Things went well with Universal. The technician was very polite, professional and prompt. He was also very thorough. The company is very responsive, reliable and professional. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

The service was courteous, professional, and very worthwhile. The provider performed the cleaning and performed minor maintenance and repair on patches of my roof that were less than ideal before they became an issue down the road. I would highly recommend this service to anyone.

Great Punctual and professional.

This was an Angie's List Special for Gutter Cleaning. The service person did not call ahead as requested. The job he did was sloppy and largely incomplete. I asked Angie's List for a refund but only got a ridiculous, long questionnaire in reply.

He was professional and good. He has come out a few times after it continues to leak.

I originally bought an Angie's Deal to have Universal Home clean my gutters. They did such a good job I had them come back to look at changing the flow pattern of my gutters. James came out shortly after I contacted him to look at the job. He sent me an estimate the same night and the work was scheduled for the same week (small job). The workers were efficient and cleaned up after themselves. I'm very pleased with the outcome!

This took place a long time ago. I remember they did a good job. They did some minor repairs as well at no extra cost. They tried to sell me replacement gutters while they were here. Nothing wrong with that although it was far out of my price range and they sold pretty hard.

Angie voucher was for roof and gutter tune up and cleaning. They did the job and submitted an estimate for roof and gutter repairs. The estimate looked reasonable and we asked them to do the job. They came one day and did the job with minimum disturbance. Cleaned the area and submitted the bill which we paid promptly.

This was an Angie's Superdeal and it was super indeed! He called promptly, gave me an assessment of what he would do. The appointment was set for the following week. Someone was there right on time, got right to work and got the job done well and quickly. Wonderful experience!

I purchased an Angie's Big Deal for gutter cleaning and general maintenance repair. James, the owner, called the same day to schedule service and was able to have one of his workers that was in the neighborhood stop by that afternoon. Being a first time homeowner I didn't realize that the gutters had mesh guards on them and that would incur an additional cost. However, James was very upfront regarding the additional fees for the complete removal of guards, cleaning, re-install gutter guards and to replace x4 pipe collars. They were punctual, professional and courtesy. I would consider using them again in the future and recommend them to my neighbors and friends.

James was very punctual and responsiveness. With small children, I am not able to always answer a phone call, and he was very accommodating via email and text message. He came out the same day I called for a quote and we talked over everything. He gave me a quote on the spot and rounded down to give me a discount. He kept me informed, upon request, as to when his crew would come out to do the work as they had to account for weather, etc. The new gutter work looks fantastic and there was not a smidge of evidence that they had cleaned out gutters after their work was done - no debris left behind, etc. They were prompt and courteous. James is a local small business owner and takes pride in his work and company. I would recommend him to anyone! We are very pleased!

James was very easy to work with. The roof replacement involved an insurance claim and James guided me through the whole process. He even and arranged his schedule to meet with the adjuster when he came for the appraisal. My home is surrounded by a lot of mature trees with large leaves. James advised me on the best type of gutter guard system based on the type of trees. He is very detail oriented. He matched paint and advised on the best color for the gutter guards. He made sure everything was cleaned up when the job was completed. There was water damage to the ceiling in a room affected by leaks in the old roof. Even though he did not repair the ceiling he arranged for someone else to repair the ceiling. They did a great job as well, The entire job took longer than anticipated but this was in Jan and Feb when the Charlotte area received so much rain. James's associate worked in the bitter cold and even after dark to complete the job. Even though my review is being submitted months after the job was completed, I still felt it important to submit. I would highly recommend him to others needing this type of work.

Provider and employee were punctual, professional, and completed work in a timely manner. Removed debris from repair site leaving the work area immaculate. Would contact Universal Home Solutions again should the need arise and would, without reservation, recommend Universal to others.

Prior to purchasing an Angie's List deal ($150 for gutter cleaning, roof tune-up), I contacted the Universal Home Solutions and got a prompt reply from James. James was able to address my questions in regards to having gutter guards and (likely) more gutter length then the offer covered. Based on his response, I purchased the offer, knowing there would be some additional charges based on his estimates. I felt the estimates were fair, and I appreciated that he broke it out so that I could see the details. Work was completed as scheduled, unclogging four downspouts in the process (had no clue as I'd recently purchased the home) as well as taking care of a few small tasks on the room; due to it raining, there was some debris left in the gutters that I could visibly see after the service was performed. When I asked James about this, he explained that it would wash out in the next rain cycle. James then offered to have one of his techs come out and flush it the next week, which I thought to be a very nice gesture, in case it didn't rain for a while. Overall, very satisfied with the service. When I need this routine service completed again, I will definitely go with Universal Home Solutions.

Universal gave me great advice about which gutters to increase in size to handle overflow of water on areas of our roof that are steeply pitched. Also moved the angles of the gutters to better handle water flow. Repaired leaking seams in gutters. Universal did a great job with solving our water overflow problems.

I like them quite a bit. I would use them again if I have minor home repairs because they do more than roofs. They returned my calls promptly. They came in and out when we scheduled it. They did a good job repairing what I asked them to do and cleaned up after themselves. I thought the price was fair given that it was a minor repair work.

Great work, very punctional. The owner is very responsive and keeps his schedule (delayed one week due to weather but otherwise arrived when reported and got work done when there. Had two separate days of work.

James came to the house, measured for gutter covers and asked about any concerns. We had one looooooong section of gutter that would often overflow due to the small downspouts. The next day he emailed me a quote. He then called a couple of days later and I told him I would like him to do job. He scheduled use for the following week. James and his men did a great job! Very professional.

We came home one day to find our gutters falling off the back of our 2 story house! Universal Home Solutions came out quickly to take a look. The estimate was given on a Friday and the services were completed on Monday. The gutters were reattached and some boards replaced. They painted the boards, as well. Quick, quality work from start to finish.

I was VERY pleased with the work and James (the owner) and Larry were very professional and polite. Everything was explained in detail and they were very mindful of my budget and did not push work that did not need to be done. I would highly recommend them.

He and an assistant were very professional. They worked very neatly, and cleaned up afterwards. I would indeed recommend this company again. It was a pleasure having such a great company work on my house.

James was on time, completed the work quickly, and left the site in great shape.
