 + -1 moreI left a message and did not get a return phone call until 3 hours later. I then am told they do not service LG washers and gave me a recommendation for someone else to call. I suggest they have these exclusions posted in their company profile to save time and frustration.

 + -1 moreI am very pleased with James and 123 Appliance. I called on a Friday while working from home. It was a crazy day and James made 2 attempts to call me back - which I thought was impressive. For once, I wasn't trying to chase down a service repair person - he was trying to get a hold of me. James was at my house less than 24 hours from the time I called 123 Appliance. James arrived on time, was professional, very pleasant and fixed the problem quickly. I felt very confident he knew what he was doing. My neighbor also used 123 Appliance and James. They were very satisified as well. I will definitely call 123 Appliance and James in the future.
Description of Work: My dishwasher was not working. In less than 20 minutes, the problem was diagnosed and fixed.

After speaking with James, he gave me a rough estimate and we both agreed it would be better to replace the range than to perform the repairs. James returned my call within 15 minutes of calling their office. He asked many questions in diagnosing the issue with the range. Very friendly and courteous. I will be calling them again in the future if I need any appliances repaired.

 + -1 moreWhen I called the company I was told a service person would call me in a few minutes. This in fact happened and I told James what the problem was. He said it would not be a problem to fix and said he would be at our home between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM and said he would call 30 minutes before arriving. He called shortly after 5:00 PM and was at the house by 5:30 PM. James was very professional and solved the problem quickly. He replaced the broken part and checked the rest of the burners. He was good to have in our home and explained what he had to do to repair the stove. I would use 123 Appliance Repair anytime I needed appliance service.

Description of Work: Refrigerator diagnosis and repair. They quickly came out on a Sunday on a holiday weekend to repair our broken refrigerator.  + -1 moreThe only put-off was that when I called the number I got a 'hello'. A pleasant hello, but a hello. I think I should hear "123appliance Repair, Pineville, how can I help you?" That way I don't have that hestitation where I'm wondering if I called the right number. Otherwise, perfect.
Description of Work: Checked Angie's, called these guys on a Saturday expecting an appointment the next week, got a same day appt, on a Saturday. Came in, identified that our ice maker was dead, happened to have one in the truck, ice being made 30 minutes later, one year warrantee. He also showed us how to vacuum our coil under the fridge (lots of dust) and how we needed to clean our fridge seals/gaskets or they will tear (showed us where). In other words, got a maintenance lesson too that ought to extend the life of our fridge.

Description of Work: One of my 'key indicators' for a good service provider is honesty. So when a provider tells you how to fix a problem yourself, THAT COMPANY is a KEEPER. 123 Appliance repair is just that. Because of a storm my power had gone on and off, but when the power came back on the final time, the control panel of my microwave couldn't be cleared of error messages. 123 Appliance told me that some appliances need a full 30 minutes to 'reboot' in the event of a power outage. He told me to shut the breaker off and leave it off for 30 minutes and then to turn it back on. BINGO!!! Worked like a charm and cost me nothing. That's services I'll remember the next time I really DO need an appliance repaired.

 + -1 moreCalled 123 around 2 PM. Owner answered promptly. He was incredibly nice and polite and, while we were still on the phone, texted James, a technician, with my contact info. As I was hanging up the phone, my phone rang -- it was James. I told him the problem. He told me he would be there b/w 4 and 6 PM that evening. Sure enough, he called me around 5 to tell me he was on his way. James thoroughly examined the machine, diagnosed the problem, replaced the broken part, leveled the machine -- all w/in 30 minutes. He was very clean, efficient and charming to my two youngest children who wanted to watch the whole thing!
Description of Work: My front loading washer, mid wash, stopped spinning and wouldn't drain. The water pump was broken. James removed the old one, installed the new one, showed me how to clean the filter in it, leveled the machine.

He informed me that there might be a problem with some other part too, so in case the problem surfaced again he told me to contact the manufacturer but so far the refrigerator is working well. I found the representative was friendly, helpful and professional. I will certainly recommend them to others and I will use them in the future.
