Excellent response from initial phone call to actual repair. James, I think that was his name, was prompt and very professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly and took care of it. I called in the morning and they came that afternoon. They worked with me and called me 1/2 hour prior to arriving instead of giving you that annoying 4 hour window that most companies give. Great experience all around.

I called 123 Appliance Repair around 11am Saturday morning and left a message explaining my situation. With in 30 minutes of my call I cgot a call back from James, my service tech. He explained to me where he was and approximately what time he make it to my home. As he got closer and closer to making my service call he would call and let me know how much longer it would be until he got to me. By 1:00 he was at my front door. James was very friendly and easy to speak with in person. I explained to him what the machinw was and was not doing. He turned the washing machine on, listened to the sound it was making and then diagnosed the problem. He then told me it would be around $145.00. I agreed with his diagnosis and the price and he started working immediately. With in ten minutes he was done making the repair and testing the washer to make sure the repair was working correctly. He took my credit card information for payment, wrote me a receipt and then we chatted for almost 10 minutes about the latest Nascar news. Then he left. I found the overall experience excellent and will call 123 the next time I have a large appliance repair need.

The refrigerator in my daughter's house stopped working. Called 123 in the morning and they contacted the repairman who promptly called me back and scheduled to meet me in the afternoon. Although he was later than anticipated, he called to let me know he was going to be late. Came in and repaired the refrigerator in about 15 minutes. Had to replace a part which he had in his truck. Very professional, courteous and knowledgeable in what he was doing. Have recommended him to other friends and family.

On Thursday I noticed a 'burning' smell that seemed to be coming from my laundry cabinet, where I currently had a load going in the washing machine. The dryer had not yet been used so I knew it couldn't be the cause and therefore, assumed it had to be the washer. After researching new machines (and local laundromats), I sent an email request to '123 Appliance Repair' for a quote (on Superbowl Sunday, of all days!) and received a phone call from James less than 4 hours later. He asked questions as to make/model/series, age of appliance, last settings used, and whether I had used the appliance since the incident occurred (I had not). He explained that the washer would not be a fire hazard but that I should check the outlet into which it was plugged for any signs of an electrical problem. Barring any obvious electrical problem, he suggested that I run another load using towels and such, on the 'heavy duty' setting. I am happy to report that the 'burning' smell did not re-occur! I followed up with a phone call to James to report the good news. He called back in less than 15 minutes to thank me for my call! Needless to say, I am greatly appreciative of '123 Appliance Repair' and will recommend their business whenever I have the opportunity. They have a new faithful customer!

On the first visit, it was determined that we had an inadequate water supply problem which was a plumbing issue that they do not repair.We were just charged for the service call and proceeded to have a plumbing company fix that problem. Even though the water pressure was now adequate, the ice maker was not functioning properly. 123 was called back and resolved the problem. We were just charged for parts and labor for that visit and received a discount for advising them that we found them on Angie's List. We would certainly use them again for any appliance repair work and would highly recomend them to anyone looking for this type of assistance.

I call 123-Appliance Repair around 1 pm and my washer was back in service around 4:30 the same day. Couldn't have gone smoother. James diagnosed the problem when I spoke to him on the phone, told me how much the repair would run, and agreed to come out between 3 and 5 pm. He arrived on time, was pleasant and professional, had the replacement parts with him when he arrived, and fixed the washer.

Called them Friday morning. I spoke to a person who told me he would send a text message to James to call me. About 1/2 hour later, James called and arranged to come by the same day between 12 and 2. He arrived at 1, inspected the washer, and determined that it needed a new motor & control board, parts that are covered under Maytag's warranty.

I continue to use their service because they know what they are doing. They are quick, they respond, and their prices are very reasonable. I tell my tenants that if they ever have a small plumbing problem, they should just call 123 Appliance, use my name, and I?ll pay for it; I trust them that much.

The technician adjusted his schedule to accommodate our day and arrived less than an hour after our initial discussion. He was quick, knowledgeable and professional, in and out in less than 30 minutes. The company only gives free estimates over the phone, which wasn't clear from their profile on the Angie's List website, so they gave us a credit in addition to the member coupon we were able to use since there was confusion on that point. The work that was performed, combined with their commitment to customer service, exceeded my expectations and I will definitely use this company again.

