I had been having a very bad leak in my roof which was leaking into my chimney down into the fire box and entering into the living room of the house. Even though I called a number of roofers that advertised "repair", many never responded or came in with such ridiculous prices or wanted to reroof the entire house, trying to use the repair as an opening to a bigger job. Universal came out, assessed the situation, and gave me a very fair price. They were honest, professional and courteous, and did not try to oversell me. All this happened around 4 days prior to the hurricane Hermine coming into the area. When they realized how serious my situation was, they moved me ahead and got in ahead of the storm by a few hours and completed the job just before it started dumping inches of rain onto my roof. These guys did a great job, and not one drop of water got inside due to the repairs they made. They will be my go to roofer when it comes time to put the new roof on. Thanks, guys, you were amazing.

They worked us into their schedule in a timely manner. The team worked in 95+ heat for two days straight and got all the work done. The house and gutters look great and they cleaned up all the mess. You can't even tell they were here. The guys were super pleasant and did a fantastic job!

Great. We live in a 75-year-old house. The gutters were literally falling off of the fascia, and the fascia in some places was falling off of the house. Eddie (at Universal) did a thorough assessment, gave us a fair price, and their team worked to get all of the work done in one day within budget. Eddie even came over to temporarily repair the fallen gutters in one spot on our house between our signing the contract and the work date. I'd use them again, but hope I don't have to for a long, long time. Very professional. Highly recommended.

After having success with the first contractor that I hired from Angie’s List. I decided to take a chance and hire another one. Based on previous reviews, I reached out to Universal Solutions to replace a missing shingle that was blown off sometime during the winter. When the representative, Eddie, came out and gave me a quote, I mentioned that I had some left over shingles that were from when I had my roof replaced. He informed that that we could use them. However, after getting other quotes from two other contractors from Angie’s List, I was informed that I could not use the shingles. I emailed and contacted Eddie via phone and we both agreed not to use the old shingles. Fast Forward a week later, I get an invoice in via email. I assumed that the work was completed. Once I got home to check my roof, to my surprise, they have not replaced me shingles but only nailed down the same shingles that was blown off. I contacted Eddie and explained to him what I discovered. He called me back and said that the repair was only a temporary fix and they planned one correcting it. I explained that I was not happy with the way things were handled and no one from his company contacted me to explain that it was a temporary fix but sent me an invoice as if the work was completed. After speaking with Eddie, the owner, James contacted me and apologized and said that with was a miscommunication. They came back out the next day and repaired the roof the correct way as promised. I’m not sure what happened with on the communication on their end, however, I can say that the issue was resolved the next day and James is a man of his word to get things corrected. He does care about his company reputation and that his customers are satisfied.

I was having problems with water leaking into my crawl space. After contacting Universal via email, I was contacted the next day, and the estimator came to my house the following day. After inspecting my roof for more than 30 minutes, he suggested a re-routing of the gutter to re-direct the water flow, in addition to some flash guards and general roof maintenance. Everything was explained in a very professional and intelligent manner. The work was completed the following week, and I could not be happier. No more leaks in the crawl space! The new gutter work looks fantastic. The workers were prompt, courteous, and totally cleaned up the work site when done.

UHS did a "Roof Tune-Up" on a home we were selling. This included: - Repair/install flashing - Caulk/seal - Repair gutters - Repair nail pops I had never heard of a "Roof Tune-Up", but I like the concept. I'm considering using them on the home we just purchased. Company was very easy to work with. Repair crew was professional and pleasant. Performed quality work. Arrived on time.

initially paid $150 for angie's list deal on gutter clean-out and roof tune up/inspection. Asked the provided to give me an estimate to install gutter guards on top gutters. Was happy with the initial service and estimate for gutter guards was reasonable so I went with it. Paid $560 additional for gutter guards and so far they seem to be working great! They were very honest and straightforward when talking to on the phone. Seem like honest people which is one of the main reasons I had them install the gutter guards. I would recommend.

Lost a few shingles on the roof during a wind storm so I called around a few roofing companies found on Angies List to get some quotes. In response I have got a myriad of quotes ranging from replacing the entire roof (keep in mind the roof was only 4 year old) to exorbitant numbers. James from Universal Home Solutions came along and he not only gave me the most honest opinion on the situation but also gave me the best quote which I thought was justifiable given the extent of damage. So I have decided to go with Universal and I must say I am thoroughly satisfied with not only the work but the way it was performed. James was kind enough to also get rid of an old dish antenna on my roof, for a very reasonable price. If you are looking for an honest (which is so hard to find these days), reasonable and professional roofing company, please take my word and look no further than Universal Home Solutions and call James Drummond.

The service was all that I could have hoped for. Prompt service, excellent work quality, follow through on the terms of the work, and clean up around the site after the job was completed.

We were happy with the service. The workers explained the work they would perform and gave a recap of the work and what they found after the job was done. They also gave some suggestions for improving our gutters when I asked about it. Although the company was booked solid for a week, they called us to schedule an appointment when a slot opened. This was appreciated.

Before work began the job foreman asked for details regarding the problems. He then explained in detail the work necessary They performed the work, including a thorough cleanup. After completion, foreman informed me that everything went as anticipated and he felt confident the overflow condition was taken care of. It was a pleasant experience without any surprises. This is a company I feel is trustworthy.

Fortunately, Universal had a crew in the area when I first spoke with James. In less than two hours they were able to come by. They quickly evaluated the situation, advised me of my options, and quoted a price. We agreed on an approach and they went to work. They were extremely efficient and professional, and as we watched them work it was apparent that they gave a lot of attention to detail. My wife and I were both impressed and will certainly call them again. We are also happy to give them the excellent reference they deserve.

He came out and inspected my roof on my relatively new home. He also cleaned my gutters and found where water was getting down into some underlying wood and repaired it. It was right before a downpour. He was very efficient, thorough, professional and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend his services to others. He is the most pleasant and responsive person to deal with.... he always answered and returned my calls very promptly. He went really went above and beyond and his crew were very professional and pleasant as well. Also, his prices are very fair and reasonable.

Called and promptly responded by sending someone immediately. The found the issue quickly. Provided a cost to fix and said that it could be fixed right then and there. I said yes fix it. The also cleaned out gutter adjacent to area.

They definitely cleaned out the gutters; however, it doesn't appear that they did much in regards to re-pitching them.
