We had a problem with a prior contractor and were referred by friends to Smart Home Now. They came out the same day, on a Sunday, because we were in a hurry to watch a sports event, and took care of fixing the prior contractors mistake and installing everything properly and professionally. If I had known about them from the beginning, I would have gotten my plasma from them as well. They were so nice and friendly, and did clean fast work, and then took their time going over all of the remote controls to make sure I was really clear as to how to use the system. I am going to add surround sound and a universal remote control and I know I am going to only call them this time. Their price was the same as the other companies would have been, and they were much nicer, and more professional, let alone coming out the same day on a weekend to take care of us!!!

Frank Marengo, the Sales Rep for Home Technology Solutions, was extremely helpful. He came to my home to design a system to meet my specific needs, and I also went to the Home Tech show room to see several options. Frank helped me find a reasonable cost/performance balance in a system that works great. My house was pre-wired for speakers so we chose a system with an Marantz AV Receiver that matched up with 5.1 speakers mounted in the ceiling, and a set of speakers on the back porch. This matched up well with the new LCD TV I received for Christmas. The crew that did the installation was amazing taking a little less than a full day to complete the project. Speakers were installed with no damage to the ceiling, all cables are cut to the exact length required, so there are no coils of excess wire, all very neat and simple. At the end of the project there was no trash, dust, or boxes left, just a great home theater system in my new TV cabinet.

My entire experience with Home Technology Solutions was fantastic from the get-go. Professional, extremely knowledgeable, timely, and polite. Rena Robaina, the owner, came to my home to give me an idea of what I was looking at (cost wise), made some excellent technical suggestions and in the end, saved me money on the entire system. After the initial visit, Rene provided me with a typed estimate within a few days. As I began shopping around for my new equipment and doing my homework, I had a lot of specific questions on the equipment and Rene was more than happy to answer all of my questions, to ensure I was comfortable with my decision. Two gentlemen came to handle the install. They were both very professional too! They cleaned up after the install and showed me how to use my new system. I have been very pleased with my new system and with everything, Rene recommended.

The owner Rene came to our home in 1/06 to perform the estimate. We checked references and were pleased. We moved forward with the work in 7/06. We are incredibly happy with all of the work that they did. 2 gentlemen came to handle the installs at all times. They were neat and took their shoes off at all times inside the home. The only thing they weren't able to provide was the electrician who had to place an outlet above the fireplace (that cost $135 by another service provider). They charge $95/hour for their installation work and their estimate was right on the money. We had to put 33% down and then paid the balance when they completed the work. We're so happy with their work that we have asked for a follow-on estimate to put in ceiling speakers in our master bedroom as well.
