A Plus Heating & Cooling

Showed up to our service with a sales guy who said we needed to replace both AC units before he laid eyes on them. We purchased the units through a+ and still have 2 years left on the warranty. They also claimed all 3 capacitors needed to be replaced for a total of 900$. a+ heating and air took advantage of my family.

Arrived on time on the day we called A plus. Lionel was courteous and knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem. He got a temporary fix so the AC is working while we decide on a long-term solution.

We hadn't used our air conditioner this year and requested service. The technician Kevin did a thorough review of our system. The air conditioner had no Freon so there was a leak. Kevin clearly explained our repair options and expected cost . Based on the fact that our unit was seven years old and is at the beach it was determined the most cost effective move would be to replace.

Not well. The technician first tried to sell me duct cleaning and then said a sensor was bad with a replacement cost of $208.00. I was suspicious and asked him to leave. I had to call another firm to come down and fix what the young man did. He left the capacitor unplugged that starts the motor. The other firm confirmed there was nothing wrong with the pressure sensing module. The last 3 times this firm performed my semi-annual service they tried selling duct cleaning or some other maintenance issue. I truly believe they pay their techs to build an invoice similar to what service estimators at car dealerships do.

Jonathan was very professional and easy to talk to and answered all my questions. He was well prepared to deal with the proper COVID precautions. He did a terrific cleaning of the compressor outside that made it look like new. Recommended. We have a service

Just had two HVACs installed by A+ Heating & Cooling through Costco's program. A+ made both the sales process & install very easy. The installation team did a quality job & were very professional. In fact, everyone I spoke with from A+ was both professional & nice. Our new units work great & I expect we'll see much lower electricity bills.

Checkup went very well. The technician spent a lot of time effectively looking at my two systems, diagnosing problems and issues, and trouble-shooting as necessary. He answered all my questions, walked me through some technical issues, and recommended a product which may help deter mold and mildew growth on my systems. He was very easy to work with and very knowledgeable. The company was easy to schedule appointments with, and very helpful on the phone.

Service was scheduled immediately, technician arrived with time scheduled, worked on system, explained in detail the issues and made adjustments as requested. all done in timely, professional manner to my satisfaction.
