Description of Work: Our dryer was no longer rotating and was making a buzzing noise. The gentlemen that came out told me over the phone it was probably the motor. He then came out to look at the dryer. He came back the next convenient day and replaced the motor. We had to call a couple of days later, because the laundry area was becoming very hot. Turns out he hadn't properly reattached the vent. My husband was able to reattach without them coming back, so we did not have them return. It is a tight space, so perhaps understandable.

Description of Work: Replaced the water pump in my Maytag front-load washing machine. Very professional and friendly. Would use them again without hesitation.

When I returned I remembered about the pre-purchase from Angie's List and sent 123 an E-mail to get reconnected and arrange a time to come. After weeks have yet to hear from then.

Description of Work: The repairman (James) incorrectly assessed the problem with my washing machine. I spent $625 unnecessarily on a brand new washer, only to find out the problem was electrical. When I spoke with him on the phone afterward he was rude to me. The bright spot was that the office staff was friendly and reimbursed the service fee that I paid. However I still bought a new washer when the prob turned out to be with the electrical outlet. It would've only been a $2.00 repair from Lowes!

Description of Work: Fixed my oven after I blew an internal fuse trying to self clean the oven. This happened a few days before Thanksgiving. I called them on a Sunday night James assured me he would have it fixed before Thanksgiving. :)

Description of Work: They were very honest with me and recommended I purchase a new refrigerator because the cost of the repairs would almost equal the same amount.

Description of Work: Charged $50 to tell me that I needed new part. I asked them to give me a few days to think through whether I was going to replace part or get new dishwasher. Decided to ask them to order part for me and replace it. Left a total of 8 or so messages with company and service technician and only one time was the call returned (I missed it b/c was in mtg). It's been 6 weeks and nothing has happened.
