Description of Work: We requested a quote for a privacy fence. On my recommendation (based on ratings in Angie's List) my next-door neighbor made the call. The rep showed up unexpectedly over the weekend (he was ''in the area''), then never called back with a quote. I happened to be home when he ''dropped in'' on my neighbor and spoke to him. I was not impressed with his professionalism at all.

Description of Work: Scheduled a Saturday appointment with this company. The representative never showed for the scheduled time. When we called him, he said he was called out of town on an emergency and didn't have time to cancel/reschedule his appointments. He said he would call us back the following week to reschedule the appointment. It's been over a week, and we haven't been contacted.

Description of Work: Remove existing 3-rail fence w/wire and replace with same. Fence was original to house (23 years old) and beginning to fall down in parts.

+ -1 moreWe had a great experience with Forge Fence. They were prompt and friendly. Two days after we met with Chuck for a quote, the fence was already completed. The timing was perfect, and overall it was a job well done. We would definitely recommend Forge Fence Systems.
Description of Work: After getting quotes from a few fence companies and the big box stores, we stumbled across Forge Fence Systems and could finally breathe a breath of fresh air. They were the first company that didn't try to sell us something we didn't want. Forge Fence listened to our needs, requests and gave us a great quote. What sold us even more was the great attitude and personality of the owner, Chuck. Forge Fence installed a chain link fence on two sides of our yard and built two beautiful, wood gates on each side of our house in the front, which offers great curb appeal. We had chosen to use chain link for our yard because the neighbors already had existing chain link on two sides. Plus we have 2 dogs that we need to keep in the yard.

Description of Work: FORGE INSTALLED A FENCE FOR ME SOMETIME AGO. MONTHS LATER, I CALLED THEM BACK TO ASK IF THEY WOULD PUT A SUPPORT POST IN FOR MY HAMMOCK. CHUCK AND HIS GUYS CAME OUT, INSPECTED THEIR PREVIOUS WORK AND PUT IN MY HAMMOCK POSTS. THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME A DIME! THIS COMPANY IS SUCH A JOY TO WORK WITH. IN TODAY'S ECONOMY IT'S SO HARD TO FEEL YOU ACTUALLY GET YOUR MONEY'S WORTH FOR SERVICES LIKE THIS. I WISH I HAD MORE JOBS AROUND THE HOUSE THAT I COULD CALL FORGE TO TAKE CARE OF I KNOW I'D BE GETTING OUTSTANDING QUALITY FOR A FAIR PRICE!

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE VERY PROMPT IN CALLING BACK AND INSTALLING FENCE. OVERALL, DID A GOOD JOB AND THE FENCE LOOKS GREAT. OUR ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THAT THEY LOST THE KEYS TO THE GATE, AND IT TOOK MULTIPLE CALLS AND ALMOST A MONTH BEFORE WE GOT A NEW LOCK AND KEY. THEY DID COME OUT DURING THAT TIME WITH THE KEYS THEY HOPED WOULD WORK DURING THAT MONTH, HOWEVER, IT SEEMED LIKE IT TOOK A LONG TIME TO ACTUALLY GET THE ISSUE RESOLVED, OVERALL THEY DID A NICE JOB.

THEIR PRICE WAS A LITTLE HIGH BUT I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THE WORKERS AND THE FENCE LOOKS GOOD. THE WORK WAS DONE OVER JULY 4TH SO THE PUNCTUALITY WAS A MINOR PROBLEM.
