My main issues with Paint One:1-According to my neighbors, Paint One painted my house while it was raining. Paint One did not deny this. This type of workmanship is why I wanted the work to be completed while I was present, people don't tend to take short cuts when they are being observed. Time will tell if that had any affect on the final project.2- They did not prep my steel door prior to painting it, when they attempted to hang it, the paint came off in a couple of areas so they patched it by covering the areas with wood filler. When I questioned why there was wood filler on my metal door I could not get a straight answer. When I looked closer at the paint, it was obvious it was not sticking to the door and I could literally peel it off in sheets. They did come out later in the week and repainted the door. I felt that instead of being honest and admitting they had not properly prepped the door, they were trying to cover it up.3-They painted all of my windows shut while they were doing the trim, had to come back out and fixed most of the windows, When I told them the laundry room and kitchen windows were still stuck, there was some resistance about having to come out again. They were to come out on a Thursday, called me on Friday ,said they would be here Monday at 8 am, showed up 40 minutes late.4--I had an old wood planter that has always been on my porch or inside, they broke 2 of the legs off and they left it on my lawn for over a month in the rain which ruined the wood.6- The paint on porch swing was put on so thick that a month later it is still sticky.7-Not sure what they used to sand my deck, but the wood was chewed up and was not smooth at all. When I mentioned it, they did sand down the top rails but the the deck will need to be redone.Overall, I would not use Paint One again without being able to personally supervise their work

As above. They were confident with the results and felt they overpriced because of this. I am not sure when it was quoted as it was some time ago and I just got this email to evaluate them.

I chose not to use them because of multiple communication problems. The estimator, Clate, was very courteous and thorough. The estimate promised the following day did not arrive and after waiting two days I called to get it. Clate emailed me the estimate the next day. On the following day I called and spoke with Clate again and told him I would like to use their services. I asked when we could schedule the work. He advised me to call their office to find that out. I had to leave a voice mail message but after a week had heard nothing. I waited four more days to call again and spoke with Ric who said he would call the next day to tell me when they could start but I heard nothing that day or the next. I had told him I had wanted this right away because I had ordered carpet which could be installed after the painting was done and needed the work done as soon as possible. I emailed him again and asked and he told me that it would be the next day but it wasn?t until today until I received the email. After all the delays in communication, despite promises to communicate promptly , I am now afraid the date he?s scheduling to do the work in two weeks would not be started at the promised time. I am afraid to use him.

Paint one came out and gave us an estimate. We were a little put off at first, because it was all via email and we did not get an opportunity to ask the representative, Clate, any questions about rotten wood or what their policies were before the estimate. They did leave a folder of information though. Once we got the final estimate it was a definite yes. They included pressure washing and treating our decks at a lower price than any of the other paint companies we interviewed offered for just the house and they were still so highly rated on Angie's list. The rain messed up our start dates a few times, but they were anxious to get started, so as soon as possible their prework guy, Hugo, came out and cleaned the house and decks and started replacing wood. They were very efficient and worked quickly. Everyone was great about answering the ton of questions I had, generally via email, as it is hard to get a hold of me during the day. Due to a miscommunication on both sides they started painting the trim the wrong color but we were able to stop them and Pedro came out and they fixed everything very quickly. They pointed out a couple of issues we have with our gutters, the angle is off a bit and they tried to fix it but it was serious gutter work, so we appreciated them going the extra mile and letting us know.The last day, it did seem a bit rushed, although I imagine they were tired of the rain delays too. The clean up was ok, there was a lot of paint left on our water hose and sprayer and some bits of wood and trash around the flower bushes, but that was not a big deal to us, we just cleaned it up ourselves.One of our old shutters was broken when it was being taken down and Pedro special ordered us a new one and the guys came out a few weeks later and put it up very quickly.We were extremely pleased with the service we received. All of the workers were very polite and nice, they put up with us wandering around the house and our son wanting to play with them and get in their way constantly.The house looks lovely and the porch and deck look brand new. We have received quite a few compliments on the house too!My husband and I highly recommend Paint One for exterior painting and maintenance.

First let me say I am satisfied with the work performed, will use this company again and the personnel were courteous and professional. However, believe I may have caught them on an "off day" so my experience did not match my expectations for an "A" rated company. Our job was quoted to include all paint, patching, removal of light fixtures, room painting and crown molding installation and painting. The crown molding was to match our Master Bedroom style / width. The job was scheduled and we made arrangements to be at home for the work. Were called a couple of days prior to our date and informed it would have to be pushed a week. They did show up as scheduled the following week, but were completely unprepared: the painters thought we were to purchase the paint, they knew nothing of the carpentry work and did not realize there was prep work to do (light fixture removal, etc). In the end, no big deal as they were able to get their act together, but they did have to spend the 1st half of the day driving around town getting the paint and other supplies. Overall, they did a very good job with painting and crown molding installation. While I do have a few areas where I am not completely satisfied (inconsistent caulking, crown molding is smaller / thinner than our bedroom molding, had to use my own paint for the molding) my main issue is that I have received no follow up from the company regarding my experience, satisfaction, etc. I would have expected - especially with the initial confusion - a call to see how things went and if I was a satisfied customer. Again, I do plan to use them again because in the end the job was done with quality. However, I do hope the confusion and lack of customer follow-up does not repeat.

