Everything was perfect!!

Rick, our technician, was extremely pleasant & professional. He diagnosed our upstairs unit in minutes @ no charge. He listened to my repair/replacement thoughts & provided valuable feedback including cost effectiveness of various options. Rick patiently answered many questions & offered to setup a new system consultation. He also professionally serviced our downstairs unit & provided status on it's various subsystems. Rick was awesome & I'll have him do all our HVAC work in the future. I'd definitely recommend Rick & A Plus Heating & Cooling, but I'll note that their office needs some organization. After scheduling my appt, another person called twice to schedule, inc a call after my completed appt. Also, appt was between 9-noon. Called at 10AM for rough arrival time & was told appt was between noon-3PM, but he'd arrive around 1:30PM. I didn't have other plans, so wasn't a problem, but I wouldn't have been so patient if I'd taken time off work.

The AC unit had to go in a very tight space and they figured out the best way to do it and it is running great. Inspections have been thorough and the tips the technician Dave W. Gave us will help save on our electricity. He was very knowledgeable. After working with two other AC and Heat companies in the area I am only go going to choose A Plus Heating and Cooling!

this is a rereview of previous lower rating. owner of swift brought two technicians out, check system thoughly and corrected problem. most excellent service and repair. prompt and competent. very pleased with followup and previous lower rating was raised by their service.

A+ lived up to their name. Donta Smith did a great job! Really neat work. I would definitely use them again.

Repairman was punctual. A+ sent his photo beforehand for identification - much appreciated. Service was performed with no residual mess and was completed efficiently. I would definitely recommend A+. We used them several times and each time we were completely satisfied. Around these parts, you get what you pay for with repair work.

Work needs to be scheduled after part arrives. They did leak test today,

Estimate was fair and work was done as promised, 2 days later. Electrician arrived on time with all materials and completed job in 3.5 hours. Work was neat and site was clean upon completion.

It went well accomplished in one day has promised.

I was impressed by the fact they did not pressure me into anything I didn't need. They were professional during the process.

Initial installation went smoothly, but things started to go awry within just a few weeks. Overall, we have had a total of over 10 service calls in first 5 months to repair or replace items that have failed to function or were not installed correctly. Paul, the lead HVAC Service Tech, has bent over backwards to make things right for us and we appreciate all of his efforts. To their credit A+ has been responsive and professional in their efforts to repair / replace needed items - and have provided a few additional upgrade items at no cost - its just a shame we've had to have them out so often in the first few months.

Well, before leaving the house, the repairman SHOCKED me with a bill for $281.00 for his 40 minute visit. The $63.00 diagnosis wasn't what bothered me. BUT his charge of $160.00 for a breaker that you can purchase for $8.98 at Home Depot (see my photo) was OUTRAGEOUS! PLUS a charge of $37.00 to pop it in the fuse box (WHILE HE WAS THERE ANYWAY) (see my other photo, a copy of the invoice I was left). I told the technician that this was an outrageous charge, to which he agreed but said he could not do anything about it... As you can see I wrote "UNDER PROTEST" on the invoice and only paid $200.00 telling him I was going to his office to complain to the owner, later in the day, which I did. Of course when I arrived there the owners were nowhere around, but I did receive a call the next day from the billing clerk explaining to me that this was indeed a "mistake" and I was overcharged by $100.00 due to the tech using a "new" price book that was incorrect......... REALLY ???... IS THIS COMMON PRACTICE FROM THIS COMPANY?? Are we to believe that the Tech really did NOT KNOW he was overcharging more than $100.00 for a single FUSE ?? And when questioned, he did NOT realize a "mistake" was made ?? YOU decide before ever calling this company if YOU want to take that chance..From this experience, I have to believe that this is a common trade practice and this company routinely preys upon its older, more vulnerable clients by overcharging as much and for as long as it can get away with. Be very careful here. Sorry, but A+ gets an F

The gentlemen were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous.

Installation went as planned. My condo unit had a design constraint that required specialized expansion of space to accept dimensions of new wall mounted air handler. The unit was installed soundly. Air flow has greatly increased within my unit; cooling is most effective. A significantly larger filter is now required but welcomed. The team worked efficiently and professionally; they answered all of my questions gladly and patiently. The wall cover plate that was installed was found to have some superficial scuffing; A+ promptly offered to replace the cover without initiation from me; it was promptly replaced. My installation team included two HVAC professionals and one electrician (surge protectors). Based upon myresearch prior to contract I determined it is generally prudent to purchase a labor warranty to coincide with the equipment warranty. I also chose to install two surge protectors to help protect against equipment damage from lightning strikes common to this area. I opted for the model that protects electronic connected equipment. Throughout this process I have been handled with care and respect. Mitchell paid a personal visit to discuss solution option and pricing, then was available as I needed to answer follow up purchase decision and post-install questions. When my old system began failing, the A+ team provided a temporary solution to keep me cooling until I could be scheduled for install (3rd business day) during a most oppressive upper 90's heat wave that placed high demands upon cooling service providers. I have subsequently scheduled an upcoming dryer vent cleaning with A+.

I called from out of town at 8:05. My daughter was staying at the condo - I received a call at 9:30 that it was completed. They said they would call me later to get payment. Amazingly prompt and professional. Will use again and would recommend to anyone.

A+ installed the HVAC system in our newly built home in 2012. Shortly after we moved in during the summertime heat, the AC stopped working. Although A+ was prompt, the AC only worked for a short time after they left, and they had to return for a second call. In 2013, we had them install a media filter, which went fine. In the fall of 2014, I opted to go with another firm for the HVAC contract. When that firm did the fall cleaning, they told me that neither the strip heaters (warm the air while the unit is defrosting in cold weather) nor the thermostats had been wired correctly. We thought we were feeling cold air from time to time! Because the HVAC broke down when the house was new, and another contractor discovered the installation errors, I wouldn't hire A+ again. We went two seasons with cold air blowing at times1 in the cold weather. Thankfully, our new contractor did not charge extra to correct the installation errors made by A+. It was covered in the inspection contract. Let's finish with something good: All technicians who worked in our home for the contract cleanings were polite and professional. To give the benefit of the doubt, perhaps A+ used subcontractors for system installation in our development. But I'm disappointed that the problems weren't caught in the two years we were they had our business for the maintenance contract. During my dealings with A+, they did not accept American Express.

A+ did a great job from the quote to the installation. First they provided a very aggressive quote on a 16 seer unit. The installation team of Kyle and Aaron rocked it. They started the installation on a Wednesday. I got down on Thursday and could not tell they had been on site except for the new equipment. They came back on Friday to finish up and were very professional. They had several things they had to upgrade to meet new building codes and did a great job. We also had to change out the thermostat to work with the new equipment. They were great with getting it set up and working. Very positive experience.

It went very well. We have not had any cold spots in our house since receiving the new system. The new system was bigger than the old and made a lot of difference.

The installation was a little longer than expected do to unforseen requirements with copper lines. The crew did an excellent job with the re-work. There were NO additional charges from the contract price. The day lasted until 10:00 Pm

They get all A's and will use them again.
