Description of Work: Rob set up the appointment by phone. When he was running a little bit late, he called us to let us know and he arrived by the new time he gave us. They performed a complete chimney and wood insert cleaning. Took over 2 hours to ensure they did it correctly. They left absolutely no mess, scratched no furniture or floors in the process. I highly recommend them!

Description of Work: Rob inspected both chimneys. One chimney is a gas conversion and Rob advised me my options which were in line with the city's code. The second chimney was inspected and Rob determined it to be a fire hazard in it's current form. The chimney "looks nice" to us, so we'd likely have just used it not knowing any better, but we appreciated the expertise Rob provided. Rob's advice regarding both chimneys was in our best interest, not his own monetary gain, and we appreciate that level of integrity and professionalism.

 + 0 moreRob's team provided great service. We recently purchased home and had no idea if the chimney had been cleaned recently. We just kept smelling smoke every once in a while when wind blew. They arrived promptly and began to clean the fireplace immediately. They insured that the area around the fireplace was covered and protected. Cleaning was done within an hour as stated and visual inspection of both the inside of the fireplace and the outside chimney were done. Recommendations were made for small repairs and there was no hard sell for them to do the repairs if we could do it. Really impressed by their professionalism and will definitely recommend them to friends and family in the area. if you are looking for a knowledgeable and prompt chimney service this company can provide it. They even put us on the list for cleaning call in spring to remind us each year.

 + 0 moreI found Rob's Chimney on Angie's List and made an appointment for a time when I could be home. Rob and his assistant laid down protection so not to scratch or dirty my floor. He inspected the inside and outside of the chimney and then cleaned out the debris. I had just moved into my home so I was not familiar with the workings of the fireplace. He explained how to open and close the damper. He talked to me about the kind of fireplace lining I had and how to work with it when I build a fire. There was cracking around the fireplace from settling and I needed rust proofing on the chimney top. Rob gave me a fair estimate and he worked with my schedule to return.
