Description of Work: My husband has always rented a pressure washer and washed our house hisself. I convinced him this year to hire someone to do it for us. We chose Mr. Monroe because of his references. Mr. Monroe is a very nice man; however, we are not happy with the way the house looks. There are still quite a few brown spots on the house and the patio and front porch don't look like they were cleaned. My husband got all the stains off the patio and front porch when he did it himself and the house looked cleaner. I asked him if he wanted me to call Mr. Monroe back out and he said no. We are not saying don't call Mr Monroe because he certainly has a lot of good references. I'm just saying we did not have a good experience.

Description of Work: Called John based on the feedback/strong ratings he had on Angie's List. He delivered: was responsive, prompt and did a great job powerwashing our house, cleaning the gutters and washing all the windows - no small task! All for a very fair price too. I plan on using him every few years and would definitely recommend him.

Description of Work: John cleaned and sealed a fence for us which surrounds our back yard. Because it is a shadow-box style fence, he had to do both sides. I wanted to keep the natural color of the fence so John used a sealer with just a hint of color to preserve it. I especially like the fact that we won't have to do anything to it except clean it in about five years. John is ALL GREEN--HE DOES NOT USE HARMFUL CHEMICALS!! He is very professional and knows what he is doing. I plan to use him later to seal my deck when it is completed.

I called him back told him what I needed and told him our square footage. He gave me a price. He was there within 2 days. He did the work while everyone was at work or school and it was GREAT! Great response time and wonderful service would most definetly us him again.

Description of Work: The driveway was really a mess. Stained and moss covered. We have had it done before but Mr. Monroe did a wonderful job and it now looks better than it ever did. The biggest part of our job was the deck. We have it stained every year because of fading. Mr. Monroe came on the day promised. We felt it needed a little more touch up. Mr. Monroe came right back, re-stained, and said it if does not look great, call and he would come right back.
