Description of Work: We had problems with our Kitchenaid dishwasher. Tried to troubleshoot it using google, but without success. I called 123 Appliance Repair to set up a visit/repair. They called back about 15 minutes later and I explained what the problem was, what I had done to troubleshoot, and asked to set up an appointment. The repair man (?owner) asked me several questions, then asked to to lift a float in the front right bottom. It worked. All I can say is he gets my business next time something happens. He could have come down, gotten a service charge and done it, but he talked me though it and there was no charge. Kudos!!

Description of Work: James was very responsive and fixed the problem within a few minutes. It saved us having to replace our refrigerator. Their pricing was also very fair. I would definitely recommend.

Description of Work: Our washer would not complete its spin cycle while we were in the midst of doing laundry one Sunday. I entered a service request on the company website that day. James called me, and I scheduled an appointment for the next day ( between 9 am and noon). James was a total professional. I had some concern because we have a stacked washer/dryer located in a small closet in our condo. James had no reservation and had the washer repaired in 20 minutes.

Description of Work: He assessed the problem and gave us a price. However, his recommendation that we call the manufacture to see if they would give us a break was most beneficial. The company did give us a break and we saved over a hundred dollars. We would not have done that without his recommendation. Unfortunately, the manufacturer wanted to use their company repairman. Will call 123 again if needed.

Description of Work: I called for a repairman to check my Whirlpool dryer (was not working). I have never used this service but found the name in Angie's List and it was within a few miles of my home. The repairman was on time, did not mind my four cats and bullmastiff and examined my dryer...The repair was minor but he explained what he found and how to correct it. He was here only a short while - was neat - his work precise - and I really appreciated the way he educated me on the dryer. Will definitely use the company again. Carol

Description of Work: My dryer isn't working properly so I called 123 to schedule an appointment. James called me back in less than 10 minutes. Once he heard what the details of my problem he determined I have a vent problem and gave me the name of another provider (also on Angie's List) who could better address my problem. Much appreciation for the fast call, honest evaluation and the referral.

Description of Work: Came home from a long weekend away to find our refrigerator totally warm inside and everything in it spoiled. Called 123 at 8:30 on Monday night, got a call back at 8:05 the next morning. James gave a verbal estimate over the phone and a window of time when he could be at our house on the same day. He called 10 minutes before arriving, showed up on time as promised and had everything fixed within the hour. Truly a life-saver! This is the second time we used 123 Appliance Repair and they will definitely be our go-to company for all future appliance repair needs. Can't recommend them enough!

Description of Work: Our dishwasher started sounding like a 747. My wife left a message Sunday afternoon, not expecting a all back until Monday. Received a call Sunday evening with an appointment for Monday morning. James came out, looked at our dishwasher, ordered the motor and scheduled a return time for Wednesday. On Labor Day, they answred the phone promptly, were very clear on the expectations for a holiday and then went ab ovee and beyond. I was contated within a very short time span by a technician who scheduled a service appt that evening. He arrived on time. Disgnosed the problem, clearly explained the issue and fixed it withihn 30 minutes. I could not have been more pleased.

My brother is an appliance repair tech, but can't travel 1 1/2 hours...it would be nuts. So I called this company based on the reviews. They came that day during the time frame promised. Tech called to say he was on the way. He arrived in uniform, easily identifiable and friendly. He looked at the dishwasher and took the spray arm out and found the line was clogged by a garden pea! Yes, a pea!! He removed the pea and told us he would not charge any labor, as not much was involved. We happily paid the house call fee....he drove out and gave his expertise. Glad it was an easy fix. You cannot expect people to work and give diagnosis' for free! He was fair, prompt and fixed the problem. God, I missed our dish washer....thanks 123 Appliance repair!

Description of Work: 123 Appliance returned my call within hours. I explained both of my problems, a broken ice maker on a 10 y.o. refrigerator and a snapped rod on my 10 y.o. microwave.
