Had him install our floor, we have places where it’s falling apart and buckling we paid 16,000.00 for a vinyl floor we thought was engineered wood. Highly disappointed and taking him to court We found him on Angie’s list but I don’t think he claimed the job on this site with Angie

I called Mr. Howard and for the jump very respectful well spoken. Immediately knew they was right for the job by the knowledge he had when it came to doing the deck porch and roof. His workers where kind and well mannered and actually cleaned behind themselves. I don't think I had any complaints to even complain about when the job was finished. Great company great workers great experience. I already have another remodel planned and I will definitely be giving A Step Above and Mr. Howard another call.

Service was very quick and efficient, someone was at my house within minutes after my call. A piece of siding had blown off of my house during a storm and I needed it reattached ASAP. The repairman was pleasant and polite. Cost was reasonable. My interactions with Matthew Howard Sr were professional and courteous. I plan to hire him for all of my future handyman needs.

Although backordered tile was an issue, the job was completed satisfactorily. Mr. Howard was great to follow up and check on the progress of the project. He was very concerned about cleaning the areas worked on and pleasant to deal with.

I needed someone to replace my leaking bathroom faucet. They were so nice and actually squeezed me in over his lunch the same day. They even got my husband's wedding ring out of the trap for us. Very professional and friendly. Did a great job. I will definitely hire again

Great. The contractor contacted me right away. He came out to estimate the job and to see what needed to be done and started on Monday and completed by the following Tuesday

They were up front about what we were facing and performed exactly what they agreed to repair. We really loved the siding that was installed after replacing all facia boards and soffit. They also fixed my front porch and covered it with siding and put up new guttering and new posts on the front porch. The whole job looks really good!

Arrived on time, went to the base of the chimney and identified hole on flashing in less than 10 minutes. Spent about 45 minutes making repairs. Opened small hole in second floor drywall next to chimney chase and identified water stain. Will leave open for a few weeks to test repair. Owner called to check on progress before carpenter left. He swept up in the room before leaving. I would not hesitate to use this service again.

They came early and got the job done. It’s been raining most of the day after they came. So far the water is traveling through the downspouts properly. We started talking about other work I’d like to have done and didn’t get to ask about a piece of downspout that’s too short. I’ll call. I’m happy as a bug in a rug! Thanks to all!

Was well pleased with the work they did and was shocked of how clean the cutters came. His employees were all very nice and worked really hard. Randy was here between 7 and 7:30 every morning and really worked the whole time he was here. We will have them do more work for us in the future. Thanks Mr. Howard for coming out and giving us an estimate. We had the estimate and work done in about a week.
