Description of Work: Oven heating element on the bottom part of the oven would not heat. I was happy to see previous reviews about fair service. James was great because he worked with my tenant to fix the problem around her schedule. Since I live in another State, it was a big help to have fast and fair service.

Description of Work: The first time James fixed my washing machine 03/2010 for about $178. He came on a Sunday. I was very pleased with the service and the price. The second time he came was 08/2011 to repair my range. It had never performed correctly but now it does. James just came again the other day to repair a refrigerator in the garage. He charged $50 for the service call. The frig could not be repaired but since I live in York I did not think the charge was out of sight.

Description of Work: Called this company to fix our washer. Dean came out the same day we called (which was short notice), diagnosed the problem (water pump) and fixed it on the spot. Luckily, he had a replacement water pump on his truck. Can't say as I was thrilled with the price, but it was fair. Would definitely recommend them to friend or family, and would use the them again myself.

Description of Work: Very informative in my troubleshooting of my refrigerator problem! They try very much to help, so that a service call is not needed. They really know what they're doing; and I greatly appreciate their "on target" experience! This was all done over the phone.

Description of Work: Listing states guaranteed email response in 2 hrs. No response and its been 10 hrs. Going to contact another company off Angies list and see how it goes. I'm not very excited about paying for this list and my first attemept at using it is a waste of time!

I spoke to James from 123 Appliance Repair on Friday morning and he gave me an estimate and 2 hour service window for Friday afternoon. James arrived during that service window, spent about 20 minutes on the repair, and the cost was as estimated. James was a pleasure to do business with and left the laundry room neat and clean.

Description of Work: We spoke with a service person on the phone explaining the problem with our dryer. After some specific questions he helped us decide our dryer was dying and we needed to buy a new one not repair the existing one because it would break down again. It was a delight not to be charged a service call to decide this. I will use them again as well as recommend them to friends.

James came over later that day and we found out it was the water pump. He ordered a new part and installed on Tuesday. They are the only firm I'll call in the future. James is a very nice man and I enjoyed meeting him.

Description of Work: My washing machine quit filling about 4 pm. My husband looked at it and said we needed to call someone. Went to Angie List and saw this co and the fact they had a coupon. Called them and they came out by 6 p.m. Fixed the machine and I was doing my next load.

Description of Work: My dryer went out and I call this morning and James and I talked about my dryer. He told mehe would be at my house between 5 and 7 and sure enough he was on time and very helpful. Thanksfor a nice job!

Description of Work: Our washing machine flooded our downstairs with ankle deep water. James came to check out the reason the washer flooded. Once he heard what brand it was he was sure of the cause. When he opened the washer to check it he was right. He fixed the issue and detailed the issue on his invoice for the insurance company. James was professional and knowledgeable.
