Wish 123 appliance would have checked the fan when they were here, could have save on an over priced vent cleaning.

This was bar-none one of the best experiences I have had with any service provider. I called today because my dryer would not start. We have about a foot of snow outside right now, so the roads are totally shut down. Instead of just saying they would come out when the weather cleared up, James walked me through exactly how to figure out which part on the dryer wasn't working. He was able to diagnose the part, show me a way to get the dryer running temporarily, and tell me where to get the new part. He was patient, and allowed me to call him at home 4-5 times just for questions on what to do. He did all of this free of charge, just to deliver great service. I will definitely be recommending this company to other people, and using them myself. It is refreshing to see a company that isn't trying to take advantage of customers. Thank you!

It was above and beyond what I thought they would do. But instead of wasting my time and money for an easy fix, he explained how to clean the filter myself (so I didn't make a mess) and did it over the phone to avoid a costly visit. He did offer to come out the very next day if this didn't work, and I appreciated that as well. I'd definitely use them again. Very nice and honorable.

Everything went well. All those I dealt with were friendly. The technician came the next day at the agreed upon time and called to say he was on the way. He fixed the problem and explained what he was doing. He was efficient and neat.

I was having an issue with my fridge warming up. After calling another repair man and not being satisfied I looked on Angie's List and found 123 Appliance repair. When I called I gave a brief description of the problem and she said a technician would call me back within a few minutes. 10 minutes later I received a call from a very professional man. He asked what the problem was and what brand the refrigerator was & my location. He asked if he could call me back to see if he could get another technician to come by who was in the area. About 5 minutes later, I received a call from James. He said he had 1 more person in front of me then he would come by. He was at my door within 30 mins!! He was excellent, very professional and told me the problem right away. He even informed me the previous company that I had look at the fridge took the thermostat from the freezer. Luckily James had the part needed and was able to replace within 10 minutes. I would recommend James and 123 appliance to anyone in need of appliance repair! The cost was better then the earlier company and they had to replace an entire part that was missing. I will only use 123 appliance from now on! Thanks

It took James approximately 15 minutes to diagnose and fix our dryer and unplug the water hose in our freezer.

James called and told me that he had seen the error a lot due to the cold weather we were having and rather than come out, he suggested we wait until it warmed up and try a load again...he didn't want to incur any unnecessary charges if he didn't have to! How great was that? Customer service!!!! That's what it is all about...I will use them again and refer them as many times as I can. Thank you!

My dishwasher wouldn't work on Thanksgiving Day. I called 123 the next day and James came out to determine the problem on Monday. There were tiny water bugs in the panel which had shorted it out. He ordered the part and came back to switch out the old one. He was efficient and professional. He suggested I call an exterminator to get rid on the bugs as they could cause the same problem again.

When I called I was able to give the part number as well as model number for my stove, as I had saved the parts manual for it. The clock/timer was broken. Also, the vent on my microwave range hood was not working either, but since there would be several things to check to find out why, we weren't sure what part might be needed. We agreed to schedule a repair visit after he found out when he could get the stove part. He called back saying that the manufacturer said they no longer made the stove part I needed, and they were unable to locate one anywhere. So he came out to just see about the microwave range hood. It turned out to be the control panel, but since (to my embarrassment) I then remembered and found a paper showing I had a five year warranty still in effect, I did not ask him to order a part. Instead I called the warranty company. They came & confirmed a new control panel is needed, and they are handling it now. The worker (James) was very professional, pleasant, and efficient. I will continue to use this company for all my appliance repairs, as both times James has correctly diagnosed and fixed the problems, doesn't waste time, and is very trustworthy.

James came into the house and agreed that it appeared that the baking element was malfunctioning Replaced element no other issues with range. I rated punctuality good since he arrived 45 mins after the window period but that really did not create an issue for us. Price - not sure what others charge but price includes parts, labor and trip charge. Overall, James was very polite and made the repair very quickly and my wife is happy to have her oven working. Trip and labor charge warranty is better than other advertised repairers. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for appliance repairs. If he's running behind it's worth the wait nice guy!

