Description of Work: They did a fantastic job. Frank is the company's liaison. He is an extremely personable guy. Frank came out to the house and thoroughly explained the drilling process as well as the cost breakdown. You essentially pay for a package that includes drilling and materials down to a certain depth. The cost can change depending on the soil conditions and depth of the hole. Frank really explains it all very well. But basically you are gambling in a sense as there is really no way to tell how deep they will have to go to hit water. We lucked out and the drillers hit at the packaged depth. So we did not have to incur additional cost. The drillers arrived a few weeks after they had initially intended do to poor weather and previous jobs that went longer, but that was somewhat expected. I would recommend waiting to landscape the area where the will be drilling. The drill rig is extremely heavy and inevitably significantly rutted the yard as well as break some existing irrigation. After the hole and pump were installed, we had to contract with another company to do the irrigation and electrical hookup. We also had to have the yard regraded and sodded in certain areas. But this is brought to our attention by Frank in the initial meeting, so it was no surprise. I say all this so someone considering putting in a well understands there are additional costs to consider besides the well drilling. Overall we are very pleased with Carolina Well Drilling. In fact we had a plumbing joint fail at the tank and Carolina Well and Frank came out the very next day to fix it.It was still under warranty so there were no repair costs.

+ -1 moreI'm very pleased with their service, they come out three times a year to check the plumbing in the well house as well as service our filter system. We've been using them for various projects over the last twenty years, including regular maintenance. They are always prompt and courteous. I have no complaints whatsoever about them. They have a great deal of expertise about what they do. They helped us during a drought several years ago, when we didn't have rain for sixteen weeks and we had frozen pipes. The prices have been reasonable throughout the time we have been using them.

They informed me the I needed a plumber and they spent 45 minutes and they didn’t charge me for their service since they couldn’t do anything and I appreciated that. They will respond very quickly if our water is out.
Description of Work: They drilled our well and they have also replaced pumps and pipes on occasion. They replaced copper pipes that eroded.

They have been good and will solve all the problems that arise. They didn’t try to sell me an extra pump. They are very professional. Their price is reasonable and their quality is excellent.
Description of Work: They pulled out the well pump and helped me troubleshoot and repair the issues. They repaired a broken wire on a submerged well pump motor which they had to lift up from about 100 feet in the ground.

They have been in business a really long time and that is a very good indicator of their service. They track all the work they do and know exactly when service was performed and what parts were installed.

+ -1 moreI chose them with the understanding that they could get the well and pump in the soonest. It did not turn out that way. It did take them a while to get to this job. They did install high quality products. If they had used some common sense when they installed the pump, I would not have to hire a landscaper to re-scape the area around the new pump. I would advise that if you use this company, know the location of the pump before they install it.

Description of Work: They replaced my broken pump with a (3/4hp 10 gpm) well pump with a 5 yr warranty. Price included an extra $100 for Saturday service!
