Description of Work: Aeration, seeding and fertilizer. Following their instructions for care. So far new grass looks great.

Description of Work: I hired the company to do any kind of landscaping I need as far as mowing, edging, and leaf blowing. Once or twice a year they send out a crew for a seasonal cleanup. They recently overseeded and aerated the lawn. I have been using the company for about 3 years. The lawn has never looked better. They have all of the right equipment to handle the lawn work we need done. The staff is very efficient and very hard workers. They will not stop working until the job is done. A crew of three came out recently to mow and completed the job in about 35 minutes. Renaldo, David, Donald have been out for the annual cleanups and he has been excellent to work with. They have had very little turnover in staff over the last 3 years. They are very professional landscapers and can handle any size project. They can even do huge commercial work with the staff and equipment they have. I really appreciate their personal touch on my service even though I do not have a very large project.

Description of Work: I hired Secure Turf to do some landscaping. They planted three magnolia trees, several hydrangea plants, moved a dogwood tree and created some mulch beds for me. Only one of the magnolia trees has done well and I had the hydrangeas dead within one week. I called them to voice my concern about the health of the plants and they told me it would improve. I know a dead plant when I see it. They did finally come back and acknowledge that the hydrangea was dead and replaced it. No better! Here's the worst part. They charged me more than $1200.00 than the estimate! This is largely my fault as I didn't get the estimate in writing. I understand how naive and not very business savvy that was. The man that came and gave me my estimate was named David. The owner, Mr. Ryan Ray, told me that he no longer works there. When I called to resolve the estimate I was told that there was nothing that could be done. Pay the bill or have my credit ruined. I paid. For years now I have been driving up my driveway looking at that area of my property in total disgust! Mr. Ray emailed me to try and resolve my displeasure only offering to spread some mulch or dress up the area so as to make it look nice again. He told me that in these tough economic times he would not be able to refund me the difference in the estimate. Again, more than $1200.00. Apparently tough economic times only exist at Secure Turf. With so many choices in landscape companies I implore you to choose anyone but Secure Turf. To summarize, poor plant quality, outright lying about pricing and insulting a customers knowledge about the health of plants. Avoid Secure Turf.
