Called 3-7-12 and set an 8AM appointment for 3-12... provided make, model, & serial number of the refrigerator. Serviceman (James) arrived at 8:10 AM on Monday. Very neat, knowledgeable, careful. and thorough in performing the repair. Took about 40 minutes. Very satisfied with the professionalism of this Angie's List company. (Been a member for over a year, but this is the FIRST company used from Angie's List... after a number of "local " disappointments & bad recs from "friends".)

Went to Angies List for the first time for Appliance Repair service. After reviewing several companies, I selected, 123 Appliance Repair. Emailed them my problem and was contacted by James within less than 15 minutes. James, the service tech arrived when he said he would. Fixed and tested washer prior to leaving. Awesome service James. I will be using this company again should other repairs be needed. Thanks James!!!!!!!!!

Awesome!!! I had called Sears where they esttimated $129 to $329. Call 123 Appliance before Sears PLEASE! Outstanding!

Excellent service start to finish. When I initially called the office number, I wanted an over-the-phone estimate to make a repair/replace decision on the appliance. I was put in touch directly with the repairman, explained my problem, received an estimate, and made my decision. When repairs were made, the service crew arrived on time and promptly completed the work.

James, our technician, was very courteous and professional. He made a diagnostic call, ordered the timer for our washer, and replaced it three days later. He was prompt and always let us know when he would be at our house. It was a very good experience.

In fact they are the only appliance repair company on Angie’s list, so I called them. I called him to repair my refrigerator; my refrigerator was not cooling upstairs, it was a 2 year old refrigerator, bad on me that I so quickly spoilt it. He didn’t catch the real problem at first, so I had a lot of frustration for a couple of days and I’ve been very sick and had to go through the long method, that’s where the problem was. But he came the next day at the end of his day about 7:30, and he did find the problem and fixed it. I called him back and when he came in and fixed it, I called him back the next morning and I thanked them again. I would say that he didn’t fully test the thing at first because he called me back few hours later and I told him that I’ve got a little thermometer in my refrigerator to keep track on the temperature, He told me that after 24 hrs it’ll cool off and I couldn’t believe that. After 24 hrs it was just 60 degrees, I was going just explode as in the meantime the fruits were spoiling. So I called them back and told them it was 60 degrees, then he said may be wait for 36 or 48 hours. I was getting all negative at that point. So then finally I got through and he came in quite late and he realized that ice builds up due to malfunction in the computer, it blocks the flow of air and that’s why that thing couldn’t work, but then he had no way in knowing that in his first visit. He did the work, which is one of the reasons that I cannot say if they are negative or positive. I’m just saying it delayed things because he didn’t catch the problem at first. I can’t fault him because he’s been in this business for 32 years. He did the work and he is a very nice man. It’s a black company, which is fine with me as long as the work is done well. I paid around $264, he did give me a brake since there was an advertisement in your book, and he gave me $10 off for being on Angie’s list. He also gave me normal $25 to come in just to my house and check. So he had taken off $25 there which I was very crazy for. He gave me a total of $35 discount. He was generous. I would say that he would be safe to call for repair works. He was very nice, very plight. He was cordial. He was a very polite family man. He was a very nice gentleman. I would use him again in the future if I get the same man, he has proven himself and he did a good job.

Washing machine shut down and when I tried to start it over again, water leaked on the floor. Called plumber first who referred me to 123 Appliance Repair and James. James diagnosed problem over the phone (after dinner on Valentine's Day) and said he would be by the next morning between 9-11. He then called at 9:30 am to say that he would be at the house in 30 minutes. He replaced the water pump (correctly diagnosed) in less than 10 minutes. Very friendly and professional! Estimate was right on cost. Would definitely call again.

It went very well. I called them, the next day 123 Appliance Repair came out and fixed my Whirlpool Cabrio Washer. The technician was courteous and professional. The fee was very reasonable.

I called and described the problem. The gentleman I spoke with seemed to know exactly what the problem was based on his experience. We set a time and day for the visit. The technician arrived late, however, he did contact us in advance indicating that he was going to be late due to a previous repair taking longer than expected. He came right in, took a look at the dishwasher, and confirmed that what he though was the problem was indeed the problem. He had the necessary part and completed the job in a timely fashion. He was well dressed (for an appliance repair technician) and professional. He also instructed my daughter to tell me (Dad) that when she closed the dishwasher door which is when the dishwasher stopped working, that did not cause the problem! I know SHE was relieved. Overall experience was great and would use their services again if the need comes up.

I submitted an online quote request on a Sunday and received a callback within an hour. The service was scheduled for the next day and the technician showed up on time. He performed the ice maker repair on our large refrigerator (part replaced) and also inspected our washer/dryer for potential issues. Before leaving, my husband asked the technician to look at our daughter's dorm refrigerator, which had recently stopped working. He identified its problem and replaced a bad relay switch. All of this was done with professionalism and at a reasonable price - $250, including the trip charge, parts, and labor. IF ALL REPAIR PEOPLE WERE THIS GOOD, ANGIE'S LIST WOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS!

