The outcome was amazing! Quality of work was excellent. We are truly pleased. What we had done: -Tear down and removal of entire Master Bath down to the studs. Removal of old carpeting, and wall paper from the Master Bedroom. -Build new walls for Master Bath, install pocket door, new cabinetry, custom tile shower, tile floors, shower fixtures, vanity fixtures, new toilet, and electrical (recessed lights, exhaust fan, vanity lighting). - Master Bedroom: skim coat walls, remove stippling from ceiling and smooth out, move one HVAC vent, install hardwood floors with quarter round, recessed lighting, replacement of all electrical outlets and switches, move and install new ceiling fan, installed new baseboard and crown molding, replaced Master bedroom door. - Please note we provided all tile, cabinetry, granite, fixtures, faucets, sinks, toilet, switches, receptacles and wood flooring (including under layment and quarter round), PROS: -Although not always on site, any time we had a question or concern, Chris replied (or called) us promptly. We worked out a plan for him to contact us when work was being scheduled, it was a little getting used to at first, since this project took 8 weeks to complete, workman were coming and going at different days and times and Chris did a good job at keeping us informed as the project went along. -Demolition crew was quick, the tear down finished in a day and half! (Wall paper took a little longer, but that was to be expected). -We had custom tile installed, Mike who installed it was a true "artist", his suggestions and recommendation turned out a gorgeous custom shower for us! - Electrician, and plumbers did a great job as well -Chris has a good crew of people working with him. We are very pleased with the outcome of their labors. CONS: -A note about drywall finishing... we had our master bedroom walls, ceiling, and master bath finishing work done as part of this removation. Although the outcome of the work performed was excellent, the work being performed was extremely messy. During the course of the finish work (mudding the walls and skim coating), the mud got everywhere! I had to completely and I mean completely cover everything is his path, in my guest bath ( which I did not have the foresight to cover, all over my front door, my stone front porch down my driveway (he did not clean his shoes off entering and exiting my home). Needless to say he made a very messy job a whole bunch of work for me during the process. OVERALL: I would definately use CT Enterprises again, the quality of the work they perform, and the end results speak for themselves. If you are on a fence between contractors, don't hesitate to contact them. PHOTOS: I have not posted any photos as yet, due to our glass shower doors (separate vendor) have not yet been installed and we are still awaiting the delivery of the remainder of our furniture. If allowed I will post once those pieces are in place.

I had a terrible experience with a previous contractor and as a result of that contractor's shoddy work my new shower needed to be completely remodeled. Needless to say I was a little nervous and upset about hiring someone else and having to rip out a shower that had just been installed . All of my worries were in vain because Chris and his team were fantastic in every single way! They were always on time and I always got a super fast response to my many questions. I was very concerned about construction dust and they took great care to ensure my furniture was protected and stayed clean. They got started very quickly and the job was finished on time. And they did an AMAZING job on my shower. It looks better than I ever could have imagined and they really went above and beyond with little custom touches. I am beyond thrilled with the work. I will never hire anyone else again!

Absolutely great- Chris was fast, very communicative and really knows his stuff- his crew was very nice and friendly and willing to tweek anything on suggestion. I will absolutely use him again!

It went perfect! We had a wonderful experience with Chris Tarske, owner of CT Enterprises. He stayed on top of the reconstruction of our kitchen from beginning to end. He checked on each worker that came to our home. One made a small mistake and he had it redone. We had subway tile put in. We plan to have a bath remodel and I would definitely hire Chris Tarske to do the remodel. I could not be happier with the new kitchen! Ann Hykin.

Chris and his team maintained professionalism and was very pleasant throughout the entire job. The demolition process was clean and well contained. When meeting with him for the first time to discuss ideas for the remodel job, he was very intuitive and provided me with a beautiful design. Chris always kept me informed when he and his team would be performing the various remodeling stages and was very punctual. My husband and I are well pleased with the job he and his team did for us. We got several estimates from other contractors that we found here on Angie's List and from word of mouth. Chris at CT Enterprises wasn't the least expensive option, but he was in line with most of the other estimates and remarkably less expensive than the guy from the big box store. We found Chris personable, he showed up for the estimate when he said he would, he had design suggestions that we liked, and he showed us before-and-after pictures of his other work. We were sold. He communicated with us clearly about the time frame for getting work started. An emergency came up with one of his workers and he had to push the start date back a week, but he immediately let us know so we were fine with that. He used as much of the old deck as he could, but that really just amounted to the footers and joists. Even so, the deck went up quickly, in something like three days. It rained right at the end so we had some leftover building debris in the backyard for a few days. The only way to get equipment into our fenced-in back yard is by driving across the front yard to the only sizable gate in the fence. Chris called to explain that under those circumstances, he didn't want to take a chance on ruining the wet front yard with his trailer so he would be out to clean up when everything dried up. We definitely appreciated the thoughtfulness and were happy that he followed up. Everyone who has seen our new deck loves it and asks for our contractor's number. We are thrilled with the way it turned out and will be calling Chris for any other contractor work we need done. We are happy to recommend CT Enterprises to anyone and everyone.

