We scheduled an appointment and were given a 5 hour window (3pm-8pm). We heard nothing until almost 9pm when the repair person asked if it was ok to come by. We of course said no as we had kids to get to bed and didn't know how long it would take. He then gave us a 3 hour window the next day. He missed that window but did call shortly after and ended up coming by. The repair person was on the phone most of the time he was working on our appliances and talked to us very little. He finished his repairs and as far as I can tell never tested that he did indeed fix the leaks. It was obvious on the ice maker leak that he didn't test as we had to turn it back on ourselves.. and it was still leaking. We called again today and will see how this issue is resolved. UPDATE: The repair person did come back out finally and replaced the ice maker with no charge. He explained these things happen (manufacturer's defects) and that ice maker issues like this don't always show up right after installation. This visit was at no further charge.

Very well! It is a rental home and the tenant said James was professional, very pleasant, and punctual.

I paid $50 service charge PLUS $50 labor for the 30 minutes that the repairman was at my house. The repairman was polite and courteous-very professional. But I feel $100 was excessive cost for service provided and time spent.
Description of Work: The repairman cleaned out the filter screen in my dishwasher, checked the water valve and advised me to call the county to adjust the water pressure.

Our cost is based on fuel to get there, labor time to get there and job done, taxes, matching withholdings, various insurances and other overhead costs. At a minimum if he comes out it's going to be at least $50 if you choose not to have him perform the repairs. If he does get you fixed up we need at least $50 to cover our fixed cost. Probably one of the best experiences I have ever had with a service being performed for me. James Smith is very professional, polite and experienced service person. James diagnosed the problem and repaired my refrigerator very fast. It is great to have a quality person like James Smith that you can call and know you are going to be taken care of.

Don responded to my initial email within 1 day and came as scheduled and was professional and prompt. He was able to repair the water line on the back of our LG refrigerator and replaced the heating element in our Whirlpool Duet dryer all within 1 hour! The price was reasonable and everything is working perfectly. Would definitely use again!

The service call went excellent. I had water leaking from underneath my refrigerator. Before my scheduled service that day, the hose busted and was spewing water everywhere. I called the service provider and he told me how to patch the hose until they arrived. The advice helped. The repair person(Ronald Salmond) called when he was on his way. The situation was accessed and Mr. Salmond explained the problem and the type of hose that would be used to fix the problem. Problem was fixed in a timely manner and Mr. Salmond was very professional. Very pleased with service and Mr. Salmond.
Description of Work: A hose to the icemaker in a side by side refrigerator was replaced.

I had standing water in my dishwasher. The repairman showed up in the allotted time, fixed the problem, was very professional. He was in and out in probably an hour and my dishwasher has worked great ever since! Highly recommend.

James was the technician that helped us out, and he has helped us in the past with previous appliance issues. He is always quick to respond, friendly, and reliable. He was able to get out to our rental house to fix the issue within a day, and was also flexible with timing for when the tenants would be home. I have used this company in the past for appliance repairs and will continue to use them in the future.

James came to look at fixing our GE Profile Washer and move the door on our GE Profile Dryer. He quickly realized that he didn't have the appropriate tools and parts, and would potentially had messed up the door. He instead refereed me to a GE expert, and didn't charge anything for coming out. Professionalism at its best.

I called this company just last evening requesting service. An appointment was made for today and just like clock-work, Dean was prompt and on-time. I chose this contractor because of his high rating on Angie's List. I see why they have earned the Super Service Award. Their customer service is #1 in my book. I notice every aspect of customer service since I am in a customer service based business myself. 123 identified the problem that was causing my dishwasher to not work (defective breaker). He helped me get the washer going, but I will still need to replace the breaker. I wish I had called him a long time ago. Many thanks to 123. I will certainly keep them on speed-dial and make referrals.

I called on Friday as the washer was making noise when going to cool down. My call was returned the same day and after explaining the problem, was told it was probably a clutch and that the service charge was $50 to come out but would be part of the estimate if the work was done. The appointment was set for the next day at 9:00. The tech arrived on time, was very professional and confirmed it was the clutch and that the total would be $200 to repair. He was able to do the job right away, and it was done to our satisfaction. I highly recommend them for repairs and will use them again if we need any appliance repair.

When I called 123 Appliance Repair, they did not have the part in stock and had to order it. They said they would call to schedule an appointment when the part came in. Over the phone, they estimated that the repair would cost between $175 and $200. The part came in about a week after the original contact and James called to schedule a time to install it. He arrived as scheduled and made the repair in about 30 minutes. He was very professional and left the area neat and clean.
Description of Work: Replaced the soap dispenser/jet dry dispenser assembly in the dishwasher because the jet dry tank was leaking.

