Beautifully. Can not state in this short paragraph how helpful, courteous and gracious the folks at WS have been. Before restoration/repair work began our washing machine was repaired. A gasket hose was not reconnected properly by appliance repair person (not WS). That resulted in another flood from 2nd floor. Gary Walks worked all day Sat. to help remedied the new damage. All work looks better than before. Advice form WS was excellent. We are very grateful for all their help.

WS builders have been doing a great job finishing our large renovation that went terribly wrong with a previous contractor. Our house was left open to the elements for 9 plus months on an addition that was supposed to have been finished in 6. Things were left in a horrible state (we had framing issues, plans not being followed, etc.)..lets'just say the majority of the work performed by our old GC was done incorrectly and was not passing inspections. After WS poured through the mess (which did take a few weeks)..they came up with a plan ..and started fixing all the problems (including our roof, missing structural beam, drainage, replacement of a brick wall..etc..). After they fixed all the previous problems; inspections started passing left and right..things look great now..We have been under contract with them for little over 2 months and the sheet rock went up, we are dried in, brick is up..it is starting to look great! We are going to phase 2 with them which includes all the finishes.. Being on the other side of contractor h*** with our old contractors..We are all so pleased with the quality of work and professionalism that WS builders and Garry have shown us...they have been very sensitive to our situation. I'm telling you from personal experience "What a difference a good contractor makes"!! Thank you WS Builders!! Will update you all after Phase 2 is complete with pictures:)

I would have rated WS Builders an "A" but this contract ran over the quoted completion date by almost 3 months. While poor winter weather was partially a factor, as were some problems with owner-supplied materials, they got behind from the start and never really caught up, Then winter weather set in. The work of their subcontractors ranged from excellent to just OK. While their project manager was extremely pleasant and professional, we feel he may have been stretched too thin while managing several jobs.

Steve and the team do an excellent job - good communication if subs are a bit behind on other jobs. liked our options on where to pick out tile / stone. great price for the work.

Most sub contractors arrived on time. Disappointed that drawers in pantry not smoothed 1st time and had to make a return trip.

Steve and Garry made remodeling as pleasant as anyone could ask for. It was a long project with so many details to take care of, and WS builders handled them all efficiently and carefully. I highly recommend WS builders.

Contacted WS Builders, owner was prompt in returning my call and to schedule an appt. He viewed the worksite which was demoing existing deck, rebuilding larger deck and doing a screened enclosure. He indicated that he would have an estimate to me by July 5th. When no estimate arrived, I sent Mr. Percy an email on July 9th asking when I could expect an estimate, he left me a phone msg the evening of the 9th asking me to call him back. I returned his call on the morning of the 10th and he indicated that he had gotten jobs totaling $400K and would not be able to fit my job in. He did offer a friend that he knew as a possible contact. No estimate was ever given nor did he say up front that he was very busy. I

Salesman Promised us everything we wanted in contract .Then builder tried to take it all back . wanted change order after change order to give us what we thought we were getting to start with by our specification and contract. Example charged us over 8K for grading then did not do any then claimed our foundation exceeded height limit. Charged us 3200 more for block work. Builder never read contract or plans , we Specified siding we wanted then builder installed wrong kind and abandoned the project never to return. Cost me tens of thousands of dollars to complete home. None of the allowances for plumbing , electrical fixtures appliances etc were even close to actual cost even buying cheapest grade of stuff available. WS builders is same company as Vanderbuilt homes . Crooks and thieves, stay away, no run away from them if they approach. Most dishonest pair of hoodlums in North Carolina.

Though we weren't able to do business with the company, we were very happy with their response to our requests for information.

Excellent finished product. Very responsive contractors.

They were great, always prompt and professional. Finished a month early and were very sensitive to our needs. Our kids miss Wayne now that they are done.

Despite the rather small project, WS Builders were very responsive. They worked closely with us to complete the project just as we needed it. Withing time and budget.

All work was done in a timely and on schedule manners, workmen were tidy, friendly and can deal.

Throughout the entire process they were extremely professional. They did what they said they would do, and they did it when they said they would do it. More often they went far above what would be reasonably expected. It is obvious that ethics and doing the right thing are the foundation for their business. I would not hesitate one moment to recommend them, and we still have a few things we want to do down the road. When the time comes we will not consider using anyone else.
