Excellent work
Description of Work: Had broken transom window above a full window. Difficult to get to and had blinds all the way to the top. They came out when scheduled for an estimate and then without a deposit ordered the replacement e-glass. Also removed the blinds for me and wrapped them for storage. Came out when scheduled and made quick work of the replacement and restored the blinds.

Description of Work: We didn't use them, because we decided to replace the windows instead of repairing. I wouldn't use them in the future, because their quote was almost twice what 3 other companies had quoted (all with A ratings). Don't know whether they're just overpriced or gave us the "Ballantyne" price!

Description of Work: D because they showed up. Extreme lead time for the job (months and months), half driven screws, 40% screws not installed at all (they lost lots of ws they removed. What babies!) Did not want to install new screws, wiped cilicone glue on furniture, and had to hurry off to another job despite the manager being contacted. Had to call a local glass installer to correct. This type of business model should not live, and make sure you do not fall victim, or encourage this type of donkey work.

Description of Work: They replaced double pane window glass for a large 180 degree half round arch window. After coming here for the estimate and waiting three weeks for the glass to come in, they scheduled a 1-3 pm installation. At 3:30 pm I called their office because no one had showed up or even called me. It was explained that the installation crew, after checking the window on the truck, found that the product was ordered incorrectly by the office. So I had to wait another week before they came back, only to find that the newly remade window was still not correct. Of course they found this fact out only after taking out the broken one and trying to fit in the new one. |Had to wait another week before they finally brought the correct size. I'm thinking a more professional outfit might have had someone checking to make sure they were sent the correct items from their vendors. And on their last visit they were way late again. I requested an early afternoon service call but didn't see them until 4:30 pm. Installers were courteous and apologetic. |Job looks okay and I would probably use them again since there is not a lot of reputable contractors in the area to choose from.

THIS WAS A QUICK, WELL PRICED, PRECISELY MEASURED JOB. PHONE CALLS WERE RETURNED PROMPTLY, DELIVERY WAS AS PROMISED, AND THE INSTALLERS WERE A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH. OF INTEREST, THE FIRST COMPANY I HIRED TRIED 4 TIMES, OVER 8 WEEKS, TO GET THE MEASUREMENTS RIGHT FOR AN EXACT FIT, BUT NEVER SUCCEEDED - HENCE, GLASS DOCTOR CORP WAS CALLED IN TO REPLACE THE ORIGINAL COMPANY, AND HAD THE GLASS ON THE DESKTOP WITH A PERFECT FIT IN ONE WEEK.
Description of Work: FITTED GLASS FOR LARGE KITCHEN DESKTOP, INCLUDING GROMITE HOLE. EXACT MEASUREMENTS WERE IMPORTANT AS THE WALL CORNER WAS NOT PERFECTLY SQUARE.
