123 APPLIANCE REPAIR

Door latch on oven wouldn't retract - so we could not use oven - three days before Thanksgiving. Called in the AM, had appointment from 5-8 PM. Serviceman showed promptly, and was able to reset the latch. He went the extra mile of taking down the model number on the oven, telling us that if it stuck again he would be able to order and repair before Thanksgiving (if it fails by noon today).Very happy with the service. Only complaint - minor - is that the cost of $100 minus $10 for an Angie's list customer is a bit higher than I'd like - given that no new part was needed - it was purely trip charge and labor for about 20 minutes of work.Still - very happy overall as mentioned - and will certainly use them again when needed.

Our drink refrigerator was no longer chilling, called 123 Appliance Repair and he was able to be at the house the next day. The fix turned out to be a simple thermostat switch. He was very thorough in explaining what needed to be fixed and why.

James with 123 Appliance repair was responsive, informative and a real pleasure to deal with. After AA Appliance had missed the scheduled repair date and failed to return our calls, we called 123 Appliance Repair. James quickly assessed the problem over the phone, and coached me through how I could repair the washing machine myself. He then arranged to have a part in stock in case my repair didn't work. He followed up after two weeks and was cordial and helpful in each conversation.

He was running late and he came but didn't charge us anything. He let us know that he was going to be late. He was very nice and knew exactly what he was doing. I would use them again. I would refer them or recommend him for the service.

Used email service on company's website to submit service request evening of Thursday, James called next morning before 8:30 a.m. Explained problem to him and was told could be at house between 4 and 8 pm and would call when on his way. Called back around 4:30 p.m. saying on his way and we both ended up at my house at the same time. James came straight in and got to work, figuring out that the drum belt needed replacing as described above. Work done in a little less than 30 mins. James was very courteous and friendly. Will definitely call again in the future for service on other Kitchen Aid appliances (as sure will need to do since washer, dryer, stove and refrigerator all purchased around the same time about 8+ years ago). Would definitely recommend to family/friends.

James came out and replaced hinges for my Kitchen Aid oven door about a year ago. The hinges went bad after 4 months and came back and replaced them for free. Those hinges also went bad, third set in a year. James was great. First he helped me contact Whirlpool (maker of Kitchen Aid) and then got the part number so I could find out if were putting an updated part or the exact same part. He called a whirlpool technician to see what the story was. He called me back and had me call their customer service number, which another long story, but after much debate and getting to a supervisor they sent me updated hinges. James installed them for free also. I would say he went way above and beyond and I can tell you I will not have anyone else but James do appliance repair. He was absolutely awesome!

Pleasant, punctual, professional. Altogether a very good experience. The machine works fine now.

The technician called me back right away after I made contact with the office. He would've been able to come out the next morning, but he worked with me for my schedule. He was nice, and I told him if it cost too much, that I would just get a new dryer, he told me the cost would be within my budget. The repair went quickly.

I discovered one morning that my hd washer had a pool of water in it and I hadn't used the washer in about 3 days. I determined that since it was clean water, I didn't have a plumbing problem (what a relief). I placed a call to 123 Appliance around 12. The technician, Dean, called me back about 15 - 20 minutes later. I told him the problem, he said it sounds like the "fuel regulator" and he could come out later that day (between 4 and 8). He arrived around 6 - 7 and got right to work. It was indeed the fuel regulator and he replaced it and was done with everything in about 30 mins (actually, it seemed like less than that). Dean was very friendly and answered all my questions. The washer has worked perfectly ever since. If I have any other appliance problems, I'll be calling 123 Appliance Repair. I'm hoping to move to Florida soon and I wish I could move them with me. :-)

I called 123 Appliance because my dishwasher stopped working. I left a message Sunday night and I was told a technician would call me in the morning. Monday morning, I received a phone call. They asked me several questions and gave me some things to try. Sure enough, the problem was fixed without a service call. I was incredibly impressed with their response and help without a service call. They will certainly be the first people I call with any appliance issues.

This was a very good experience. I called 123 Appliance Repair around 11:00am and they were at my home that same day around 3:30pm to fix the washer. Within 1 minute of checking out the washer James knew exactly what the issue was. He made a slight adjustment (no parts needed) to the metal washer door arm and "vuala", washer works again. He even showed me how to fix it myself next time. James was personable, professional, and obviously good at his job. I will certainly be calling 123 Appliance Repair again for future needs.

