Description of Work: ARC Electric was also the Electrical Sub-Contractor for Griffin homes for our new home in Indian Trail in 2013.

Description of Work: Replaced can lights and dimmer switches in Master Bath with IC rated LED lights. Looks great. Works perfect and enabled me to add adequate insulation in attic with IC compliant fixtures.

Description of Work: Arc Electric has done a lot of work for us and they have always been on time and professional. I 'found' Arc Electric on our local radio station and called them and had them come out and talk about their 'current safe' program. This is where they look at all the outlets, fuse box, loads, and even heat outputs, through the use of a Thermal Image camera. I was impressed of their thoroughness and being in the nondestructive testing field, I knew about the thermal image technology and inquired about their training and certification. They are doing everything right and so I had them do their current safe assessment and then later decided to have them fix everything they found wrong, including getting our smoke detectors up to code. Our house is 20 years old and not only do the smoke detectors need occasional replacement, but we needed to have new ones installed in all the bedrooms and tied into the hall ones. They did this and later in the fall they came out and replaced ceiling fans and hanging lights as we're preparing to sell the house and changing the decor to more 2015 ish. Arc has also put in 3 or 4 outlets around the house that we've needed and have always done an excellent job. We'll continue to use them even after we move. Having someone you trust work on your house is really comforting. I believe they are competitive in their pricing, though they are not cheap. I think they are well worth the money because of the training and equipment they offer and bring to the job and of course the peace of mind of having it done correctly - the first time. |The cost to change out 4 fans w/ lights (1 being in 2 story family room) 2 hanging lights (1 in 2 story foyer) and 1 outside outlet was $600.00. It took almost all day, for 2 men and special ladders.

Description of Work: They fixed track lighting wiring, fixed a couple of electric outlet wiring, and inspected smoke detectors. Overall, it went well. I am out of state and the tech called me when they were at the property and let me know what needed to be done and that the work was completed.

Description of Work: ARC Electric Company of Indian Trail, NC Inc repaired a ground wire in one of the plugs in the kitchen that was causing half the house to be affected as far as electricity.

Description of Work: I used ARC Electric Company of Indian Trail, NC Inc for electrical work. The last time I used them was about few moths ago. There was an outdoor outlet that needed to be repaired and they did that.

Description of Work: Arc Electric was asked to investigate why power was not getting to four outlets, and to replace two receptacles. They responded within a day and scheduled a visit for the next day.