They ended up misdiagnosing the problem. It was an issue with the water valve needing to be replaced. They ended up charging me over 400$ for an issue that was misdiagnosed. I have reached out to them on several occasions. heather called back and informed me on speaker phone that they received my letter regarding the issue and they would call us back shortly. It's been almost 4 weeks and they have still not gotten back with us. I am hoping this review and rating will prompt them in returning our call, as they informed me that they would negotiate a partial refund or credit, as we had asked in our letter. I was informed, had I went with a certified kitchenaid repairman, there would be no cost if a problem was unrepairable. Hopefully 123 will contact us regarding this issue and we can move past it.

Dear Member, We have issued a partial credit to you in addition to the waived second $50.00 trip charge and the 2 Angie's List $10 off coupons. We stand by our work and want to explain that on 5.19.2015 we replaced the motor in the ice maker because it was not making ice. We tested and it worked fine. A month later on 6.12.2015 we installed an ice maker kit for a different problem which was the dispenser in the door. We again tested and it worked fine. If you had the water line valve in the back of the refrigerator replaced later that was an additional problem that was not in existence when we did the prior repairs. If there was a problem with the valve, the ice maker that we installed would not have made ice. In essence you had 3 separate problems. I know this is a little hard to understand and it’s sad that these 3 problems happened but it is the reality of the situation and the nature of mechanical fault. The two technicians that came out have 50 years’ experience combined and they would not have missed a water valve problem. We stand by our work and we do and are crediting you an additional amount as a courtesy for not articulating the 2 separate problems more promptly initially. We appreciate any feedback good or bad as it helps us to be a better company as well.

The time frame the provider gave me was exceeded by hour and half. The discount they quoted me was noted on the receipt but not taken . The technician was polite and efficient but took a call while he worked on my repair and I wondered if my repair would be done correctly. Prices for parts and trip charge excessive. Address for my location was incorrect from office staff.

My Whirlpool dryer controls started shutting off in the middle of a cycle or sometimes refused to work at all. James (?) called me back very quickly and asked how he could help. After describing the problem James assured me that the problem is common for my dryer and the new models have done away with the control system (and electronic board). He offered a suggestion on how I could manually work around the problem on a temporary basis. He said that if it gets to be too much of an issue he can come out and probably replace the board. I was so impressed with his knowledge and willingness to offer advice and not take advantage of the situation by coming out to the house to charge a service call. His advice was exactly right and I can operate the dryer for the time being. Great Job....will definitely use them again.

The technician finished the job, but I felt he charged too much for the job. On a subsequent call; I spoke with owner of the company Mr. Reed and their office manager. Mr. Reed told me he is not charging enough in compare to his moving company. His rational to compare cleaning a refrigerator pipe with moving company didn't make any sense. He was angered and loud when I brought this to his attention. He felt that he is doing me a favor and had the right to raise his voice.

We called 123 Appliance Repair around 3 pm to report our problem. The tech called us a few minutes later and was at our house by 4 pm.. Ron was professional and proficient, analyzed and fixed the problem by 5 pm.. 123 Appliance deserves the "A" rating.
Description of Work: Replaced the fan on the 2 1/2 yr old Samsung French door refrigerator. Shame on Samsung.

I was searching for a technician that could come that day. I know, tall order, but James to the rescue. He came when promised and worked between 7-8 pm. When does that ever happen? After replacing the timer switch, it works like a dream. It helps to have the model number at the ready, James had a part on his truck. He didn't have to bust a gut to come but he did. I sent him home with flowers for his wife, as it was late. The pricing is about what I expected, thou didn't do a Google search. The labor charge was very reasonable. I would highly recommend anyone who needs help to ask for James.

On September 2, 2015 my wife informed me that she had attempted to wash clothes twice, and each time she ended up with water all over the laundry room floor. On the morning of September 3 I called 123 Appliance Repair, whom I have used before with good results. Mid-day I received a call back to understand the problem, and was told that a technician would call me to set up an appointment. That evening I received a call from Dean, who said he would be at my house between 11:30 AM and 3:00 PM on September 4 to look at the washing machine. He actually arrived about 3:15 PM. He took about 5 or 10 minutes to look under the machine, and told me that the water pump had come loose from its mooring. Apparently this is a common problem with this generation of Samsung washers (three years old). Dean told me that Samsung had changed to a cheap plastic bracket that frequently broke. He also told me that they had a kit to fix the problem, but that he could not get the kit - I would have to call Samsung to get the kit and arrange the repair. Not what I wanted to hear, but OK, that's the situation. I said "Let me get my checkbook". Dean said "No need, I didn't really do anything". I said "Not even a trip charge?". Dean said "No, I was going by here anyway". I haven't seen this kind of service since the service station attendant used to clean my windshield and check my tires. The next time I need appliance repair services I will definitely call 123 Appliance Repair and hope I can get Dean.