Overall the work done was very good as the dryer is now working as well as it always has in the past. The genttleman who did the work was very competent and pleasant. GOOD JOB, WELL DONE!!!!

I had my refrigerator repaired 6 months ago by another company with a one year warranty. On a Sun. evening I noticed it was leaking because of the ice melting. I waited until Mon. and contacted the repair person. He made an appt. but never called or showed. He did this to me all week long (as I lived out of a cooler). By Fri. I gave up on them and contacted 123 at 5:00. To my surprise James said he would be there by 6:30 and he was. He showed me the shoddy work the other guy did, replaced the relay correctly, and had me up and running in no time. James was very professional and did a great job. I would have no problem recommending him to others.

I wanted to make sure that I report how AWESOME James is! I called 123 Appliance Repair Saturday after 3 p.m. to ask if James could come out to fix a dryer problem. I was told that it might be Monday before we heard from James because he was already off work. James called within the hour (even though he was technically not working). He talked me through some questions to see if he needed to come out to fix the dryer or if it was a clogged dryer vent/duct. It turned out that it was the dryer vent/duct. Most companies would have had someone come out and charge a service fee just to diagnose the problem. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate James at 123 Appliance Repair. He is "first class"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We woke up Saturday morning and found a lot of water under our refrigerator. It was not cold inside (huge mess!). We called 123 Appliance Repair and left a message. Someone called back quickly and told us James was out of town that he would call as soon as he returned on Monday. We were surprised when we received a message from James on Sunday. We called back and scheduled a time for the next day. James came exactly when he said he would and quickly repaired the refrigerator. He needed to replace the "mother board" - we were delighted when he told us the cost! James was knowledgeable, polite, clean and an overall VERY nice man! We highly recommend him and plan on using him for all our future needs!

James was extremely professional and polite. He repaired my refrigerator right away and even cleaned up the mess. I will call on him again for all of my appliance repair jobs in the future.

When my refrigerator went out unexpectedly, I came straight to Angie's List to find a reputable repair company. Since I'd recently had problems getting roofing companies to even return my call, I started with the first company that came up on the list which was 123 Appliance Repair. As I was on the AL site, I submitted an online inquiry to have a technician call me back and amazingly, as soon as I lifted my finger from the mouse button, my phone rang. I'm not kidding, the response was that fast! James, the service technician, was scheduled to come by to diagnose the issue. He arrived on time, was a very pleasant person to deal with and a master at fixing appliances. He diagnosed the issue quickly and made the very inexpensive repair. He also noted an issue with both doors, and fixed that too! I have this company on speed dial and so should you.

I have some VERY POSITIVE comments about James Smith of 123 Appliance Repair. Our dishwasher simply stopped working and I was troubleshooting it. I had it almost completely taken apart and could not find the problem. So, I called 123 Appliance Repair after getting their contact info from Angie's List. James Smith responded almost immediately to my phone message. We arranged for him to come out. In the meantime, James recommended an area of the washer for me to look into on my own. Following James' recommendation, I found the problem immediately and fixed it. I called James (I think he was on the way to my house) and told him that I'd fixed the problem. He thought that was great. I tried to offer him compensation for his time and his knowledge but he refused to accept anything. He said, "Just remember 123 Appliance Repair when you need some help in the future." Well, James, I sure will. And, I'll tell everyone I know about James and 123. Throughout all this, I spoke with James three times on the phone. Every time, he was polite, professional, helpful and...funny. Thank you, James. You are a very good man. When I first called 123 Appliance Repair and left a message, my call was not returned (hence the B grade). I called again two days later and was able to quickly make an appoinment for someone to come look at my gas stove which was not working. So, my message must have gotton lost somewhere. James was on time and very professional and friendly. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and fix it. I would love to use this company again in the future, but not for the $50 delivery charge/mileage fee that I was not made aware of when scheduling the appointment. I did appreciate that James gave me the $10 Angie's List discount with out me having to ask for it. My bill broke down as follows: Materials- $95 Labor- $60 Tax- $8 Del Charge/Milage- $50 Total- $203

Went very well Had a technician call me back in less than 10 minutes, probably less than 5. Was able to diagnose my problem over the phone so didnt need an actual service call but here was a chance for a less honest company to charge me $$$ which 123 Appliance did NOT do. I would definitely call 123 again in future.
