123 APPLIANCE REPAIR

I sent a online form to this company requesting a price quote and received a phone call within 5 minutes. I was told a technician could be here within the next 2 hours. James called me an hour later and said he was on the way. James was kind, nicely dressed, very pleasant and diagnosed the problem within minutes of listening to my noisy washer! He had the part on his truck, told me what it cost, I agreed to have the work done, and he went to work! He replaced my water pump and showed me why it happened! One of my underwires from a bra had been wedged in the pump so he told me to use a garment bag for those. He cleaned the area and was finished in 30 minutes. James was smiling the whole time! I am now a lifetime customer!

Called the company at 11:30 am. The owner took my info and said a tech will call me right back to schedule. The tech (James) called me within minutes and after talking with him and getting my tenants info, made arrangements to be at the property within the hour...Please note that this is a Saturday! Determined the cause to be a bad control board and replaced the part while on site.

Called 123 Appliance when I got home from work and found the washing machine was not working properly. (It would not agitate or spin). They took my information and said a repairman would call me back. Within the hour I got a return call and scheduled for the next day. A few minutes later they called back and said they had a cancellation and asked if they could come over in 20 minutes. The repairman was very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. He said he had been in the business for 31 years and worked on all appliances, all make and models. He knew what was wrong with the machine and promptly repaired it. He told me what could have been the cause of the problem. This was the second time in two weeks I have used 123 Appliance, for 2 different appliances and I would use them again........hopefully not anytime soon :).

Called 123 Appliance late afternoon and left a message. They returned my call early evening. A service tech came the next day, scheduled time was between 4PM-8PM. (the fridge was still running so there wasn't a concern about food going bad) He called before arrival, close to 8PM. Very nice, very professional, very knowledgeable. His "specialty" was Samsung refrigerators. I explained the problem. He knew exactly what was wrong and fixed the problem promptly. I didn't shop around so I don't know if the price was comparable to other companies. I don't feel it was unreasonable. I would definitely use 123 Appliance again, in fact, my washing machine broke 10 days later and 123 Appliance was there the same day to repair it.

James arrived on time, showed me what need to be replaced and gave me the cost before proceeding. It is nice to have ice again! I will definitely use 123 Appliance Repair again.

The owner was prompt to call back and actually fixed more than I originally called for (refrigerator was the actual issue, however I asked him to take a look at my dishwasher that had been broken for over a year). I am very pleased with my service and will definitely call them if needed again or recommend them to others!

The serviceman from 123 Appliance Repair was very prompt, on time, he knew right away what the problem was, he was quick, and did a great job fixing it.

The repair was quick. The repair was more expensive then some competitors I believe on Angies list.

It went very well.. Since it was last year, I don't remember the exact amount of the repair.. but, I do remember the gentleman was very knowledgeable and experienced. He came out immediately. He was fast and courteous. Very satisfied with the service.

Our fridge had been "repaired" by 3 other companies with 4 visits in the last year. So we are about at the end of our patience with repair people who say they fixed it and a week or a month later it's doing the same thing again. This gentlemen seemed very knowledgeable and said replacing the main computer was probably the cause all along. So we agreed to spend the additional money. The part had to be ordered and it came in and he was back earlier than he had guessed so we were happy about that. I'm really hoping this is the magic cure! If we go a year with no problems, I'll change the rating to an A.

Some business cards you keep. This is one of those. Don't remember exactly what I paid but I don't remember feeling like it was unreasonable.

Based on the great reviews on Angie's List, I contact provider on a Saturday, and accepted an appointment for Tuesday afternoon. No one came or called. I contacted provider via email, and he quickly called me back. He apologized for failing to appear or call. I was okay with it. I know providers get busy sometimes. So we made an appointment for the next day (Wednesday) between 3-6. I was a bit reluctant to make an appointment for that time of day, worried that I would be a low priority, but I accepted it anyway. On Wednesday, again no one came. I received a call at 5:52 PM, which I missed, as I had stepped outside for a couple of minutes. (Not their fault, of course). The caller apologized, explained that he had been too busy to show up, that he was in Huntersville, and that it would take him 25 minutes to get to my house in the University area and to call him back. He also offered a free service call. That's a pretty nice offer, but useless if no one shows up, so I decided not to call them back. I emailed the company again that evening, and explained that I was not very pleased with their service, and that I could not leave them good feedback on Angie's List. That message was either ignored or deleted, because I didn't hear back from them. Wrote me off, I guess. I'm not sure this company understands the importance of keeping it's appointments, or understands the concept of good customer service. I realize this is contradictory to their rating on Angie's List, which is overwhelmingly positive, but if they are good to customers, I certainly didn't experience it.