What I can tell you is this, the entire experience was fantastic from Pedro to Dwayne to Changa (Luis')(Albert) to Clay was the most pleasant experience with our family having to deal with all the stresses of everyday life and living. I did not know any of these people but by the time the job was finished it was like they were a part of our family and were eager to make us happy if we made a little change here and there to our job. At the beginning of everyday they covered all the necessary areas with plastic and at the end of every day they took the plastic back up and cleaned up our hardwood floors so our home was livable while all this took place. The best thing I can say about them is, "THESE GUYS ARE NOT JUST GOOD BUT THEY ARE EXTREMELY GOOD". After the job was complete and my wife and I made a final inspection and gave them a very small list of about 4 very minor things to fix they came right out and made those changes very quickly and made us happy with the changes and were on their way. We will without a doubt be calling on this company again for some future work and will only be a little sad because they are so good you will have to wait just a little because they are so busy. We would like to thank Pedro,Dwayne,Luis' (aka Changa, Albert), Clay and the other 3 young men for their commitment to excellence. GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!! The Brown family. I called Pedro for a paint proposal. He came on the day and at the precise time that he said he would. He looked over the areas I wanted repainted and then e-mailed me a proposal contract. I later contacted him to set up a start date. Unfortunately, we had to reschedule because they had an exterior job to finish and it rained. We postponed to everyone's satisfaction. Pedro does not require any money "up-front". (Anyone who does is not a true professional, and probably does not have much business.) You pay when the job is over and you are satisfied. Pedro and his men are pleasant and mannerly gentlemen.

I sent an email asking about a quote and within 5 minutes Pedro called me to set it up. They were able to come by for the estimate on a Friday evening which was nice since my wife and I both work. Their price was less than half of what another company on Angie's List quoted us. They also quoted us 4 days to do the work and Paint One did it in 1 which was awesome! The day of painting they arrived right on time and got right to work. We had cleared everything from the rooms because we were getting new carpet a couple days later so they prepped everything and started painting. Very professional and really cared about doing a quality job. We will be calling them again in the fall when we get the rest of the rooms painted.

I got them from Angie’s list. I have chosen them to do the work. Based on the other estimates that I got, I would say they were very good. They were very responsive. They came right out. They were very professional. I would use them in the future.

Mr. Holstin arrived with 2 painters at 9:00 am. The painters got to work immediately with covering furniture and floor. They then proceeded to get the painting done. They were all done by 11:30. They did a wonderful job of painting and cleaning up. I asked Mr. Holstin to quote on some additional work and waiting for him to get back to me.

They did EXACTLY what they said they would do, and they did it well. Can't ask for more than that. Will definitely call them again and woud recommend to others without hesitation.

I used the $100 coupon from Angie's list to see how well this company performs. They were on time. the owner came in with two painters to verify what i needed to have done. He reviewed what would take place. He also told me to expect another guy to come in to provide me their "brochure of services and all related insurance information.". the painters were extremely professional and covered up EVERYTHING...... the painting was perfect and not a drop in the wrong place. They cleaned up perfectly. I will definitely use them in 2012 for some additional large scale painting. They appear to be a little pricey but do an extremely good job.

The workers showed up on time and seemed to take great care to make sure the job was done correctly. For example, asking to make sure where I wanted paint and ensuring they were using the correct paint. Care was also taken to make sure the room was put back together exactly as they had found it. Very pleased with the results. My only criticism would be with the setting up of the appointment in that I was not told what kind of prep work I should do before the painters arrived (e.g. should furniture be moved away from walls, I assumed that it should be). But to be fair, I probably could have called the company to find this out.

The workers from Paint One were punctual and they painted the entire room in only one day. They used the paint brand that we requested and handled ordering the paint. The workers were unobtrusive and did an excellent job. We would use their service again in the future and recommend to others.

They are the real deal. They called ahead to schedule the work. They showed up on time. Did quality work. Paint One scheduled a meeting to walk the house and create a punch list. Punch list was minor. Completed the punch list promptly. Finished on time. Professional and thorough. Pedro and Clate are awesome.

I spent around $700 on that work. They provided the paint and it was all good stuff. They did a really nice job but were a little pricey.

Everything went fabulous, the FBI would not have been more pleased.

They did very good work. They also guaranteed their work in the kitchen for 5 years and the back deck for 3 years. They also left extra paint and stain in case I wanted to touch anything up later.

They worked for a week and had to come back and do some things. There was two follow up days. I had wonderful experience with them before. They did exterior painting for me last year and it was just wonderful. This time the groups of painters that they sent to do interior painting were less experienced. They made a lot of errors that had to be corrected. That part was problematic. We spoke to the owner who was just great. He was wonderful about making the follow up. He made sure there was no carpentry and painting problem. The price was good for each part. He was very responsive. The person who was in charge of the work, it was hard to get him; he was less responsive. I would use them in the future.
