Description of Work: Called them for 2 weeks and spoke with the office but no follow up was performed, I did not receive a quote for the job even though I faxed them on 2 occasions the scoop of work that needed to be done according to the home inspector. I am sure they are a good company just not the right fit for me.

BTR would like to thank the member for the opportunity to earn their business. The member lives out of state and asked BTR to provide an estimate for repairs she needed taken care of that were on a home inspection report. The member sent a page via email with a few short sentences that was explained to be an inspection report (was not formal inspection report document) with 2 items in need of repair for a home they were selling. The document stated that there was damage to a drip edge on the front of the home and damaged flashing at the chimney. BTR agreed to make a trip to the home free of charge to inspect the stated repair needs and then provide a free estimate based on findings. BTR arrived at the address given by the member to find a home with no drip edge installed nor was there a chimney on the house. BTR then attempted to contact the member to ensure the address was correct and quite honestly, make sure the requested items were valid. The member did not respond therefore BTR was unable to send an estimate for repairs that were not even found on the home at the address given. We certainly hope the member is able to get the repair work completed so they can sell the property. BTR is happy to work with the member if they respond.

Description of Work: BTR built a front porch cover. It had to match specifications dictated by my association. They did such a great job, I hired them to replce leaking skylights in my sunroom. They did a great job there too!!

Went very well.
Description of Work: Did wood rot repair on front porch. When doing this, we found that the flat roof on the porch was leaking and that had let water leak in and caused the rot. The total amount spent included replacing the roof.

Description of Work: I called to set up some time to do some trim work on my windows and for 4 hours of work for 99.00 I thought I was getting a good deal. But I was quoted 3000.00 for the work I wanted done. How does this happen. And after a few phone calls and e-mails not being returned I gave up. I will have my son do the work

Description of Work: Replaced Masonite Boards that were soft. I had purchased an Angie's List special for $99 for 4 hours of work (2 people for 2 hours) but the scope required additional time. They also bondo some areas to help repair rotten wood. Nothing was overly complex, just labor intensive which they charged by the hour after the initial Angie's List coupon. The work performed met expectations and was completed in one day.
