Our home improvement project was a big success thanks to Bill. This is the second time we've used Bill. Previously, he came in and repainted all of our master bedroom, living room, dining room and kitchen. Bill is a very talented man who knows how to get the job done. Most importantly, the work is HIGH QUALITY. As described above, Bill tackled many projects for us at a very fair price and awesome completion time. We would highly recommend Bill to others for all sorts of projects no matter the scope/size. Besides the high quality of work, Bill is a very personable person who can be trusted. We left our house unoccupied with him both times and we had no issues. We have dogs in the house and they love him. His talent and quality of work is not justified on his website. Thank you Bill for all your help!

I am sure there are other things he did but I cannot remember the whole list.

Everything was first rate and top quality. Three layers of old roof were removed along with all of the guttering. All debris and old materials were meticulously removed and the site was cleaned up very thoroughly. Everything went very smoothly and Mr. Thomas was very thorough and professional. I would highly recommend this company and I will be using their services again in the future.

The entire project went smoothly. Mr Thomas was on-time daily and came prepared with the needed lumber, etc. for the day's project and at the end of the day cleaned up the room for use. Mr. Thomas worked smoothly, efficiently and was very meticulous in his work. His skill at installing tile was outstanding. The job was completed in the time estimated and we were very pleased in the end result. If I have any need for remodeling in the future, I'll contact Mr Thomas without hesitation

It was a great experience!! Bill was very professional, a great listener and communicator. He was timely and always cleaned up before lunch and the end of the day. When Bill came for the estimate it was understood that there would be a wait as he had a couple of large jobs in the works. That was no problem as it had taken us years to decide to do the work and we had a lot of summer plans. He kept in contact and gave us notice when he would start the project. The work was completed in a professional and timely manner. We collaborated on a couple of issues to make sure that our goals were met. Bill did quality work and everything looks great!! It was a great experience with no stress and we now have a contractor that we trust and will call for future work. Thanks Bill!

I?m both pleased and proud to write this review because my experience with Bill of ?Thomas Home Improvement? was completely positive and I?m anxious for others to know they can count on him too. While, Bill?s workmanship is superb, my greatest pleasure comes from his ability to take my layman?s idea and turn it into finished product that is both functional and attractive. Bill was very professional, on time and cleaned up after himself. The workmanship was excellent and exceeded my expectations. An A+ rating doesn?t seem high enough. Without question, I will contact Bill again when I have another home project.

Bill came out for an estimate and we talked for quite a while about what I wanted, he made several suggestions/recommendations, he explained to me how he builds a structure(16" on center, thicker plywood on roof, etc.) and said he would get me a quote. We talked several times over the next week about details and I got the quote. He was not the cheapest but after talking with him and his explanations on why his quote was what it was I decided to hire Bill. He seemed to be thinking the whole project thru and getting many details included that none of the other contractors had even mentioned, and it was items that would need to be done which would have been $$ add on to the other proposals. Construction started and we fought the weather all spring but Bill was on site when he said he would be and always communicated with me what was next and any issues he was having. Construction progressed slower than what I wanted but it is Bill primarily working by himself and the quality shows, The shop is awesome, fantastic!! I am a very happy customer and will use him again in fact before he finished we had him quote some other things for the main house and are on his schedule to get these taken care of. We only had one problem the whole build and that was that the rafters/trusses fell over after being put up during a windstorm that evening. Bill could not have handled it better and had the rafters picked up the next morning, repaired and reinstalled the day after that only losing 1 day of schedule time. I was very impressed with how he handled the situation and responded to the situation. I did not look at it as a strike against him at all, but it reinforced that I picked the right company and individual to build my dream shop. I did not go with him because he was more than twice of other quotes I received. It was a professional business thing and he did a nice job with that. He didn't have to do any work; so it's hard to tell what he know or how the quality of work I would base it. It's hard to grade on the basis of the bid.

