Sal did a great job. He removed an unused spa tub and replaced it with a huge two position shower. On time, on budget, outstanding work.

Sal did a wonderful job of taking out all of the old tile and putting in new tile for walls and floor. We had a poorly grouted shower before. Sal beat many prices and did a wonderful job. We would hire again.

Stonecraft created our dream bathroom. The old bathroom was gutted to the studs and a new bathroom created. In my opinion, Stonecraft used the best professional artisans around. From tile work, lighting, plumbing and cabinetry we are impressed with what they accomplished Not only were they top notched professionals but very respectful, pleasant and helpful. We highly recommend Stonecraft. Prices were very reasonable and lower than other quotes received. We are quite pleased with our new master bathroom.

In total I spoke with four contractors. When you work, scheduling is difficult - so this process took some time. When Sal came he was thorough, professional and informative. His on the spot estimate included a diagram and two alternatives for fixing the sheetrock where the previous tile had been removed. The sheetrock was heavily damaged and Sal said I could fix it or replace it. He gave me two estimates. I was impressed with his expertise and thoroughness - he actually walked me around the kitchen and pressed on the sheetrock to show me how flimsy it had become. After careful consideration, I decided to go with Stonecraft. We had received previous estimates of $2500, $1500 and $1000 - none of which included the replacement of the sheetrock. We opted to go with Stonecraft at $1600 - which included replacing the sheetrock. When his crew removed the sheetrock we found out that the previous owner had not attached any electrical outlets to beams - they were floating in the wall. Sal attached them at no extra charge. The sheetrock was replaced and then Sal worked with me to schedule the tile installation on a weekend so I did not have to take a day off. The tile installation was done by Javier - it is amazing. We ran tumbled marble in a brick or subway pattern around the kitchen and over the stove installed a framed herringbone pattern. It looks AMAZING! And I couldn't be happier. No money was asked for up front. We paid in two installments, once after the original sheetrock was taken down and the new sheetrock installed, and then again after the job was complete. Throughout the entire process Sal carefully protected my counter tops which are also marble. They sustained no damage. I heartily recommend Stonecraft and will definitely use them again when I redo my bathrooms.

Everything went well. Sal picked up the tile I'd chosen and arrived on time to do the work. He completed the backsplash in one day, and the whole area was clean when he left. I'd used Sal earlier for tile demolition and installation in a prior home. I was always pleased with his work then, and I'm happy now with my new tile backsplash.

We needed to renovate our master bath. Sal and his men are true professionals. From demolition to the finished product everything went smoothly. He came promptly to give an estimate and made suggestions to help us decide where to purchase tile. A garden tub needed to be removed and the shower extended. New plumbing was needed along with new shower and floor tile. A frameless, doorless enclosure was added. A new vanity, linen cabinet and granite countertop were replaced, as were all hardware and lighting, Sal's tile work is creative and impeccable. It is simply beautiful. His team are superior craftsmen. The cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend Sal and his team at Stonecraft .

They did a great job! The only ding in the process is that they left some mess in the backyard when they had finished the job that took me a bit to clean up.

Sal and his tradesman are two of the best contractors I have worked with. They were professional and very knowledgeable and had great suggestions on the best way to approach the project. Sal was professional from start to finish, providing a careful estimate and following up to schedule the work, arriving on time and completing the project over 2 and 1/2 days. The fireplace and floor work both look great.

Sal and his crew were fantastic. First of all Sal is a very respectable humble caring owner. He is honest and his crew actually show up when they say they will. The remodel is honestly better than we could have thought and we are incredibly pleased and will be using Stonecraft again for a smaller bathroom and kitchen floor remodel. For work quality,price and honesty we could not have hoped for better. Matter of fact we were so impressed with his teams work we also asked them to do some small things we needed done around the house. You will not be disappointed with Sal or Stonecraft. As an additional note our scope of project changed as we were in the middle of the project adding an additional shower head and they had no problems incorporating it into our plans. Truly professional from A-Z. After the work was done he even sent in a cleaning crew to make the new bath sparkle and also to clean the Master bedroom which became dusty during construction. Like I mentioned previously a true professional and class act!

