Description of Work: First of all, the price seemed fair. It wasn't a big job, but way too much for one person who has physical limitations. It was supposed to be $300 for 3 men, for 3 hours. The men who showed up weren't the 'provider' (Chris Barrenger) as asked in this questionnaire. Both Chris and his wife were both extremely professional over the phone, but that's where the professionalim ended. Although the 3 men who showed up were very punctual, yet they seemed in an awful hurry. I kept mind of the time while trying to keep up with them, and although there wasn't an awful lot to offload, at any given point one worker would be in the trailer smoking cigarettes, and on several occasions two would be in there giggling and laughing, which I didn't take personally, but it was certainly immature and very unprofessional. Everything was pretty much offloaded within 2 hours, and right when I expected help for the last hour, one employee looked at his watch and said "well, we've got to head to Charlotte for the next job!". When I asked about the 3rd hour, he said "30 minutes travel time is part of the deal, times two, so unless you want to pay more, we need to be going." Neither Chris or his wife made any mention to this, and besides, they're not even 30 minutes away, and since their next stop was Charlotte, while they'd supposedly ask for travel time for their next client, it struck me as awfully lame. So, they left anyway. Professional movers know full well that lots of general nuts, bolts and other hardware comes off things and is left on the floor of the container or trailer, so they at least sweep up while picking up key odds and ends. None of that was done, and the trailer, which was my responsibility, was not only a mess, but I must've picked up a dozen cigarette butts that were strewn everywhere, including the street below the trailer. I later found several key screws that were part of a 200+ year old antique - had it not been for the kindness of the trucker who picked the trailer up, I'd have never found these things. It was basically 3 very hurried strong backs against a half able-bodied old dude, while no one appeared to be in charge of the others. Moves are always somewhat frantic anyway, but even though it was a very small job for Barringer Movers (where the 3 men sent made that very clear), I deserved much better no matter the cost. Moreover, I feel I deserved to get the FULL service I was paying for, and not being left holding the bag after only two brief and hurried hours of help. I feel my overall grade of 'C' is being awfully generous. There was no follow up by either Chris or his wife, only by Angie's List.