CT Enterprises Construction is nothing less than a class act! The owner Chris was ALWAYS very responsive and prompt and a true professional and down-to-earth nice guy. His subs were all top notch and truly had an in-depth level of attention to detail. I had gutted the entire master bathroom which included removing a soaking tub, a pre-fab shower enclosure, double sink vanity, all ceramic tile flooring and toilet. Chris' workers re-plumbed the drains from the soaking tub drain and water supply and shower and relocated the vent pipe that was unexpectedly in the wall between the tub and shower that was removed. His tile sub did an excellent job using the Schluter system that Chris recommended and it is THE best system by far for replacing an existing shower and flooring. They tiled the entire bathroom floor and the new shower walls all the way to the ceiling. Chris' plumber was the best. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris and CT Enterprises Construction for whatever your renovation or even new construction needs may be. I am a retired federal government construction contracting officer and have seen a lot of good and not so good construction contractors in all of the trades and I'd go so far as to say CT Construction is one of the best. Get a quote from him at least. He convinced me and is now my go to guy!

The 2 carpenters arrived early (a friend said "No WAY!!!"), they saw the scope of the project and started right away. They did not take a break. We were paying by the hour (estimating the amount of time the project would take was impossible, thus the hourly rate). Some contractors would drag their feet, but not these two guys. They refinished the small places of newly exposed wood that needed it, and left the house with all their tools and sawdust. Awesome.

INITIALLY WE WERE PLANNING TO REPLACE ALL THE FLOORING, PAINT INSIDE AND OUTSIDE AND REPAIR THE DECK. WHEN WE MET CHRIS ONSITE WE BEGAN TO REALIZE THAT WITH HIS IDEAS, CREATIVITY AND VISION WE COULD NOT ONLY CHANGE THE OUTDATED LOOK OF THE HOME BUT ACTUALLY TURN IT INTO A RESIDENCE WITH A NEW AND MUCH MORE MODERN APPEARANCE. CHRIS KNOWS WHAT WILL WORK AND NOT WORK FOR YOUR PROJECT, HE KNOWS THE COST OF ITEMS AND CAN HELP YOU LOCATE THEM AT A REASONABLE PRICE. After obtaining 4 estimates I contracted Chris to build a bathroom and install heat in my partially finished basement and to build a shed on my property. The reason I chose CT Enterprises was because these tasks were difficult; the bathroom was in a basement and so waste water had to be pumped up to the septic system and the shed was to be installed on sloping land. Chris had solutions to these problems right away. Chris and his crews were also very good about asking what I wanted done when things hadn't been made specific in the contract for example, how many and what kind of shelves did I want built into the closet. He advised me on things I hadn't considered and his advice was always sound. And when, in some instances, I chose some alternate to his recommendation he would do exactly what I wanted. The results are outstanding! I also asked Chris and his crew do a lot of miscellaneous 'handyman'-type tasks around the house. All of these 'little things' were taken care of completely and efficiently. Lastly, Chris always responded to questions, texts, phone calls quickly and respectfully. I highly recommend CT Enterprises and if I should ever need the services of a contractor again I know exactly who I will call.

Another beautiful job done by Chris and his crew, Mike and Nick. Our existing deck was very narrow. Only 8' wide in places. A 10' x 20' extension was added and a pergola was constructed to cover the existing and new deck. It looks fabulous! We now have a spectacular out door living space. They went above and beyond for fit and finish and it shows.

The job took a few weeks longer than expected -- due to family emergencies, weather and some communication issues -- but the crew did an excellent job on the shed.

Job required multiple sub-contractors. All had different skill sets but were equally hard-working and pleasant to deal with. At first I thought the price a bit high, but as I saw all that was involved I feel it was a very good value. Chris was good to work with and maintained good communication. I couldn't be happier.

Their service was absolutely exceptional! I would use them again for any project that I have in my house. They were very accommodating, sensitive to timing and did a beautiful job!

Chris and his team were very professional and did a great job. There were a lot of different repairs going on, and Chris communicated consistently throughout the process to make sure that everything was going the way I wanted. He came up with good solutions in various areas that resulted in a better outcome than I had envisioned at the start. He also came up with good solutions in various areas where I simply wasn't sure how best to proceed. Chris seemed to understand the trade-off between spending more money than is necessary and spending so cheaply that further repairs might be needed sooner rather than later. Finding that balance was very important to me. He also proved to be the first contractor (out of quite a few) who has ever returned to finish up a small detail after having been paid in full, in spite of his demanding schedule. Contractors I have dealt with in the past have never kept that kind of promise. This simple act indicates to me that Chris values integrity. One of the ductless mini splits that he installed started leaking (4 months later) inside the house during a stretch of hot and very humid days. He stood by his work. He and his dad came out, checked out the unit, and fixed the problem. Some foreign material had been left in the unit/drip pan during the manufacturing process (our best guess) which migrated and ultimately clogged the drain line at the pan. Problem solved. I would not hesitate to call Chris in the future if needed. In fact, I've already got him working on new windows for my mom's house!

