123 APPLIANCE REPAIR

James is a godsend. He has been keeping our stoves and refrigerators working for over a decade now. He responds quickly, gives fair and accurate estimates and tells you up front if your problem or appliance is one he cannot address. My repair last week was completed within 2 hrs. of calling for help.

They got me scheduled quickly and let me know before they headed to my house. Job was done correctly although I thought it was overpriced for the effort required. All the technician did was remove the door panel for the ice maker and thaw some ice buildup by squirting hot water on it, and it was just under $200. Note that they charge a $65 "trip charge" that does NOT go toward any repair. Also, technician did the repair without furst asking me if I wanted him to proceed once the problem was identified.

It was a two-day process. Day one they came and diagnosed the issue and gave us instructions what we had to do. Day two they came and repaired. We had to leave the repairman in the house due to our work requirements. We were able to pay over the phone after the repair was completed, and gave the repairman instructions on how to lock the house.

Our tech was great. Friendly and efficient.

It was more expensive than preferred

James was wonderful. My stove was really not broken as I thought but set for Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. James figured it out and we had a good laugh.

123 Repair is great. No mater when I leave a message I get a return call the same day. I don't have to wait weeks or even too many days for an appointment. 123 is there 123. My techs were Mr James and Jermaine. Both of these men knowledgeable and friendly and the deserve their own 5 stars.

When our 30 month young refrigerator/freezer suddenly stopped working just before New Years day we went into a bit of a panic. We called 123 Appliance and Jimmy S was at our home the next day. Within 20 minutes he determined the main refrigerant system/compressor had died, and that a repair would cost $1200-1500; he advised us to have it repaired by the manufacturer since it was still under warranty. We had already logged a service call with the OEM but their earliest available appointment was 4 days. When the OEM tech finally did arrive he confirmed that Jimmy's assessment was spot on. It took almost 3 weeks total but we finally did get the unit repaired by the OEM, which was very difficult to work with. 123 Appliance is EXTREMELY easy to work with. The best way to contact them is to schedule a service call on their web site, and they will call you back in short order. Their base trip charge of $69 + tax is a bargain. (The OEM's trip charge is $110). I would not hesitate to call 123 Appliance in the future.

The company was responsive to our request for dishwasher repair. Though we decided to purchase a new one since we were approaching Christmas, the representative was responsive to our needs and did all he could to repair what was a no longer useable dishwasher.

Spoke with James on the phone and he was very knowledgeable about my problem, gave great advice that saved me quite a bit of money. While my need ended up not requiring his service, I will certainly call him in the event I do in the future all because of his honesty and transparency.

Fridge wasn’t making ice and water worked sporadically. Called and spoke with James. He set up the appointment immediately but never told me their minimum charges. The tech came and didn’t inform me of the charges. He was here for maybe 15 minutes. Removed a piece of ice that was jammed and charged $200. I called to discuss with owner. He was argumentative and hung up on me. He sent me a text and said “I hope you go to Heaven”. ?? I’ll be disputing the charges.

They answered my questions with knowledge and professionalism. And were very quick to return my call! Thank you, highly recommended!

James responded promptly to our inquiry, and was out the next day fixing the problem. He quickly identified the issue, and made the needed repair to our complete satisfaction. Highly recommend, and would definitely use again!

My appointment could not have gone better. Courtesy, on time, problem was quickly diagnosed and repaired, and left the area clean and orderly. Plan to continue 1 2 3 in the future and recommend to friends and family.

Our technician, Ron, arrived at the promised time and quickly diagnosed the problem: a malfunctioning and worn-out icemaker. He replaced it within a few minutes. We would definitely use 123 Appliance Repair again and recommend them.

These are absolutely the only guys to call when you need appliance repair. James and Ron provided some of the best service (dishwasher & fridge) we've received in Charlotte. Extremely responsive/punctual and knowledgeable. They clearly aim for nothing less than top notch customer service and work. FYI....There is another repair company in Charlotte called Appliance Repair 123.... they are NOT this company Be sure its 123 Appliance Repair.

After I had completed all troubleshooting, decided to leave it to a professional. James from 123 was knowledgeable and courteous. Quickly assessed the issue, which turned out to be unrelated to appliance (thankfully) as it turned out to be an electrical issue with the outlet.

I never leave reviews until this experience. Service man never showed for the appointment, never called to let me know he was not coming. waited 4 hours. I called them back 2 times to find out what was happening. When they finally called me back they acted like they had no idea who I was. I asked them to tell me why they didnt show up and they told me they dont have to explain themselves....What, really is that how you service your customers. I would not recommend to anyone.

Mr. James was very knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. He did a great job, and we would definitely call him again.

Someone texted me the same day as my request on Angi's List to ask for a photo of the model number and serial number for my refrigerator so that they could find out if they had the necessary part. Then Ron Salmond called me the day before to set up an appointment. He came right on time and was very personable and professional. He assessed the problem - the motor of the ice maker had died. He had the part in his truck and replaced the part. Now my ice maker is working great again! I would highly recommend Ron Salmond and 123 Appliance Repair.