The professionalism with Thomas Home Improvements starts with the first phone call. A very pleasant woman answer the phone (Mrs. Thomsas) and makes your appointment for your free estimate. We had quite a few items that we wanted Bill to take care of. You could constantly see his progress around you. He's a like a master of a punch list. When the sheet rock was drying he was onto the back splash, when the paint was drying on the fantastic shelving unit he built, he was installing a attic fan. He continuously works and he works hard. When we were describing to Bill Thomas what we thought we wanted for our porch, he came up with a sketch within a couple of days. What we requested "was an original" and no else has anything quite like it. Bill is very creative and designed exactly what we had in mind....and it's beautiful! He scrutinizes his work as he goes and it has to be perfect. He is very methodical, organized and clean. You don't feel like your home is in turmoil because with Bill it's not. You can see a tremendous amount of progress, daily. He get's it done and he does right! We would "highly" recommend Thomas Home Improvements.

Bill did an excellent job. The loft looks great and we are truly pleased with his work. The project required some creativity and he quickly developed and executed his plan. He was punctual, finished the job when he said that he would, and cleaned up after his work was complete. In addition, he worked to fit the project within our budget. Thomas will be the first home improvement company we call for our next project.

Great!!! All work was done very well. He worked with my schedule whenever I needed to change the date. He was very clean. I would hire him again to do everything!!! Planning on using him when we paint the interior of our house. Answered all my questions when deciding on what roof and has been to our house before to fix other things. GREAT person and stands behind work!!!! Can't say enough great things about Bill!!!!!!!

Performed the complete process from bidding to hiring subs to finished product. Excellet individual to work with. Accurate and timely in all areas including communications. Bill is flexible and makes sugestions as to improvemnts over original plan and may perform changes with our approval. Best contractor I have worked with in a long time.

I began the process of obtaining bids from several companies in June and ended up choosing Bill Thomas because of his stellar references, professionalism, and positive attitude. I had to wait until October for the project to begin but the wait was well worth the time because of the finished product. I didn't know it at the time, but Bill is a perfectionist and the job was completed to my great satisfaction and stringent requirements. I would recommend Thomas Home Improvements to anyone who has the time and inclination to wait for a job well done.

I got several quotes and I am going to use them. They gave me a fair price. They are professional and I was impressed with them. Bill Thomas is doing work for two friends of mine. They were very good on the quote. They discussed what they are going to do. They were very responsive. I was satisfied and have no complaints. 11/16/2010 He was very professional. We were very happy with his work. It looks wonderful. He went out his make sure we were happy and pleased.

They were very professional. He was organized and seemed very knowledgeable. He provided a written estimate itemized by job along with the total amount.

It took a long time for me to start the project since I was waiting for the Home Owner?s approval for such a simple project. Bill Thomas is currently working on the project. He has done a wonderful job and I recommend him highly. He is very conscientious and his work ethics are good. I am sure that everything is going to be perfect. He does the work within the time specified and comes the next day to work on the same thing again. He is very good. We have two gable vents up at the peak which are round and are white. So he found matching ones and he is putting one in the front and one at the back. He had to match the shingles as much as possible. He is also building something on the roof so that the air could escape during strong winds. I called another company and their prices were too high. They didn?t impress me too. However, Bill Thomas has a lot of experience. He had built homes on 80 acres and so he knows how to build a house, a garage and practically do anything. I couldn?t ask for anyone better. He makes sure that he finishes the work that he would have said he would finish for the day. The price that I paid was very good. There was another person who I got an estimate from and he had no experience since he was a handyman. Everything about Thomas has been excellent and I would hire him again. Anybody who hires him is lucky. You have to wait sometimes in order to get a hold of him. I called him first on March 10. He is a very popular person and I would like to have him do other things too. He got the permit from the county on May 17 and started the project on May 26. He is going to start the next project when he finishes the current one.

Mr. Thomas did and excellent job from start to finish. Always let us know what his plans were for the next day and always called if plans changed or he would be here later in day. Couldn't get some of same siding as house but matched it so you can't see the difference. Saved us money where he could. Used great care in everything he did from construction to excellent drywall and painting. We are very pleased.

We recently purchased our home in Denver NC and had major renovation needs to make it "our home". Thomas Home Improvements came recommended to us through our Realtor as a great resource for any home remodelling project we would need. She was right! They were prompt, efficient and very reasonably priced. We knew right away Bill had great confidence and knowledge about our projects as he had been a builder of custom homes for 20 years. They kept our home safe and clean through the entire projects. We've used this company for 2 different projects to date and they've always gone above and beyond our expectations. They warranty their work and our new hardwood floors and new 2nd story back decks are beautiful. We would definately recommend them to anyone in need of a great remodeling contractor.
