Called for an estimate and it was a week before an appointment could be made. Wyatt was right on time and called before coming out. After measuring and removing the eyebrow window, it was several more days before the work was done. Scott was right on time and called before visiting as promised. He was knowledgeable, professional and fast. He even reminded me to use the Angie's list coupon.

Installer was professional. I later discovered the glass was not caulked but when I checked it was not caulked on the windows that were not updated so I guess that is the way they are supposed to be.

Excellent. Fast response, very fast service. Excellent, the tech Scott was punctual, competent, and a pleasure to have in our home. I highly recommend Glass Doctor and would use them again. They would be the first one I call.

These people are wonderful! Each time I have needed them, they have provided excellent service. They are very knowledgeable and get the job done quickly and at very reasonable cost. Every person at this company with whom I came in contact was very courteous and helpful.

David with Glass Doctor came to look at my sliding glass door, which had a roller that wasn't working. He was on time, professional, and fixed it on the spot. I am very happy with this company's high level of service, scheduling an appointment was very easy. Customer service was top notch and they were professional and on time. I highly recommend them!

I called and they came out in a few days. The guy walked into my house, measured the glass, then told me they'd Email me the quote. Five minutes after he left, I get the Email. He couldn't just quote me while he was there? Stupid. The quote was expensive, but it was for one of my rentals, so I didn't want to find someone else. I would use someone else next time.

I was surprised that the technician did not show up in the 3 hour window they gave me. When I called to see where he was, I was told that maybe he got behind. OK, well, I get it, but it would be nice if he would have called! I was given the technician's cell phone # by the office person, but when I called it, it went to voicemail... which was FULL! So I couldn't leave a message. The person did come to my house over an hour late, and I was already getting an estimate from another vendor. The technician settled in to do his work of assessing the windows, which I appreciate, but he used a SHARPIE to put an "x" on all of the windows that he would suggest replacing. I can't get the x' off the window. I guess that is one way to force them to be replaced. Several days later, I have heard nothing. no estimate, nothing. I decided to go with another group.

I called them up and I received the estimate on the same day and they fixed it the next day. They were very good.

They did a great job. They were prompt, professional and cleaned up after themselves.

The replacement of the glass shower wall in my master bathroom was fine, except for one thing. During the process the crew deeply gouged one of the tiles on the corner step of my shower, resulting in a very sharp edge protruding at the level where my small toddler children frequently walk (and topple over). When I called and emailed to ask about what they could do to repair the damage, I was treated very coldly and given the run-around. I was also told that the technician would call me directly, which he never did. After repeatedly attempting to find a resolution to this issue, and receiving nothing but silence in return, I am forced to write this review. I only wish that they had been more willing to ensure that their work did not create unintended damage to other parts of my bathroom or to repair it when it in fact happened (especially given that all servicemen are insured for issues like that). Hence the bad review.

Contacted company on Wednesday. Wyatt came out the next morning to give me an estimate, which was competitive, and the new window was installed the same afternoon. Everyone, from the office staff to the installers (Adam and Chad), did a quality professional job. Highly recommend.

After contacting Glass Doctor about getting a quote to replace a cracked window, the specialist was able to inspect the damage within a few days. He was professional and punctual, just a really friendly and nice man. He made the process easy. The quote was what I expected after searching the Internet for approximate costs. After approval of the quote, the glass took less than 48 hours to be cut, and the company called to schedule the installment date. The installer was also punctual and professional. The whole process took less than a week, and they were so pleasant to work with. I can't emphasize that enough.

The work was fine, but pretty expensive. I called them and they said they could come out the same day. I was willing to pay a little more to have the window fixed quickly. However, the first visit was just a salesman, who was scheduling the work. We had to wait until the next week to have the repair work done on site, which took less than 30 minutes. If we had known it was going to take that long I could have gone to a local big box hardware store and ordered a whole replacement window much cheaper. I could have taken the sliding window out, used it and thrown the rest away.

