We’ve always been pleased with 123 Appliance Repair. Very prompt, competent, fair priced. He’s repaired refrigerator, oven and dishwasher.

Service technician arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, had the part in his truck and fixed in one call.

Excellent ! The technician was professional and courteous . After assessing the washing machine , he concluded that the repair needed was from the connecting pipe not draining properly . My washer was in good condition and not needing repair , but the connecting draining pipe did . So he recommended I call a plumber .

Went great, called ahead so I could get my dogs put up.

It was an excellent experience in every way. I was able to get an appointment quickly. Dean arrived in the time window promised and thoroughly examined my dishwasher. It would not come on at all, so I wasn't sure if it was a dishwasher problem or an electrical problem in the wall switch. He ascertained that it was the dishwasher control board and ordered it that day. The part arrived the next afternoon, and Dean called to see if he could come out to install the part. Unfortunately, I was not available that afternoon, but Dean came on Monday, installed the new control board, and made sure it worked before he left. No problems since. Dean was very knowledgeable, thorough, professional and nice. I told my husband that 123 Appliance Repair was who I would call for any future appliance issues.

The person who answered the phone was very pleasant and clearly advised me of what to expect. James, the gentleman who came to repair my dishwasher, called prior to the appointment as promised, was on time, explained what the problem was, and completed the repair. James was professional and courteous. I will definitely use 123 Appliance Repair again and have already talked with James about another appliance repair I will be needing.

Well, but disappointed the the cost of the repair.

I was concerned the initial price was high (hence B rating because if only visit was good, but not great. Read on). But when the original diagnosis and repair let to another issue, they returned and only charged for the additional part (at a very fair price), no labor or trip charge. The machine continued to suffer an additional elusive ailment, but they returned several times determined to get the machine into working order. Upon finally succeeding (works great, like new machine that is actually 30 years old), the only charges were the initial repair charge and the one additional part. There was no charges for other parts, labor or trip charges. They were punctual, friendly, and determined to make everything right with our washing machine. I highly recommend them.

They were prompt, courteous and got the work done efficiently. They had to order parts, which were in the next day and he stopped by at my convenience to finish the job. I would definitely use them again.

James Smith came out the same day I called. He diagnosed the problem over the phone because he arrived WITH the part. He was done in about 20 minutes. Amazing! My dryer seems to work better than before it broke.

Inspected the dryer. Determined that the connection switch in the door was not working. Went out to find the part, came back and fixed the problem. We were afraid we would have too replace the 20 year old gas dryer.

The technician was on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired the washer by replacing the motor.

Great. James came out the next day - Gave me ample warning when he would be there. Diagnosed the issue right away, and Fixed the problem in 10 minutes. Awesome!

James came the same day as I called. He called first to alert me that he was coming during the time frame specified. He quickly found the problem (motor had burned out) and had everything in the truck that he needed to fix. I was very pleased and relieved.

Work was done easily and quickly. I will use this service again and again.

I was sitting at home ready before 9am and had my phone charged before this big Florence storm is due to arrive and missed James call around 9:30. I returned his call at 10:30 and was told he’d come next Wednesday because I didn’t answer his call to confirm I was home.

Great! I emailed a request through Angie's List and within an hour had 2 phone calls from the company. James (who called first) asked several questions, listened calmly, explained what he thought the fix would be, and gave an estimated range for the cost. He assured me it sounded like a routine fix. He offered to send someone the same day. Ron came that afternoon to do the work. He asked questions and assessed the unit. Taking the cover off the evaporator unit he found the problem. The drain trough had a hole rusted through it, hence the leak. He had the part on his truck. He was a pleasure to talk to and I volunteered to clean parts as he took them off. He replaced the drain trough and sensor and within an hour the unit was repaired. I liked: the ability to give all the info via an online request, getting a return call within an hour, having an opportunity to discuss the matter with a knowledgeable professional, the calm and respectful demeanor of James on the phone, same day service, repairman Ron's friendliness and professionalism, once he identified the problem he quoted a price and got an ok before proceeding. I'll happily call 123 Appliance for future work.

It went very well. James is very responsive. He helped identify what part was needed and was able to do the repair on one trip. Afterward, we noticed the control knobs were a little off balance. James responded and came back out to make the adjustment at no charge. James is a real professional, and takes a lot of pride in his workmanship.

Ron called me immediately after I left a message, he provided dates to come see the frig. He texted me when he was on his way with an ETA. He explained what the problem was, and came back the next day with a new major part, and did the repair. Best service I have had in a while on anything around the house.

The technician was prompt in returning my call, was on time and quickly was able to identify the problem and suggest a path to repair. The thermostat had failed and the belt was wearing. Within a short time, the dryer was working like new again. However, about a week later we experienced the same issue and they returned to resolve the issue (new belt broke) and for no charge as they have a 90 day warranty. Will certainly use them again!
