Patrick arrived in the early portion of the 2-hour window. He as very courteous and professional and kind to our three children - who asked lots of questions. He found the GFI switch and then went to each outlet and checked to ensure they were working. He replaced a switch then went into the attic to see the layout for ceiling fan install. He told me about some of their other safety products - very informative and also helpful with having small children. We will most likely be using them again for ceiling fan install. They were based on a recommendation from a contractor and I was pleased.

A representative arrived next day after I called when I thought a wire was cut when having other work done in my home. He gave me an estimate by email that day. Arranged to have work done on a day convenient for me. Electrician arrived on time, fixed everything in a timely manner. Luckily every problem I had were minor so when I added a few items to my list, didn't charge me anything extra except for price of a part. Was very clean, used shoe covers when needed to go outside. He used barriers and vacuumed area when finished.

I was very pleased with their service. Their price was appropriate.

Electrician was very pleasant and efficient. Performed the work that was needed without any issues. He also looked at our bedroom to provide an estimate for installation of a ceiling fan. His supervisor was to email me an estimate but not received anything as yet.

We called on a Wednesday and talked with Jennifer, who was very friendly and professional. My daughter wanted to see if they could come Friday because she was returning early from vacation and would be off work, but they were closed for the holiday. I called back and asked Jennifer about a next-week appointment. She said they had one appointment left for tomorrow, Thursday about 8:00 or 8:30 if that was not too early. I told my daughter and she was thrilled, so I called back and made the appointment. They arrived exactly on time. They immediately did the work. The representatives of ARC that did the work were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They did the work in a timely manner, did a great job and cleaned everything up before leaving. We would recommend them to anyone for electrical work.

When he called me back, he stated that they would be unable to help me today (not that they were too busy). I reminded him that it states on the Angie's listing and on their website that they are available 24/7 for emergency service. He had no answer for me. I would not use them in the future and would not recommend them to others. I would expect them to revise their listing to state they are only available during regular business hours.

Overall the service was good. However, Patrick, the eclectrician did an insufficient check on the location of where the outlet could be placed and I now have two extra holes in my wall requiring fixing. I requested a discount and was provide $20.00 off. However, the discount provided was insufficient to offset the effort and time to repair and paint the wall.

ARC was the only electrician that actually called us back to setup an appointment after trying to get quotes from 2 other Angie's List electricians. Jason and Anthony showed up on time and started work right after giving us a quote. Because this was an existing house, running new wires would require holes to be cut into the ceiling and walls. Jason was well thought out and kept the hole sizes to a minimum and left pieces for painters to repair. We are very happy with the work the did. They were both courteous and professional. We will have ARC back out for future projects.

The appointment was for 2 pm. At 1:30 I got a call letting us know that they are going to be late, between 2:30-3:00 pm. Jason arrived at 2:45 pm. The job was to replace a ceiling fan in a double ceiling height room and change an outdoor light fixture. I showed them both the fan and light fixture and the place where they were to install. After reviewing the job they quoted $300 and after Angie's coupon for $25, total $275. Which in our opinion was a tad high but given that they were already there and highly recommended on Angie's list, we decided to go with them. Before they started the job, I asked them if the downrod and fan etc were compatible or if I need to run to Home Depot to change anything. They thought everything was fine but will let me know if any issues. No issues were brought up during installation. After the fan was installed, I noticed that the existing wall control for fan was not controlling the speed of the fan. I am not an electrician and am not knowledgeable about this stuff so I asked Jason about it. Jason mentioned that a separate remote needs to be installed to control speed as the existing one was not compatible. I told him fine, I can run to Home Depot to get one. He said it would be another $250 for that. My expectation is that a knowledgeable electrician would have let us know about this stuff before hand and quoted the price accordingly. When I expressed my disappointment about not being told about remote upfront, Jason stated that he just does his job and cannot expect to please everyone. Great customer service! I am not looking to get anything from this company, just want to express my frustration on a job not done professionally as expected from a highly recommended expert.

Arc Electrical was great! I needed improvement to my back yard lighting. They updated lights that were already hear as well as installed new lighting. They came up with several versions and pricing for me from installing a light pole in the back of my yard from scratch to changing LED lights to flood lights. They completed our project in one day. The guys from qote to completion were nice, helpful and great to me and my dogs!

We called ARC on Monday and they were able to make the service call on Tuesday. They needed to do a diagnostic call, and since we were not at the location of service, they did not complete the service until they gave us an estimate of cost. The repair was completed in a timely fashion and communication was outstanding. The repair person on site was in contact with us during the service call as was the office to handle the payment process. We will use them again if we need service.