I contacted the provider. Customer service was very responsive and they scheduled a timely appointment for measuring. Wyatt came on time and took measurements but also informed me that it would be extra work since the door was custom made and needed to be cut on the edges in order to replace the glass and then be resealed. He quoted me for on-site installation same day for $381. I thought this was a reasonable price given the amount of work that needed to be done and the fact that both doors were custom made. The technician showed up on time on Friday, 10/19 to preform the service, but immediately ran into a problem when he realized he needed to cut the edges. He stated he needed to take it back to the shop where he has his tools, only to call back two hours later and let me know that he will need to hold it until Monday. This is where I was frustrated because clearly the guy that took the measurements did not clearly communicate to the repair person the complexity of the job. So my expectations for both same day and on-site installation were not met even though I paid for both. The work was ultimately three days late and I had to keep calling every day just to find out the status of the job. For these reasons I am not giving these guys the grades they could have received with better communication. I also feel like I over paid because my expectations were not met.

They were from the beginning, from the first call, totally professional and timely all the way through the process, from Wyatt, who came out and gave an estimate, to Marshall, who installed the window panes. They did a timely and excellent job!

When my husband initially called he got ahold of someone right away and they came out and did an estimate, and we put down a fifty percent deposit. They called to set up the appointment and we missed the call, after that it was kind of difficult to get ahold of somebody, but once I did get ahold of them, we did get an appointment set up quickly. The window installer came out and he was very professional and friendly. He showed up on time. They did a good job although it wasn't the cleanest due to window cocking that could have been scraped off.

It went very well. Someone came out to measure the window from the outside of the house, and then he said the office would get back to me with the cost to order and replace the window. After a couple of days, I obtained that information, and I scheduled a time for the job. I had to be home since the repairman worked from both the inside and the outside of the house to replace the window. He was friendly, did a good job, took away the old window, and left everything cleaned up well. I was satisfied with my choice to use Glass Doctor.

This project took two trips. The first was to assess the problem which took about one minute. It was determined that two of the clips that keeps the window up were broken. The parts had to be ordered. It took about two weeks to get the clips in. Then the repair person came back and installed the clips and now the window stays up like it should. The company was very professional and the person that came was very knowable and quick determining what the problem was. Will definitely use this firm again.

They came out to measure the window pane, provide an estimate and take a deposit. That was 2 days after I called. They came out to replace the glass less than 2 weeks later. It took about 10 minutes. Two workmen came, and were very friendly and professional. They cleaned the glass very well. The replacement glass was a perfect match to the original and the workmanship was excellent. I have used Glass Doctor 4 or 5 times and have always been extremely pleased with their service. Their Angie's List coupon helped with the cost.

Glass doctor came out and took an estimate of the broken window. They called us with the estimate and ordered the window. It came in a week later and next day the guy came out and repair it. Took him about 30 minutes to finish and it looks great! If we need a window fixed again we will be using them. They did a great job!

The rubber seal had broken on a window above the door, I called Glass Doctor and they came out the next day and measured the window and I had to pay half of the cost up front. One week later they called saying the window was ready and they can be out the next morning to install it. The installation took less then and hour, everything was very professional and I had zero issues. I would definitely use them again.

Ordered 2 windows in January. One window came in within a week and was installed. The installer was excellent. Second window took about 3 months to come in and was installed at the end of April. Again, the installer did a nice job. Cost for both windows was about $550, which was comparable to another bid. My issue with Glass Doctor is their customer service. After waiting for almost 3 months to have the window repaired, the work was done and, that day, I received 3 calls asking for payment. That was not necessary and really annoying. When I called back and spoke with Julie, she told me her manager was pushing her to make the calls, I then thought back to when I first contacted Glass Doctor and remember there was an issue with scheduling them (I think I had to call them even after doing the online request for a quote). Add to that the 3 months it took to get the window, then the annoying calls for payment. Even if another vendor is slightly more expensive, I would go with them over Glass Doctor.

They did a great job. They were fast and efficient. They came to my work and did it in the parking lot, which was very helpful to me. They came when they said they would come. The price was in the ballpark and what I expected to pay.

Our front window was broken when the lawn mower picked up a rock. The window was very large, double paned and of tempered glass. We called two other glass services; one did not respond the other took my rough measurements and quoted a price sight unseen. I felt they were not interested in our business. I next called Glass Doctor of Charlotte - by then it was after hours on a Friday night. the answering service took a message and my call was returned on Monday and the estimator was there the same day. The glass was special ordered and was installed on that Friday. Everyone I dealt with was polite, professional and pleasant. The broken glass was cleaned up and the new glass cleaned inside and out. They were true to their estimate (which was much better than my other quote) and honored a $20 Angie's list coupon. I can recommend this company without any reservations
