calling me back when I had questions. It was a great experience.

I have worked with Sal before on another tile job and I usually get 3 quotes but this time I skipped all that and only had Sal quote the job. I knew he was the best; I like his work and I like him as a person. He is very professional, humble, and considerate. He gets the job done perfectly and is very proud of his work.

Sal did a great job tiling the backsplash in our kitchen. It has turned out great. Sal is not just a tile man, he is an artist. He is a craftsman. Several times in the process of my wife and I being clueless in learning our way through the kitchen remodeling experience Sal would say, if it makes you happy I'll do it for you. Sal is very sincere in saying this. We had a lot of anxiety about just how the tile would look. With Sal's help we nailed it. He and his son were here all day starting and finishing there job. He's funny too, and he and is son work so well together. They were so polite. They were a pleasure to have over for the day. It's beautiful! I could go on...

We had new countertops installed in our kitchen and wanted to add a new backsplash. After viewing Angies List we interviewed three installers. We chose Sal due to his experience, pictures of the work he performed, his pricing, and we just felt very "comfortable" talking with him. He spent a good part of a whole day working on the backsplash and returned a few days later to seal the stone. The work is beautiful and he is a true artisan. I would never hesitate to contact him in the future should we have additional stone/ tile work.

Stonecraft was recommended to me by the company that installed my granite countertops. It was the best recommendation I could have received! Sal called me soon after I contacted him, and came over to the house one evening to measure the space and give me an estimate. He brought with him a laptop with an incredible number of photos from kitchen jobs he had previously done for clients. I was uncertain about what I wanted, but looking at the photos and discussing the options with Sal helped me quickly come to a decision on the perfect design and type of tile for the backsplash. His quote was incredibly reasonable for the work being done. When I went to pick the tile out from the tile company, the design consultant told me how much they liked working with Sal, and he had the most competitive quotes of anyone. His vendors are very experienced and easy to work with in selecting the tile for the job. The day of installation went perfect. Sal came right at the time he told me, and the work was absolutely beautiful, even better than I imagined. He is a true perfectionist.....every tile and grout line had to be perfect before he would move to the next section. I have already talked with Sal about doing some more work at the house. After this experience, I would not go anywhere else!!

Everything went well. He is prompt, fair, and trust-worthy. He does excellent work. We have been happy with him and will continue to use him for future projects.

Sal did an excellent job and I would recommend him to anyone that needs tile work. He is a craftsman with tile and he works as if it is his own house. Sal and his co-worker were always on time and he did all of the work himself, except for the plumbing. The plumber, Israel Rodriguez, who Sal suggested that I used also did an excellent job at a fair price. I was so pleased with Sal's work that I am going to hire him again to lay tile in two smaller bathrooms. If you are hunting around on Angies List, like I was, and feel overwhelmed at number of tile contractors out there then you should stop and hire Sal. I got quotes from three different contractors and did not really connect with any of them except for Sal. The others tried to sell me on their product or their expertise and did not really try to meet my needs. Sal was different and listened to what I was looking for and gave me specific ideas and did not try to sell me. He knows the tile business very well and I am sure that he can tackle any tile job.

Sal worked with me to do a Saturday install which greatly helped my schedule. He and his son Tony did a great job installing my backsplash. They took time to protect my floors and counter and cleaned up well. I plan on using them again.

Sal is an old world craftsman, he is meticulous and precise. But more than that he is an artist with tile! Even the other workmen at the house came in to see how Sal matched the tiles in a corner that changed direction three times, and which he cut and matched and WOW ! ! This was a painstaking process and he was humming the whole time...... He laid out the frame over the cook top and it turned out just like something out of a magazine! Trust that no matter what accolades I heap on him that will not do his work justice, I am just so grateful i was able to have him do my back splash...it really made the kitchen!

Sal met with us to review the projects, provided examples of his work, discussed our options and put us in touch with tiles sources. He then installed the work in our home. He was always on time, on budget and thoroughly communicated throughout the project. He is outstanding and his work is beautiful.

Sal did an excellent job! He was quick to get me an estimate and worked me in when my tile arrived. The job looks as if the whole project was done at the same time and not just a partial update. He was very helpful with my choices and where to go for matches for my current tiles. I will definately use him again for futture projects.

His knowledge of his craft provides him the ability to plan and avoid costly waste or mistakes. His patience and willingness to answer my questions about his work and working process gave my wife and I a sense of confidence while he was in our house. He was upfront about pricing and the costs for additional design changes. At the end of the day I must say that he's one of the kindest contractors I have ever worked with and his end results are fantastic.
