Description of Work: I wish I could review their services, but we couldn't get that far. I bought the $399 termite "$1 million protection" plan last night. I was awoken at 8am this morning, with a high-pressure sales pitch about a $75/quarter pest control service. I tried to tell her I just wanted the $399 termite service, which is falsely worded to sound like a bond. It is not. She informed me that in order to have the termite protection, I at least had to pay $179 annually. I've had a termite bond on my house before, and they never charged me for the annual service. This is not a bond. I asked for time to look over the deal and think about it, and when she asked when she could call me back, I said later this afternoon. Less than an hour later, I received another call, and another high-pressure sales-pitch. My rating is based upon misleading advertising in the deal, rude and un-professional phone contact, and expensive requirements to keep the deal I already paid for. Update: High-pressure sales calls continued until I spoke with (sorry, I don't remember his name or role, but he's the one who updated this record with the company's response), and asked, again, for her to stop calling me. Maybe my expectation of low-pressure is different than this company's. I expect, when I say I will call them back, to not be called every few days, or every day. They were friendly and tried to be helpful, so that's a positive. For the record, I am struggling with chronic health issues, so, I am sick. When I don't feel like dealing with a phone call, I expect that to be respected. Yes, a local manager did come out. He was up front in that they don't guarantee anything - to get rid of the pests, etc., but they would try to control them. I appreciated his honesty. He said that the termite treatment would likely solve my other pest problems but it did not. Not all of the "trench" they dug around my house was filled back in, but mostly it was, and the rain took care of the rest over time. I'm now getting bills/many calls for the angie's list deal price invoiced, which I need to call and follow up on, because i thought the deal cost was taken care of. Roaches, ants, and other bugs remain an issue after initial treatment, so I need to decide whether to pay $75/quarter to have them come and treat with more chemicals and hope it helps, since it's not guaranteed. That any company cannot guarantee complete eradication of any or all pests is completely reasonable. I have, however, been told by other companies, that they would do their best and come back out as many times as it took to reasonably control the problem. Maybe this is just a different approach. I'll update again after I talk with the company rep. and if I decide to go with quarterly treatment.
