+ 3 moreWe have used their services twice. The installers were great. They did not leave until the job was complete. We will use them again in future as their previous work was good. We even bought a dish washer from them which was installed well. We did not have any complaints with them. Their pricing was good.
Description of Work: We used services of Lowe's for installation of new windows 3 years back. We used their services again a year and a half back to install a door for our house.

+ -1 moreI was just going to write them a letter because the door frame that they installed and I had a storm door. It is leaking all over the frame and inside it. We spent $350-$400 for two room doors replaced with installation.
Description of Work: We used Lowe’s and they replaced two doors for us and it will be 2 years in September.

Description of Work: I've had several projects done through Lowe's over the past several years, including carpet and flooring replacement and kitchen remodel. I have been more than pleased with the results. Recently I had a problem with my carpet. Lowe's sent someone out and the problem was resolved

+ 0 moreAt the time of sale, we were offered a 10% discount on a floor model fridge that had already been discounted during an EnergyStar sale. It was in perfect condition. Our stove, a gas range, was not discounted, but we balked at the installation price of nearly $200. We expressed our dismay and the saleslady was empathetic. We ended up having a friend, who is a plumber, install the stove for us. Anyway, the delivery went perfectly. The delivery guy called ahead of time to say he was 15 minutes out. I never really thought about how the new fridge, nicknamed Gargantua, was going to fit through our front doorway, hmmmmm. Well, this posed no problem for the guys as they, all three of them, were ready for the challenege. You would have thought it was a competition. They were as careful as if they were handling a newborn. I know that sounds corny, but it's the truth.
Description of Work: I bought a refridgerator and a stove and had them delivered.

+ -1 moreThe people who did the delivery did an excellent job. I called afterward to let them know. They were very experienced and very careful. They made sure that my beautiful wood floors and walls were protected. They smiled the whole time; they were very pleasant. One of them had to go under the house and find the water cutoff. They gave me instructions on all of the features of the refrigerator. They told me what all of the displays were and how they worked. I enjoyed having them here.

+ -1 moreThe sub-contractors did a good job despite being a day late. Installed linoleum without damages to wall or base board. Cleaned after themselves when job was finished. I was a bit disappointed that Lowe's did not call me to find out if the work done was satisfactory. At any rate, I was satisfied with it.

Description of Work: LOWE'S SOLD ME A $400. DEFECTIVE PRESSURE WASHER. I RETURNED IT TO THE STORE (RECEIPT LOST), HOWEVER CASHIER SCANNED BOX AND VERIFIED IT WAS A RECENT LOWE'S PURCHASE. THE ASSISTANT MANAGER, THEN CAME OVER. HE SAID 'NO EXCHANGE WITHOUT RECEIPT'. THEY WILL REPAIR AT OUR COST BUT NO EXCHANGE. I POINTED OUT TO HIM HOW LOWE'S COMPUTER SYSTEM VERIFIED THE RECENT SALE TO US. WELL, THIS MAN JUST FLAT BLEW UP AND THREATENED TO CALL THE POLICE TO HAVE MY HUSBAND AND I ESCORTED FROM THE STORE. I ASKED THE GIRL AT THE DESK TO PLEASE, PLEASE CALL THE STORE MANAGER. THE ASSISTANT MANAGER THEN SAID 'THAT'S IT, I'M CALLING THE POLICE NOW'. SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING THAT MIGHT HAPPEN IN IRAQ? NO, THIS HAPPENED RIGHT HERE IN MATTHEWS, N.C. LAST NIGHT AT YOUR LOCAL LOWE'S STORE. I HAVE NEVER IN MY WHOLE LIFE BEEN SUBJECTED TO THREATS AND INTIMIDATION OF THIS NATURE. IT IS NOT NECESSARY FOR THEM TO ESCORT ME FROM THE STORE, AS I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN IT AGAIN !!

+ -1 moreTHE FIRST TEAM ARRIVED LATE AND DID A POOR JOB. THEY PUT IT IN WRONG, BECAUSE IT WAS LEAKING. THEY TOOK SO LONG THAT THEY HAD TO COME BACK THE FOLLOWING DAY TO FINISH. THEN I CALLED LOWES THE NEXT DAY TO TELL THEM HOW DISSATISFIED I WAS SO THEY SENT OUT A WHOLE DIFFERENT TEAM (WHICH I BELIEVE WAS A DIFFERENT SUBCONTRACTOR). WHEN THEY (THE SECOND TEAM) ARRIVED, THEY SHOWED ME EVERYTHING THAT WAS WRONG AND FIXED IT ALL.