123 Applicance Repair was very responsive to our call. He showed up just as promised with the phone ahead 'heads up'. His appearance was spotless. His manner was polite and informative... very friendly and succeeded in making me comfortable. His knowledge of the potential issues (and there are many!) with this convection oven was apparent. It was necessary to order parts for the repair which was done promptly and I was notified when they arrived and the subsequent visit was scheduled. Doing business with 123 Applicance Repair was as straightforward and pleasant an experience as you could want. 123 Appliance Repair communicated well, fixed our problem and provided that 'down home' type experience that is almost impossible to achieve today!! Excellent!

It went well. When he came out the first time he did not have the part, but he ordered it on the spot and was there to put it in the next day. It is an old dryer but we still came out way ahead to replace the part instead of buying a new one. Our service rep was James and he is a great guy!

I was given a window of 1:00 to 5:00 pm. I received a call at noon telling me that it would be late afternoon. I explained that I had to leave at 6:15 for an appointment. I received the next call at 5:08. The technician arrived at 5:38. He diagnosed the problem in 5 min., made the repair and was gone by 6:00. I was truly impressed!

My washing machine was making terrible noises and I thought the drum had come loose. The technician tested the cycle with no clothes in it, and of course the noise was gone. He told me that I should use the laundry mat for my king size bedding and that was the problem. He did offer to take $10 off the service call, and I appreciated his honesty and was pleased.

I have used his services before and was very pleased so when my washer broke, I knew just who to call. I called him on Thursday and scheduled my appointment for the next day, Friday, between 3-6pm. His assistant ,called me Friday morning to remind me and he also called me 20 minutes ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. He is very friendly and professional...each time I have used him he's always dressed very nice and neat. In addition to his great work, what also sold me is that he loves dogs...he didn't want me to put them up, instead he played with my big boxer and my rescue dog. They love him and dogs know good people...so they gave their woof of approval too. He showed me exactly what was wrong with the washer and how much it would cost to fix before he did the work. It only took him about 15 minutes to fix it and made sure it was working correctly before he left. The cost was very reasonable and he is so pleasant and good at what he does that I will only call him for this kind of service in the future. Highly recommend! Kim Macfarlan

I told the repairman what the washer was doing, over the phone, and he told me what the problem was and how to fix without even looking at it. I was so pleased.

My request was answered immediately and James was here within 2 hours. The problem was diagnosed, the part needed was on his truck, and he was finished within 30 minutes. I have never had a large appliance repair that was taken care of so efficiently and professionally. The best part was not having to do without my washer for a day or more until someone could get here.

1st time customer of 123 Appliance. Overall excellent customer service and customer experience. Alerted to ice maker problem by family member in afternoon. Reviewed appliance repair ratings for S. Charlotte in Angie's List - 123 Appliance has the most total ratings and most of these ratings were 'A'. Called for repair around 2:30p.m. and call was dispatched to repairman, who promptly called to obtain nature of problem and establish time of repair. By 6pm, repair was complete. Service provider James is a pro and a nice guy. I'd recommend this service and James in particular for emergency appliance repair. Only rub was fee for appointment ($50) seemed redundant. Labor charge and parts charge were reasonable.

The technician was very professional and did a fine job. Simple as that. I would not hesitate to call them again.

I contacted 123 and received a call back within a couple of hours to repair my LG fridge. The service tech was Ron and he arrived on time and was very nice. He installed a relay and got the unit running again. Regrettably, the unit did not start cooling which I discovered the following day. .I gave a call back to 123 on Tuesday and while they were not open yet, I received a call back from James less than 15 minutes later. I explained the issue and he contacted Ron and gave me a prompt call back. He explained that a valve in the sealed system (which they do not service) was dead and I would need to contact LG. Although my unit was within the 7 yr warranty from LG for the sealed system (parts only) he explained I would be better off with a new unit as LG's labor cost would exceed the replacement cost for my fridge. Due to a small hiccup in the service process that I won't elaborate on (no biggie at all), James said he would just rip up the check and to keep him in mind in the future......which i certainly will. Awesome provider!!!!!

He arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He then stayed another half hour to make sure it was working. I can't say enough good things about the service and attitude of this guy. I thought customer service was a thing of the past, I thought wrongly.

I was happy with the service and the technician. He was prompted, and he actually had to make several repairs, one of the dishwasher, the refrigerator, the washing machine and the microwave. It was unfortunate all were having problem at the same time in fairly new contraction (5 years) but we did what had to be done. I was shocked at the price of things but..... technology

James Smith was the technician and he was so professional and efficient. He had the repair done in approx. 15 minutes. As soon as I thld him the problem I was having, he diagnosed the problem and fixed it promptly.He was very courteous also. A job well done!