Job done well at a reasonable price, but it was a challenge getting hold of them. Originally did not return two calls.

The guy said don’t worry about it and use it until it dies and about 2 weeks later, we had water all over our floor just enough to damage our wood floor and we had to replace the whole floor so he was wrong. He didn’t diagnose the problem properly so we ended up with a damaged floor. I think the price was average. When we called up and told them what happened, they were not very helpful.

He was very friendly and professional and in and out within 30 minutes.

Very positive experience except for the price.

I first called him and a talked to him about my washer. He said it sounds like a knob and he is not going to charge me $150 to come out and replace a $6 knob. So he told me where to go to replace the knob and how to do it, and then to call him back if I have any issues with the actual replacement, which I thought was really great. Then a month later our dryer broke. So I called him back and it was probably more expensive than other people, but I appreciated what he had saved me before. He was there right on time.

The scheduler set an appt for a 3pm to 7pm window with a call prior to arrival. No one called. I called the office at 7pm to learn they "can't find the house on GPS'. This is the first time I've ever heard this in eight years. Additionally I gave the scheduler directions when I made te appt. As I'm one the phone with the office shortly after 7pm the tech calls and says he has been trying to reach me all day; yet I have no missed calls. Additionally the vendor had my email address and did not contacted via email either. The insult was the owner telling me he could get to me on Monday or Tuesday, AFTER spending four hours waiting on Friday. The vendor operates on weekends but made no offer to reschedule for the weekend, even after I told the owner I worked weekdays. It's apparent to me this vendor does not value or respect their (prospective) customers' time.

Our washer broke on Sunday, January 12. It stopped spinning and draining. The next day, I researched 123 Appliance Repair and completed an estimate form on the company website shortly before 8 a.m. A representative called me within the hour and scheduled a time to come that same evening. The representative was courteous, professional, and also flexible with the time. As promised, he called when he was on his way to my house to make sure it was still a convenient time. The repairman was professional and courteous, and the repair took less than an hour. We're very pleased! Not only did we have our washer fixed the day we called, but the process was easy. We would definitely use this company again, and we would also recommend them.

It turned out to be the mother board on the back of my fridge instead of the condenser fan. He replaced the board and the fridge works great.

James did a great job. I emailed him on a Sunday and he called me within a few hours. When we connected, he was willing to meet with me the same day.

Within seconds it was fixed and I was able to use my washing machine again.

I reached out to 123 late afternoon one day and they were able to get me in for an appointment first thing the next morning. The repairman (I think his name was James), was wonderful. he was ontime, knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to complete the work quickly since he had all the parts on his truck. I would use this company again without hesitation!

TERRIBLE service - beware, do not use this contractor! They reapaired the rope pulley system in the dishwasher, and when he was done there was an awful squeeking noise that was not there before the repair. I was told the broken string was masking the hinge issue which was now apparent. Long story short - I did plenty of research, and it turns out that the squeek was coming from the rope system that was installed. I called back the contractor to come back out and take a look. He told me that he would have to charge me the service fee, which is not right considering I wanted him to come back to fix an issue he caused. When I told him I would write a bad review on Angie's List if he did not fix the problem, he said I was threatening him. This is what Angie's List is for - to warn consumers about issues like this. I ended up fixing the squeek myself after a lot of research since he would not come back out, and the rope pulley system that cost me $125 that he installed broke 2 months later. Please save yourself the time and money and do not use this contractor!!!!!!!!!

My oven broke on Christmas eve late. I sent an email that night and the had James come out on the 26th. Called in the morning, quoted a price and showed up on time. Fixed it in under 45 minutes and price quote was charged. Great guy and I will use in the future.

Good service - reasonable pricing. I would recommend!

Very knowledgeable and friendly. Quickly diagnosed our refrigerator issue and fixed it on the spot. Came same day they were called.