James replaced the relay capacitor on my refrigerator. It took him less than 5 minutes for him to detect the problem and another 10 minutes to fix it. The refrigerator is working great again. I would definitely recommend 123 Appliance Repair to other Angie's List members.

Woke up to find items in our freezer were melting. I called 123 Appliance Repair at 7:45am. Much to my surprise, someone answered the phone at this hour. The gentleman indicated a technician would call me back. James called me within 15 minutes, asked a few questions and said he'd be at my house in 30 minutes. He quickly determined it was the relay switch and made the repairs. Great experience!

I called on a Friday late in the afternoon. He came on Saturday and took the whole dishwasher apart. He explained that I would need a new part. He called the next day with the price of the part and scheduled to come out and install it. He did a great job, was clean, reliable and respectful.

I called 123 Appliance after reading positive reviews on this site; the call went directly to voicemail. I left a message describing my problem and left a phone number. I received a call back within 5 minutes. The woman sent a description of my problem and my contact information to a tech who called me back within 10 minutes. About 20 minutes after my initial call I had an appointment set for 8am the next morning. The man called approximately 30 minutes before arriving. Upon his arrival he promptly fixed the issue and was out of the door within 45 minutes. The price was a little high but the responsiveness was amazing.

Everything went very well. James, the technician, was very personable, prompt, and very pleasant. He was also very professional. He did a good job.

123 Appliance Repair returned my call the next business day. James was knowledgable about the problem and was able to give me an estimate over the phone. He also asked whether or not I wanted to proceed based on the cost, but we saw it as a safety issue and wanted to replace the light. The part was not in stock but he ordered it and told me when it would likely come in. As soon as it came in he called to arrange a time to complete the work. He arrived promptly and worked efficiently. All in all a great experience.

Fantastic and after months of poor perfomance he told us things the manufacturer didnt!! We were happy to spend $40 vs 6-800.

Called about getting my over-the-range microwave repaired because it will run, but not heat. I called the main office with my problem and they had a tech call me back to schedule a visit. I spoke to James over the phone who stated he had 30 years of microwave repair experience. I explained my problem and he said the magna-tron would need to be replaced. He said there wasn't anything else it could be since the unit runs but doesn't heat. He said it would be $250 for parts and labor and wanted to let me know before coming out and charging me $40 service call (Angies List rate) $50 otherwise. He also suggested checking my owners manual to see if the manufacturer had an extended warranty on the magna-tron. Since an identical replacement microwave is $325 i think I'll just replace it. It was great to get up-front pricing and suggestions over the phone with out a service call.

My dryer was running but would not heat up. I guessed it was a heating element but was not sure so I called 123 Appliance Repair.

We were having problems with a frozen water line in our refrigerator as well as all of our produce getting frozen. We had this problem several times in the past but the refrigerator was no longer under warranty, and I didn't want to use the company who supposedly fixed the problem in the past with costly repairs. Anyway, after looking on Angie's list and finding 123 Appliance, I called them up. The technician, James, called me right back and came to our house the same day. He was thorough in his diagnosis, professional, and courteous. He was able to quickly spot what the problem was and it was a quick, easy, fix. We would definitely use this company again and highly recommend them to others.

I called 123 Applicance when we heard a loud "boom" in our gas oven, which caused us great concern. They immediately had their technician, James, call me back. He came the same day (within hours of me calling) to diagnose the problem, which was a faulty ignitor. He also noted that we had a bad switch on one of our burners. I mentioned to him that we recently moved into our house and that these items should be covered under our home warranty. He agreed, and gave me word tracks to use when calling our home warranty protection company. He also said that he would honor the trip charge for 30 days so that I could discuss the repairs with my husband and call regarding our warranty. With his help, I was able to get the necessary repairs covered and James came back promptly to get our oven fixed so that we could feel safe using it again. James was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend to others.

From my first conversation with Don and an almost immediate phone call back to schdule a time with James, all were handled with professionalism from start to finish.Not realizing that my call to 123 was the Monday following Thanksgiving weekend.....looking back, my husband and I were amazed at how responsive this company was. James asked me for the details, assured me he was pretty sure of the problem, that he had the part and would be at our home between 4 - 7 PM.James left a phone message saying he could come earlier - unfortunately we were not at home. We called him back and he said he would still be at our home by 7 PM the latest and arrived before 7.Very pleased with the job, responsiveness and punctuality!

I thought it needed a new fan but they found it needed a new seal. They fixed that and the ice dispenser as well. The noise in back ended up going away. They did some excellent repairs at a nominal fee and I would definitely use them again.
