Description of Work: diagnosed refridgerator issue to the sealed system. Told me it was probably still under warranty, looked at documents, sent me to Electrolux for warranty work (which they quoted to be about $500). will use for next repair

Description of Work: I called them about repairing our refrigerator and gave the scheduler the model and serial number. The repair person (who was super nice and helpful) opened the frig and said we do not service these models and gave me a contact for a company that did. Then he charged us $50 for the service call. My husband is a GC so paying for a service call is not a problem however he should have known from the information I provided that he could not repair it. Also, we had to wait another 2 days for someone else to come out so the rest of the food went bad. I mentioned the $10 off service coupon and he said that did not apply to the service call. Then I mentioned the $10 senior discount and he said he knew nothing about that. He did provide us with good information that helped us to get Whirlpool to cover the $1000 repair.

No apology he was there 10 minutes to fix problem. I would have appreciated reduced rate for inconvenience of waiting all afternoon for a no show

Description of Work: Upon receiving my call, James called me back and ran me through a couple of possible fixes over the phone. When that didn't work he suggested I contact GE Appliances, because my dishwasher was only 16 months old, and they should come out and fix it. GE wouldn't fix it. Anyway, I called James back and we had a communication problem as I thought he was coming out on one day, and when he didn't show, I called him. He apologized and said I wasn't on his schedule and I was supposed to call him back. OK, maybe. Anyway, we rescheduled, he came out, and of course, my dishwasher worked just fine for him. He charged me $50 for the Service call, but told me to call him if the same issue happened again and he'd walk me through it. He was incredibly helpful, professional, and good with my dogs. I would use this company again.

Description of Work: Ice and water stopped working on LG fridge with error code. They replaced ice fan cover with new cover that contained a defroster and reset the electronic board. Also, replaced the freezer drawer handle.
