123 APPLIANCE REPAIR

I'm sad to say that I have to give 123 Appliance Repair an "F." The only positive about the experience was that the initial call was answered the same day and James is, in fact, a pleasant person. HOWEVER, starting with the cost, I fail to see why a trip charge ($50) was added on to the bill. If I had the technician come out for an estimate only, then I can understand a trip charge, but not when I am already paying for labor and parts. And if the reason you have to charge is distance? (Pineville to Charlotte) DON'T advertise that you cover this service area. $210 for a basic repair, I think, was extremely high. Then came the problem with the replaced part. Two days after the part was replaced, the blower fan was making a horrible, grinding noise. When I called James to come back it took him nearly 5 days, his reason being inclement weather. I can understand a back log, but when I already paid for the service, I should take priority, right? Clearly, not. On the second visit, he noticed a build up of frost in the refrigerator and claimed that he must have left the door open which would cause the problem. He defrosted the fridge and left. Two days after THAT the noise started again. I called James again. This time he figured it was a bad blower fan, however, once again due to inclement weather, it was another week before he returned and re-replaced the blower fan. Three days later- the replacement fan was whining and grinding again! So I called James now for the fourth time. He claimed it was a bad shipment of blower fans. But, by now, I was frustrated and refused to have him come out another time, feeling certain that the same problem would happen again (and again.) I demanded a refund. He wouldn't give me one. His reason being that HE had lost time and money on this repeated repair. (And what I didn't say but was thinking- me taking time off from work was making me money?) My response is that the repair was not done correctly! We settled on a refund for the part only and I had to eat the other $100. That should of been the end of it, but unfortunately, after repeated phone calls it took me over a month to receive the refund check. All that being said, I would NOT recommend 123 Appliance for any repair or service.

Dean, the tech, was wonderful. Prompt, efficient, and very professional. Needed a part he didn't have, ordered and returned in 2 days. In and out in 30 min. Great experience. Will recommend.

set up appointment right away. Called 8 a.m. Knew exactly what was causing water on the floor under the refrigerator. had necessary equipment and repaired. Was done in 30 min. I would recommend this company.

The tech knew exactly what was wrong immediately. They are prompt and the price was reasonable.

The repair man that came to my home stated that the drain hose was clogged and that he didn't do that type of work. He stated that a plumber would be the one to repair the hose. I called a few plumbers in the area and they said that the appliance repair man should be able to handle that type of job. I called the company after the repair man left about the issue and was told that the company could repair the drain hose on my dishwasher and they would have the repair man call me back. After several hours and phone calls the repair man called back and again stated that he would not repair the drain hose. I have basically wasted $50.00 and my entire day on a simple repair that still isn't done.

Dean was fantastic! Not only was he able to diagnose my problem, but he told me what the previous company didn't do to fix my problem, and the price was very reasonable. He was quick and super nice. I called on a Saturday frantic without a washing machine and they were out here at 9 am Monday morning. He gave me a 30 minute warning so I could get dressed, put the dogs away, etc. Overall, I would definitely hire them again for any of my appliance repair!

The service man that came out was extremely courtious. His name was James. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. He replaced the two parts, one in the refrigerator and a burner in the electric cook-top, in less than an hour. He suggested in his initial call that I might be able to get the burner at a reduced cost from the manufacturer because it was very close to the warranty period. He was right. I called the manufacturer and they sent me the burner for $70, and the part is normally $160. So he saved me almost $100. James always told me the day he would be out and a 3 hour window in which he would call me. When he was within a half hour of my location he would call. He did all that he promised. I would certainly use them again for my appliance repair.

Cost was $30 more than estimated. I would call then again.

They did a great job. They came right in and knew exactly what it was. I have not had a problem with it since.

He suggested that I look for a couple of things. He was familiar with my style of dishwasher and asked me to look where the leak was coming from. He was very honest and helpful. He saved me the money of having him come out just to tell me that.

We called and left a message regarding dishwasher repair. They returned the call promptly and were friendly and helpful. We were advised that because of the age of the appliance, it would be better to replace it than to fix it. Saved us the cost of a service call.