The appointment time was changed at my request due to a conflict. James worked with me on the time. He was there when he said he would be and within 15 minutes had diagnosed the freezer problem as a defective relay. The oven problem was just loose wire. He was quick, knowledgeable and courteous. Both problems were repaired and he was gone in less than 1 hour.

Excellent service. Even on a Sunday. Took only 20 min. and they were right on time and had the part on the truck.

The fridge wasn't making ice... he came very quickly, was very knowledgeable. Had the necessary parts with him and was done within an hour.

We are very pleased with the service and would certainly have no hesitation in calling again.

I called on a Sunday and did not expect to get a live person answer, but I did. Within 5 minutes, I got a call back from the technician and he was at my house 30 minutes later. He just happened to be in the area. Although I stated that this was not an emergency and it could wait, he still came right over. James quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the part.

I think the guy was very responsible, very well informed and knew what he was doing. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly and repair it at minimal cost, where I thought I might have to get a new refrigerator.

My washing machine began leaking water. I called 123 Appliance, was greeted by a friendly representative who obtained necessary information from me and placed a dispatch to a technician. I was given a range of time when the technician would call and come to my home. The technician called in that range, and when he arrived and saw the machine and the location of the leak, quickly diagnosed that a new pump was needed. This was replaced in just a few minutes (the technician was an experienced one who formerly worked for Sears) and for a reasonable price. The technician was very friendly and courteous and even helped towel-dry the floor around the machine.

They called me back right away, scheduled to come out on the same day, arranged their schedule around mine, called ahead to say they would be here in about 20 minutes and showed up when they said they would. That's enough to put them head and shoulders above many repair companies, but it didn't stop there. James looked carefully at the icemaker plumbing and the refrigerator drain. The source of the problem was not readily apparent. Lots of people would have said "it's the drain pan. You need to replace it" and that would be that. $200 later and the problem would still be there. Not James. He had put the fridge back in place, tucked a towel underneath, and planned to come back tomorrow (no extra charge) to see which side of the towel was wet so we could find the source of the water. While we were cleaning up & writing the check and such, we heard the the icemaker fill. "Let me have a look", he said. He pulled the refridgerator out from the wall and sure enough -- a puddle of water. He quickly isolated the problem to a tube that had broken off at a valve inlet. He had it fixed in about five more minutes, and was on his way. I was very happy that he took the time to think about the problem instead of settling for the first solution that occurred to him and charging me for it. I wish all repair people were like James and 123 Appliance Repair.

The guy who came out was professional and timely. He was responsive and did the job correctly.

Called because dishwasher was not working, representative came out same day. The thermostat was broken, he had the part in his truck. He went ahead and replaced part while there. It only took about 30 minutes total. I was charged $50 additional for mileage (thought that was a little extreme since I live fairly close to the company). I would recommend company, but would warn that they are a little pricey.

We called 123 Appliance Repair based on the great reports posted here. We called in the morning and were told they could come out in the afternoon. We scheduled James to come out between 5 and 7 and he said he would call 30 minutes before he came. He called at 6:40 and got here at 7:10. He was able to figure out what was wrong within a few minutes and had the parts to fix the problem in his truck. He was done before 8 o'clock and did great work. He was very knowledgable, personable, and professional. The work was a little pricey but it was worth it.

I called 123 Appliance Repair based on this company's great reports. Don answered the phone and said he would have James give me a call shortly. James called within 5 minutes. I told him I suspected a bad thermostat in my fridge, and he said he would be at my home between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., and that he would call me about 30 minutes before arriving at my house to let me know that he was on his way. I was so glad that he could come that very day. James then called at 6:10 and said he would be at my house in 20 to 30 minutes. He arrived at 6:40 p.m. and was so very nice and personable. James went to work immediately removing the old thermostat and installing the new one. He was finished in about 30 to 40 minutes. I was so impressed with James as a person and as a service provider. He is now my "official" appliance service provider.

I left a message and did not get a return phone call until 3 hours later. I then am told they do not service LG washers and gave me a recommendation for someone else to call. I suggest they have these exclusions posted in their company profile to save time and frustration.

James came out and was extremely knowledgable and professional. He took the time to explain the issue to me in detail and showed me inside the machine where the problem was. It was one of the best experiences I have had with any service provider.

Very prompt. I enjoyed the man who came out and he was polite. The $50 charge was reasonable. I only have good things to say about them.