During April and May 2017, my wife and I allowed 3 Angie's List contractors to bid on this job, before ultimately settling on Stonecrafters / Sal. He provided a written bid that did not try to upsell the job and was just for what we wanted done - a less extensive remodel since we had already done all but the tub and shower ourselves. When we met with him and the other two contractors, we discussed availability, as most of the contractors in our market are very busy (some booked as much as 2-3 mos out). Sal indicated that he was booked approximately 3-4 weeks out. We told him we had been forced to place a special order for the replacement tub as it was not a common size/spec. The tub was a Kohler tub and was expected to be delivered between June 17th and June 26th (a long factory turn around, but we got the same story from at least 4 retail/wholesaler sources who said this was common for special orders). He said this was no problem and recommended that we contact him when we got the final delivery date to get on his schedule, as he had other obligations in the meantime. The warehouse messed up that order (contacted us to let us know they lost the order before the delivery date), but in better news, I found a replacement wholesale source that could/can have the tub delivered to my home in 7-10 business days. So we called Sal to get on his schedule per our earlier discussion. We did have some additional questions about bullnose tile vs another option (Schluter trim). Sal said on the phone the trim was harder to work with and would cost an extra $5/sf (60 linear feet so about $300, which I was okay with. We also weren't sure which option we wanted to go with). In discussing this, Sal said he needed to meet with us again, so we scheduled for him to come up today, July 5th, to meet with us. He did run late, but that wasn't my source of complaint. Instead, it was his attitude from the moment he showed up. We walked him into the bathroom and showed him the tile we had selected, so we could discuss the bull nose issue. We handed him his quote again, and instead of listening to us, he spent a minute or two staring at the page before interjecting that "this quote doesn't have a date. It must be old. I cannot do the work on this page for this price anymore." He then said he'd have to re-bid the original job (let me be clear about this - he wanted to rebid the original job, not a change order situation, though we were going to possibly change from bullnose to trim, we never got that far) for a higher cost. He apparently decided that he wasn't going to make enough profit off of us, which seems to have been similar to other recent complaints on AL about him. I told him I could not do business with someone who went back on his word, and he wouldn't budge. He left the house and now we are back to square one. What really angers me is that two other AL contractors bid on this job and we turned them down because Sal said he "could really save us some money" because he could "do it cheaper since he had done so many of these". It appears that this contractor is one that will low bid a job to win it and then change the price. In addition to the harm he did to us (we now have to start over, and will not get the project done before school starts which was our #1 goal since we will be down 1 bathroom for the duration and we have two kids), our cost is likely going to go up, and two other more honest competitors potentially lost out on business. A contractor with this type of behavior should not be a service award winner on Angie's List, and I hope that Angie's List removes him so no one else false victim to this type of shady practice. FWIW, My wife and I have the written quote and numerous text exchanges and other documentation to back up our complaint.

Sal arrived on time. He had another guy tile the floor. The other guy was professional and worked until the Job was complete. The tile guy did a good job. I think his name was Juan. I would use Sal again.

Sal is extremely professional and such a nice person! Sal and his crew were always on time and completed the project on schedule. The quality of work is outstanding. I will call him again for future projects.

Sal and his crew were perfessional and exceptional to work with. Sal came to our home for a consult to review the work and promptly gave us a quote. Day of the job, Sal and his crew arrived on time, did an amazing job and were very detailed. Additionally, we noticed a crack in the stone (which was a manufacture flaw) and Sal came back that evening to help repair the cracked stone. Our fireplace looks beautiful and we are so happy we found Stonecraft. We will call Sal again for any future jobs. Thank you!

Great, Sal and John showed up on time and completed the project when they said it was gonna be completed. They left the job spotless including the area where they did all the tile cutting. My granite counter tops were so clean after the install, there was nothing for my wife and I to deal with. I would do it again in a heartbeat. The job came out great

He was very honest, gentle, very knowledgeable, and was so incredible! Sal was correcting a issue with the first installation of the bathroom by prior contractor. He was so very talented and consulted with me "What I Wanted and What I envisioned ". He asked and discussed with me the design of my customer shower. Words can't express the gratitude to Sal for giving me a beautiful shower and bathroom. I think what impressed me the most was that he kept sending me back to find the perfect border tile for my shower. He was perfectionist. Quality is so very important to him. He wants the very best for you. My Master Bathroom is incredible!!! I asked him for his honest opinion about another issue that occurred with local home store. They damaged the concrete while removing the tile. Once again, Sal's process was so well thought out. Many trips back and forth till we found the perfect tile that would be adjoined to a Pergo Floor. It was a beautiful caramel mosaic tile. The spacing and the tile was so very perfect. It left me speechless! Next, we will be completing all work next week. I am looking so very forward to Sal completing my kitchen with a custom mosaic with penny tile in teal and brick pattern of white subway. Sal will always go the extra mile to make sure you are happy. I highly recommend him over and over. The finish product was so worth. His partner and Sal are true Artisans and Craftsman.