I've been pleased with the service. A lot of times, I found that people you highly recommend are not always easy to get on the phone, not always punctual and those kind of things and I can't use 123 Appliance Repair than I would anybody. They were on time, it was initially hard to get an appointment with them but the last two times that I called them weren't, so I guess I really don't have any complaints. I always have to thank this person, James, because he is well-mannered, efficient and a pleasant person.

My washing machine at the rental house kept turning off after a few minutes. I called 123 Appliance Repair and James contacted the renter and troubleshooted the issue. The issue was resolved over the phone without 123 even coming to the house or charging a service fee. The load was too big and kept knocking the sensor. Great company, who is eager to help out even when they may not get paid for the service. Defintely will use them for all my appliance repairs.

James provided very prompt and professional service. I would definitely call him again.

Our refrigerator was freezing everything even though we had put it down to the lowest temp. I got on 123's website, filled out the form and I received a call back from them within 30 minutes. I explained the problem and they arranged to come out after I got off work. They worked around my schedule, not the other way around! When the technician arrived he quickly diagnosed the problem, explained what it was, and quoted me a price. I was expecting him to say that they would have to order the part since that's how it often goes. Imagine my surprise when they told me that he had it on the truck. He had the repairs completed within 30 minutes of his arrival and everything seems to be working normally again! From start to finish this has been an awesome experience and I will definitely use these guys for any small or large appliance repair going forward. Thanks 123!! You guys rock!!

This company is one of those you ALMOST don't want to brag on because you want to keep them all to yourself! James was prompt, professional and saved me thousands of dollars because he was able to fix the icemaker on the fridge that came with the home I bought. Great communication. Called back within minutes of online service request! This guy really knows his stuff! You will not regret calling James on any appliance repair!

The tech was professional. Came in did the repair and out within 20 min.

I have a GE washing machine less than 5 years old. It started leaking and has a spin cycle that sounds like an airplane engine. The provider knew right away what the problem was and pointed it out to me and explained everything to me. He said it wasn't worth repairing ($450!!!!) and even suggested better products. Needless to say, I didn't get anything repaired, but I would definitely use this provider again.0

Job sub contractor was Shawn capers- He checked several things. at bottom of refrig in the front-bottom of frig at the rear of refrig- and trhat's where he replaced a valve for the water. He asked me to try to run the water while he watched to see if it worked. IT DID NOT WORK. HE LEFT THE NEW VALVE IN PLACE AND THEN HE TOOK OFF THE FILTER AND EMPTYED IT AND REPLACED IT. tHE WATER WORKED. I asked about THE valve. He said it was needed. Charged me $264.00 . WHICH INCLUDED A NEW VALVE. 20 minutes after he left, the water stopped again. I took out the filter dumped all of the water out and replaced it ,. THE WATER WORKS I needed a new filter. Not a NEW VALVE- I WILL NOT USE THESE PEOPLE AGAIN-I THINK HE CHEATED ME- .. P.L.EVANS

First visit repaired my dishwasher thenI called him a week later when my freezer broke. Was responsive friendly professional and reasonably priced.

Couldn't be happier. I submitted a contact request late at night and was called at 7:45 AM the next morning. By 8:45 they were at my home. Diagnosed the issue and have to go obtain the applicable parts. Came back later that evening to complete. Has worked perfect since.

I called 123 in the afternoon and they came that day. My fridge was making a noise and when he was there, it didn't make the noise. He charged a $50 service fee and said he'd come back anytime (and waive the fee) to check it out again. Turned out to be an outlet issue so no repair was done but would recommend 123 based on their responsiveness and professionalism

They came to identify the problem, then returned with parts the next week. They fixed the lights by changing out a control board, but that did not fix the ice-maker. They made two other visits to attempt to fix the ice-maker, but did not fix it ion either visit. After that, they quit returning our calls. We still don't have our freezer working properly, and we gave up trying to contact them. They are probably competent to fix things which you can fix yourself watching a You-Tube video, but I would never use them again. On the plus side, they were always courteous, and theycleaned up after themselves. If only they could fix the problem...

My dishwasher was not draining. Technician came unclogged and sanitize. It's been working great!

They did a fantastic job. It was a very smooth experience and they were very communicative. I was pleased with the overall experience.
