Description of Work: Overall, the experience was quite disappointing. John is quite knowledgeable about landscape materials and design. When I contacted him to follow-up on our first meeting a week earlier, he did not remember me, our conversation and couldn't find his notes. When he presented the plan, it was roughly drawn on a piece of paper. It was executed over a period of time in three visits. All in all, I needed to remind John of items in the plan. There was not an attention to execution and finishing. For example, on the first visit, the crew only had verbal instructions which were not complete. They dug up the only rose bush that was supposed to stay. They transplanted two bushes that were dead and supposed to be disposed of. They put too much soil amendment in one area and didn't level it off. I mentioned these things to him during the installation. Some were corrected, some were not. I waited to see the completed project. There are some details which are not to my satisfaction and which I have not asked that they be addressed. At this point, I am really disappointed and do not want to continue work with TLC.

Description of Work: I purchased a coupon for 50 bales of pine needles to be delivered and spread. I was contacted by TLC within a few hours of purchasing the coupon and we set up a date for them to come out. They were punctual and got the job done efficiently. They did a great job and would definitely recommend them to anyone as I will be using them in the future for other projects.

Description of Work: Put in mulch that I ordered from someone else.

Description of Work: They helped to tidy up my landscaping. It took awhile to get together to talk about it and then his crews would come and go to do the job.

Description of Work: TLC was very prompt and professional and we agreed on the scope of the job within 40 minutes. The work has yet to be performed due to weather, however, I was given a target for the work to begin. I feel confident that they will give me a good job for a fair price.

Description of Work: I have a very steep uphill driveway and getting out in snow/ice storms in virtually impossible. When I saw the TLC Landscaping offer on Angie's List, I immediately signed up. The provider was responsive and the job done well. I would definitely use their services again.

Description of Work: I bought a Big Deal from him for 8 hours of landscaping service and clean-up. He has given me an estimate so far.

Description of Work: set up appointment with John for 10:00 AM 3/30/13 to view property and supply some ideas and estimate. This was done over the phone. I explained what we wanted. They were a no show...not even a phone call with a reason. Not very professional. Will not ever use them or recommend their services. With just about everyone having a cell phone there is no excuse not to call.

Description of Work: Came out for a quote and have not heard back from them.
