Description of Work: PTP did an excellent home inspection prior to our closing. It provided us a lot of detail we would definitely not have gotten from the builder. Would defintiely use them again.

Description of Work: Jim Matson came to do a pre purchase inspection of a home for me. Not only was he punctual but a little early. He explained exactly what the inspection would entail and encouraged the current owner and myself to follow along with him as he did the inspection. He was very knowledgeable and able to answer the numerous questions we both had. He pointed things out to us during the inspection both good and bad. At the end of the inspection he was able to print out the complete inspection and put it in a binder. The binder also included the standards for the American Society of Home Inspector, a seasonal checklist for home maintenance and a great section with envelopes to keep all of the paperwork associated with house: utilities, property taxes, home repairs etc. When Jim gave me my binder he went over every item that wasn't perfect and color pictures to show each thing in question, as well as, what would be needed to fix it. He made sure we understood everything and took us to any areas in question we asked him to. I was completely satisfied with my experience with Pillar to Post and Jim.
