He was awesome. He was excellent and very reasonable. He was a very nice guy. He was a young guy and very professional. He did an excellent job and they gave us very good service.

Picked it up, fixed, and returned it within a week. I thought the service was excellent.

I don't know if I will use them again. One of the sills went in crooked and I wasn't too happy about it. It was off by three or four degrees so there is more air coming through the window.

They came to the parking lot of where my husband works and did it in an hour. They were prompt and efficient and they did a beautiful job.

Material delivered in about one week. Installation less than 90 minutes. Office staff and field employees seemed professional in all they did.

I can tell you that they were very responsive. I called and spoke to someone on the phone and someone got right out within the next day or two to get it done. He was very helpful in terms of showing me the chip and he explained to me that they may or may not be able to get all of the chip out and that I will still see it. I'm glad he prepared me for all of that so that I have a realistic expectation.

Someone came out immediately to give us an estimate. They ordered the glass and it took about a week for them to install it. They did a good job. We didn't do a ton of comparisons, but we would use them again for replacing glass.

Glass was fine, installation was not. The installer came on time and completed the work fairly quickly. At first, everything seemed fine. He used glue to attach the mirror to the wall, then put clips under it to temporarily hold it in place while the glue cured. He knew there would be a frame going up, but he didn't mention how long the glue would need to cure before I removed the clips (required to hang the frame). After looking at it closer though, the mirror wasn't level. The left edge was about a half inch higher than the right edge. I knew I could fix that with the frame, so I let it slide. I waited 5 full days to hang the frame, and as soon as I removed the clips, the mirror began sliding down the wall (inches above my new $800 custom quartz countertop). I immediately did what I could to hold the mirror up on the wall while my wife resecured the original clips. I called the Glass Doctor number and was transferred to their national call center since it was a Sunday afternoon. I was told that someone would contact me from the local office in the morning. That obviously wasn't any help, so I went to the hardware store to get my own mirror clips - ones that I could leave on for the frame installation. I managed to get the clips on myself and the mirror was finally secured. The frame is up now, and it looks great, no thanks to Glass Doctor. I got a call late Monday morning from Glass Doctor, and since I had managed to install the mirror myself, they weren't too concerned. I asked about some sort of refund for the work, and was told I'd get called back. I had to call back myself on Friday, and was finally told that I could get $35 refunded. I paid $120 for delivery and installation - a delivery I could have done myself if I had known that the installation was going to be useless. I'm glad I didn't take the clips out and walk away for a few minutes - I would have found that giant mirror sitting on my (potentially cracked) counter. I've had good experiences with the South Blvd location, but this was my first and last time using the Matthews location.

I got them off of Angie's List and the estimate they gave me was about $1400. They were responsive and came within a day or two of when I called. You would think when the company wants your business they would follow up after the estimate, but they did not. I didn't chose them because I got a lower estimate with another company.

The job went great and I liked the price

There was a crack on the windshield and it had to be replaced. He really did a very good job. He came and delivered the window to my house which was fantastic. He had brought the wrong window initially. As it was getting late in the evening he brought the right one out the next morning and installed it. He was very apologetic and went above and beyond in trying to get it fixed. He was excellent. I was very pleased with his service.

I didn?t compare prices because I needed the job done quickly but I am satisfied.

I wanted this window to match the existing windows so I didn?t want to replace it entirely. I got three estimates and I chose Glass Doctor because of price. He did exactly what he said he would do. The glazing had to be patched since he did the job but I didn?t call him for the problem because I could fix it myself.

I called last week and requested that an estimate be given on 1/12/10. On 1/12/10, a sales person came to my home and gave me an estimate to replace a broken window. He took measurements and called his office for a price quote. I was told that the replacement should arrive within a day or two and they would call to schedule to have the work done. Approximately an hour later, I was called and informed that they actually had the window in stock and could replace it today. The service person came to replace the window and installed the new window. It went very smoothly. Both the sales and service person were very nice and I would definitely use this company again.

Glass Doctor of Charlotte made the experience seemless. I called Monday morning, January 28th and Pete promptly answered the phone. He took all my information, including the claim # I had to call for my insurance. He then called the claim # and conferenced me in so that we could take care of the insurance claim immediately. After the call he scheduled my service for the same day and had one of their technicians come out to my home and do the repair in my driveway. The technician arrived on time and had the new windshield on within 30 minutes. Glass Doctor warranties their windshield replacements for life against leakage. Overall, they were courteous, prompt, and accomadating.

They were on-time and the service was excellent. They charged us the same amount that they quoted. We have used them for windshield replacement for my car and would continue to use them for such services.

Very uneventful which is a good thing.

We have had several windows break or come unsealed due to house settling. In each case, a technician came out to the house to measure the window and provide an estimate, then returned about a week later to install the new window. The technician always takes care not to track dirt into the house and cleans up the work area spotlessly. The techs are also very good about not letting the cats out of the house as they come and go to do their work. None of the windows that have been replaced have failed.