The tech went all over our home following a rat maze of pre existing cables and splitters looking for a way to drop a line to a certain wall. After all of that he ended up going through the attic to add the line. In the meantime he described what was going on behind our walls, that the previous owner had done. He was personable and very friendly! We will definitely be using ARC in the future.

Patrick and Jeremy were on time and so nice. They did a great job. I work from home and even with having to cut into the hardwood floors and the walls, I barely knew they were there. I love that they came to do the estimate and then could stay and do the work right then. No need to schedule another appointment. That is a great convenience.

Patrick arrived within the window of time I'd been given (1:30-3PM) and he apologized profusely for being late in that window. I thought that was very kind of him, but he arrived with 5 minutes to spare! That kind of "lateness" is fine with me! There are some *cough*cable*cough* providers around here who view a scheduled window as merely a suggestion on what day to arrive, so I appreciated his concern about being prompt. Patrick looked at the switch and electrical outlet I provided. He called his office and they quoted me a price of $165, minus the $25 Angie's List coupon, so a total of $140, for the work. I thought this was a little steep, but Patrick was on site and I wanted the work done so I agreed to it. It took Patrick just a little more than 30 minutes to complete the work. The switches worked great, he worked quickly. He couldn't have been more polite and professional, and I was happy. The pricing, however, is a premium for the service in my opinion. I paid the premium price because I was able to call and have someone out on site within a day. My regular electrician, who is a sole proprietor for his company, charges $75/hour for work. Unfortunately, he's booked out 2 months in advance because his service and prices are so great. If you're willing to schedule out far in advance, check around for better pricing. I'd advise asking for an estimate on the phone when you call, which I should have done. Nonetheless, the work was done on time, and done well. For that, I appreciate ARC Electric's responsiveness and professionalism. Rest assured if I need work done in a time crunch, I will be calling them again!

Billy was fantastic - he arrived 10 minutes early and was extremely professional and friendly. He installed a light in a downstairs closet quickly and without incident, he made sure the area was clean and protected and vacuumed once he was finished. He checked a malfunctioning landscape light, and was kind enough to wait while we ran to Lowe's and bought a replacement fixture - and then installed it in less than 10 minutes. He even looked at a few other small jobs we had in our house to advise on how to proceed (light in breakfront, breaker in garage that controlled some kitchen outlets, etc.). He took his time and it was a fantastic experience. We are definitely going to call and have the whole-house surge protector installed. Also want to praise Mike, he answered my initial request for service within hours of receipt of my email. It was not a problem to schedule and everything went off without incident. Many thanks ARC! It went good, my wife was there and said if they were very courteous and let them prepare for when the lights would be out. We had moved into this house 2 years ago and have found over the 2 years things not working correctly. ARC Electric came in put our worries to rest.

The technician was friendly, well mannered, respectful, well dressed. He was easy to have when he was in our home. He did really well.

This was a BIG almost all day job. Patrick and Jeremy arrived on time and worked steadily for hours although they were happy to stop every now and then to answer my questions about a certain procedure. They were very professional and very pleasant throughout the job. Thomas and Patrick had been here prior to the actual work day and we were so pleased so see that Patrick returned to do the job. We will be recommending ARC to all of our friends from now on.

ARC handled the antique chandelier with care. They were polite and through making sure that my client was happy with every detail before leaving. GREAT JOB!

The woman in the office was extremely pleasant and very helpful. She said that a electrician would be out the same day and he could not have been more knowledgeable and helpful and also very pleasant. Fixed the problem quickly. My mother will be using them again very soon on another issue she talked with them about. Going forward they will be my mother's and my Electric Company. My roofing crew was stuck because we needed the services of an electrician to disconnect the power attic fans so they could be removed. I got on Angie's list and called several companies. ARC Electric of Indian Trail neither put me on hold or took a message - they dispatched Patrick within an hour. He disconnected four attic fans quickly, safely capping off the electric supplies so the roofers could continue. He is WONDERFUL!, This company gets very high marks from me in every category. The bill included a dispatch fee (kind of odd but I can't complain because the technician came promptly). I was given a $25 discount per Angie's List. The next day some the ceiling lights didn't work and Patrick returned to make a minor adjustment to wiring - NO CHARGE! It is impossible to praise ARC Electric of Indian Trail too highly; they are totally professional and more than fair. Highly recommended!!!
