Completed job on time and at price quoted. Very professional, cleaned up all debris and did a followup visit to install splash guards to prevent overflow at certain areas. Recommend highly.

My experience was pretty good. They did a great work. I couldn't ask for anything more. I like their communication.

They did fine. We were fine with them from their attitude to the way they did their appointments. They explained when they had to reschedule because of the weather. They were nice when they came. They did what they needed to do. The amount they charged was very reasonable. We were overall pleased with their professionalism. We are planning on having them again if we need their services.

They made time for me right away for an estimate and even cleared their schedule to fit me in sooner since I had to deal with an escrow account. They were super friendly and professional. Universal put all new top of the line gutter guards on my home and upgraded the down spouts. They worked all day and removed all debris - I haven't even found a screw! Universal helped fix major problems where water was just pouring in around degraded flashing, went over and sealed the roof with cocking on cracked shingles and exposed nail heads - said it should buy us some time until we can afford to replace the roof. It only cost about $200. He was very easy to talk to and was realistic. I would highly recommend his services.

I really liked dealing with the guy. He was very professional, answered my questions very efficiently, the billing was very clear and everything just went off really well. The clean up was really good. It was well done.

James responded to the Angie's Deal request quickly. He was punctual, professional, and helpful. He inspected and evaluate the entire roof and repaired a leak. He also cleaned out the gutters while he was on the roof. Importantly, he did not use the opportunity to sell a new roof. I will use him again for roof maintenance.

Did a great job in cleaning the gutters. Only one is they cleaned the downspouts well and I had to flush out the downspouts myself.

.James was right on time for the estimate. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and very nice. They were scheduled to start on Monday, 5/6/13. Due to a rain forecast of 80% James contacted me and wanted to know if it was ok to start early afternoon if the weather held. I said it was fine. Edward showed up right on time and started the demo. He got all the gutters down and thoroughly inspected all fascia. The next day, right on time, Edward replaced all the damaged and rotted fascia. He then sealed all the wood and primed it. He then painted all the wood. These guys don't slop paint on, they take their time, and are very detail oriented. He did a beautiful job. James then came from another job and together they started to put up the new guttering. Five stars and you can't find a better team to do your gutters or roofing.I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that Edward and James are true professionals. Their attention to detail, their expertise and knowledge are exceptional. It was a real pleasure to have them here. I can't think of an adjective good enough to describe these guys and the work they do. They are the best at what they do I have ever seen. Five huge stars!!!

Universal Home Solutions responded very promptly to our request - the job was done in several hours. The Chimney is now sealed to the house and the job was neatly done. The cost actually came in a little under the estimate. We're very pleased with their service and would call them again.

I was worried that I would be told that I need to replace our 10-year-old roof and get charged and arm and a leg. I guess I was preparing for the worst being a new homeowner.

They were on time, reasonable and very responsive. They were fine; I would not say that they were great. They did a good job and I would use them again if I had the opportunity.

I called Universal home solutions, James returned my call promptly, He set up an appt to take a look at the home.A couple of days later, He called while his worker was checking the house to tell me what needed to be done. I gave him the okay to proceed with the work. He re-attached gutters on two sides of the house that were loose. He also gave me a 10% discount. I would definitely use this company again.

It went very good. He was very easy to schedule with, he came out on time. He explained exactly what he recommended. He followed that up with a written estimate. I went ahead and went with the contract with him, within one week his employee came out to do the work to my satisfaction.

I originally asked for an estimate to completely replace the roof. They showed up and inspected the roof and told me the roof was still in good shape less than ten years old and offered me an estimate to replace the rubber pieces around the vents (dry rotted) and the flashing around the chimney (we had experienced leakage around the chimney and some of vents). They could have easily taken my money and replaced the roof but they were very honest. I called them back a week later to get the work done. They arrived at the appointed time and completed the work quickly . They cleaned up completely. I did not find one nail in the yard.

After James and the person who works with him completed the work, I was concerned when I found only part of the rotten wood on two of the windows was replaced. I hired a co-worker to inspect all the work, including the repairs on the roof that I could not see, and was told the work was all was done correctly except for all the rotten wood not being replaced on the windows. I contacted James, and he came out to address my concerns and said the contract did not cover the other rotten wood on the windows, which he said they had also seen. For $250 more the rest of the rotten wood, some which I had thought was covered by the initial contract, was replaced. One board above a window had not been noticed until after the repairs had been completed and I did expect to pay extra for that. Though I was disappointed I was not called the minute any rotten wood that was not covered by the contract was see, I am now satisfied with the repairs and learned in the process the importance of having a clear understanding of exactly what the contract is stating before signing it.

They really, really good to deal with. They were very professional and very fast, and very courteous. I will use this company again.

They came out to my house the same day I called them for help. They listened to my concerns, took a look at things, and then explained to me what they thought was causing the problems. Their explanation made perfect sense to me along with their recommended fixes. They sent me an estimate and then, upon my approval, returned to my home the next week to perform the work.

They were good, nothing negative. It was done in a reasonable amount of time. They were very responsive.

The company was very quick to respond to our request for a quote. They also let us know well in advance that the scheduled date to do the job was going to be delayed due to weather constraints. The repairman showed up exactly on time, got to work right away, and finished in a timely fashion. He informed me of future potential roofing/gutter issues he found while completing his work but wasn't pushy regarding needed repairs. He also did a great job cleaning up the debris he removed from our gutters.

This vendor was extremely punctual and thorough. An initial inspection was performed complete with a full description and photos. The work was done earlier than expected as well as at a very reasonable and competitive price. Great job and highly recommended.

I had hail damage from recent storms and my insurance company paid to have the entire roof replaced. I chose this company because of their good reputation and Mr. Drummand's exceptional knowledge and obvious intergrity. I had been having water leak into my den through the ceiling and wall and he corrected this problem by doing the roof job properly and correcting the gutter problem I was having. Mr. Drummond did not charge any extra to fix the gutter problem which required him having another contractor to assist and which needed an additional gutter. The entire process went well, from initial communications, all the way through follow-up after the job was completed. He came weeks later at my request to put up a splash guard on the gutter by the front entrance, something he didn't charge for either. He provided great quality and service.

James was extremely professional from my first call to him, to the finish of the job. He set up an appointment to visit within days of my call to view a leak we had in our gutter. He showed up on time and went up on the roof to view all the gutters, took pictures and showed me all the gutters and immediately cleaned out the one problem gutter, and repaired the leak on this first visit.He was very polite and prompt and I would recommend him to anyone needing gutter work. James is the most professional and honest worker we have hired since moving to the area in 2007.