We used CT Enterprises to build a deck at our home. Chris was very responsive and extremely professional. We made many changes during the planning stages and he was very patient and was willing to adjust his proposals to accommodate our indecision with no qualms. He did a tremendous job and we are extremely happy. We are going to continue to use him for all future jobs and would highly recommend his services.

Chris and his crew do a great job. I initially hired him to do a small electrical job and while talking with him found he also did bathroom remodels. Everyone who is part of his company is amiable and easy to work with. The tile work in the first bathroom is beautiful and meticulously done by Patrick who also did a great job with the cabinet installation on the second job. The second bathroom remodel was almost a rebuild and it turned out great. I am pleased with both remodels and would rehire Chris. He is talented and innovative. His father did a great job with the plumbing and bathroom cabinet installation and was up the challenges presented with both remodels. I have seen other remodels done for friends and Chris, in my opinion, did a better job.

Steve was very easy to work with. I live in California and met him once at the property to let him know what I wanted and he took it from there. Work was accomplished on time for the price he quoted. I would highly recommend him.

I would recommend Chris' company to anyone that wants a great job at a very good price. Ken and David were wonderful to work with. They care a great deal about the quality of their work...and it shows. We felt very comfortable with leaving our home in their hands whether we were there or not. They were also great with our dogs! They felt like old friends by the time they were done. It took longer than we expected and the communication about their scheduling was difficult at first but that got better. They were incredibly good about accommodating changes as they were needed and came up with a few ideas that really improved how the room looks and feels. Chris had some very helpful ideas about the overall layout. Ken and David both made suggestions that really made the bathroom more functional and more beautiful It wouldn't be nearly as incredible without the input and patience of the whole team. Better than I expected. I contacted Chris for an estimate and he responded within 48 hrs. despite winter snowstorms. Chris showed me deck designs and made suggestions. He listened to what I was asking for and delivered right on target. I appreciated Chris type A personality. He gave me the facts and did not bad mouth any other work completed by other contractors. In addition he and the crew were on time, did not take long coffee or lunch breaks. Chris took care of getting permits etc. He always kept me in the loop with phone call updates or text messages. I know in the future I will have need for more contractor services, I selected CT Enterprises Construction as a trail for future needs. I will not heistate to call him in the future.

I was out of town when the work was performed, but Chris sent updates and pictures throughout every stage of the process. Excellent communication skills, and excellent craftsmanship! I am over the moon happy with the entire job except for a small painting issue, but as soon as I contacted Chris, he expressed his desire for me to be thrilled with every detail so he's coming out to see that the issue gets remedied. The willingness to follow up speaks even more regarding someone's character than if the job had been absolutely perfect, and it was very close to that anyway! I should also mention that my home was left clean after the job. I could see from the pics he sent that he went to great measures to protect my furniture from the dust that the demo of the closet caused. The attention to detail that Chris possesses is obviously translated to his crew. I will certainly use him again for any projects, in fact I'm about to get an estimate from him for pressure washing and sealing of the decks. Bravo Chris and your crew!

Although the work took a bit longer than expected, the end result is wonderful and worth it. Chris' guys ( Ken and Dave) were meticulous about doing things right and cleaning up afterword. By the time they left, they felt like family. I did not feel uncomfortable leaving the house while they were there. My dog adores them. I was always informed when the guys were going to show up or if there was a delay. Chris always responded to my questions promptly, by phone, text or email. I dreaded the mess and intrusion of having the bathroom redone. Chris' guys made it relatively painless. The quality of the work completed is super, every detail was taken care of.

This was the first time I had used Angie's List. I contacted several contractors and right from the first response from Chris, everything was handled perfectly. Chris came out to look at what I needed to have done and discussed all aspects of the work with me. I had several estimates and I'm so glad I went with CT Enterprises. Everyone who works for Chris is friendly and polite. My German Shepherd made several new friends while they were working! Everyone was on-time, professional and the work is amazing! I'd recommend Chris to anyone needing any remodeling work on their home.

I came across a contractor for the bathroom that had one review. I called and he was wonderful on the phone. He came out and gave us a quote that was fairly reasonable to redo the entire bathroom. He was very professional, but he sent this guy out that to do the drywall and mudding. When I came home that day and looked at the job he did, for this money this is not going to fly. There were too many imperfections and cracks. I called and he said that my drywall guys were on another job and this is not the guy that he usually used and that he would come out to look. He walked into the bathroom and pointed some things out. He came back the next day, re-mudded and sanded. It looked better but not perfect. Then the tile guy comes out and we pay a fortune for the tile for the tub. It was plain tile around the tube, then long strips for a foot area around the tub. When he started doing the foot of the long strips of tile around the top. The two or three sections he actually put in upside down. It's not that noticeable, but it is to us. After the job was completed, the guy who did the tile on the floor was excellent. I had gone through so much with them with the drywall and I was done. We would just have to live with it. When they put the door in the took a big chunk of plaster out of the hallway and they did not fix it. I would never use them again. It was just something all the time.
